I only come here for the menduo! Right up there with my mother in-laws! Not only is it awesome, but they serve all week… not just a wknd thing like most places.

The food is good, but the place is a bit small and they only accept cash. Service is great… looks and feels like a good place to hang out and chit chat… very cheap :)

This little café is on the main drag through Alvin. It doesn’t look like much — in fact, it looks sort of like an old gas station — but oh boy, the food’s a perfect match for the venue.
It’s a dim, slightly dingy kind of place where people are friendly but mostly keep to themselves. Along with the big portions and friendly service, you’ll get families with boisterous kids and also rednecks who are trying to sneak booze into their coffee.
Over all, I’d say great breakfast foods, great Mexican rice, and really cheap!
