BEST WESTERN Alvin Inn

I actually stayed at the Best «Worsten» and it was even better than the «Dis“Comfort Inn next door. Yes, there’s a story here.
My reservations had been made at the Comfort Inn next door. However, upon check-​in, we found our room to be newly painted and filled with fumes and no others to move to; except for a smoking room. Not gonna’ work for me at all.
Our good fortune found the «Dis“Comfort Inn lodged literally in between an America’s Value Suites and the Best Western. Walks to both to check on vacancies found the Best Western with a King, non-​smoking room, less $ than the room at «Dis“Comfort Inn and same amenities (pool, free breakfast). So, we took it!
Not too shabby a Best Western I might add. I’m still not fond of outside doors and exterior hallways, but the room was clean with granite vanity, comfy bed and brand new Samsung HDTV. Can’t beat that for Alvin, TX!
Noisy air conditioner and maid not coming to change towels and clean on our last day makes this a 3-​star location. But, at least there were no paint fumes! I may even stay here again.
