Best breakfast tacos in Alvin but the migas plate and carne guisada tacos are my favorites. I haven’t had their lunch but I will soon. The salsa verde is the best on this side of the globe. Some days the salsa is spicier than others but that is because it’s fresh daily. Love this place. I recommend everyday of the week. Enjoy!

tried this place based off of a Facebook groups highly praised recommendation, that has yet again failed. I chose to attend this place on mothers day. Spending my special day here was a mistake. The queso was so runny that it wouldn’t even stick to the chips it just kept running off. It was VERY hot inside as well, like the ac was out or something, it made for a very irritable experience. My husband and I just weren’t pleased with our meals either. With how highly praised this place was the flavor was surely lacking. It’s deft not the worst I’ve had(parks) so I’d be up to giving it another try.

Food is authentic and wonderful. You can’t beat the price for the quality. The surroundings aren’t posh or trendy. The dining area is small. Don’t walk away because of the older décor. The staff cares and it shows. Missing that 5th star for small things like limited parking, limited hours, and the dining room is worn.

I went this morning because the restaurant I wanted to eat at was closed. My aunt told me about this place and I’m glad she did. The food was really really good. I had the chilaquiles with egg and went it came I questioned it in my mind because I never had it with Parmesan cheese but it was really delicious!!! I usually go to Taqueria del Sol for gorditas but Juanitas were better. I had beans and cheese and the way the masa looked and tasted were fantastic. I will be back

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the county. Service is excellent and the food is even better. The green sauce menu do and Barbaro are the best I’ve ever had.

Everyone, ok so by now I know I few people have seen me post on here about my bad experiences I’ve had with restaurants in Alvin. Yesterday while we were all commenting back and forth a woman named«Alejandra Turpin», in the middle of our rants, commented suggesting I try her families restaurant… GUYSIMSOOGLAD I WENTTHISMORNING! «Juanitas taqueria» is very easy to miss if your not paying attention. It blends into the surroundings so drive slow :-) I went and tried some of their breakfast(huevos rancheros) and it was amazing, it was very affordable, hot, delicious and I will be back!!! Alejandra was there bright and early and greeted me with a warm smile, but what got me was that as soon as I walked in I felt that small restaurant feel. This is not tex-mex breakfast guys and Yes it’s a small restaurant, when you walk in you have to close the door behind you, it does not shut on its own and I loved that! I DONTUSUALLYDOTHIS, Because I’m soo picky with everything but I absolutely loved the place, just wondering how long is acceptable time to wait before going back !! PS.the tortillas reminded me of the ones my grandma used to make back in Mexico. Not too thin, not too thick, lightly coated with flour so it wouldn’t stick to the skillet when flipped, and tastes amazing. The tortillas alone should have their own spot on the menu!
