One of the top 5 places to eat in Amarillo!!! and if the line is to long just head across the street to grab some of the best Mexican food in Amarillo(El Bracero). You can’t go wrong at either place.

The burgers here are out of this world. I like them spicy and they do not disappoint. The cheese fries are fabulous as well just bring a friend to help you out. I have been here numerous times and they are always on their game.

Get here before they open for the dinner crowd! It fills up fast! A police officer at Cavender’s suggested this place while shopping a few weeks ago. Due to work constraints, we weren’t able to go, until the day before we were scheduled to leave Amarillo. Boy, we sure were kicking ourselves for not going sooner, or this place would’ve gotten rich off of the 4 of us! A large iced down claw foot bathtub chock full of bottled alcohol, greets you as you walk in the door. Perfect after a hard days work! We grabbed a booth, and were quickly greeted by our waitress, with pink streaked hair!(Forgot her name) This girl is gooood! Greeted us warmly, took our drink order, and our app order, and was gone less than 2 minutes, returning with 3 frosty beers, and my pop. I’m a soda junkie. Their fountain coke is top rank, the glasses are huge and refills are free! BONUS! Not too long after our drinks arrived, she was back with our apps. Queso and chips, and a large pizza pan heaped with fresh cut, skin on fries, topped with bacon, ranch and shred cheese! Most places we’ve eaten at have been mediocre in the temperature of serving their apps. This place makes you wait to eat, its so damn hot! 5 stars for that, alone! We all ordered various burgers off their menu, I having the BBQ burger with bacon. Best burger in Amarillo in my opinion! Hand pressed patty, bakery bun, BBQ sauce that was sweet, and tangy, bacon so thick, you almost need a knife, and fork to get it apart! I doctored my burger very little. Just mustard, mayo and pickles, and hunkered down. This burger was huge! ½ pounders! The first bite was the best. Perfect temp, melty, stringy cheese, and the flavor was out of the park, good! Over all, if you want good service, great food, and a bit of old school Texas ambiance, this is the place. Will go back, if ever in Amarillo again!

I can’t believe there is not a 6 Star Rating just for this hometown Favorite! Fries are seasoned perfect right out the kitchen. Wings are nice and meaty. Burger is PHENOMENAL. Amy is AWESOME.

Exactly what you’d expect from a hole in the wall in Amarillo — in all of the best ways. Incredible burgers, good service, fair prices. I had the green chile burger and it was juicy and flavorful. Sister and I split the chili cheese fries which could have been enough for our meal alone! Loved it. Will be back on our next visit!

We love this place, it’s like walking 50 years into the past! Small, yet cozy. The Hamburger from Hell is great as well as the tray of cheese fries with green pepper sauce. Waitress was very friendly and accomodating. A fabulous experience.

Just stopped here on our way north and it was well worth it! Half pound burgers make for great portions for the price and the toppings are numerous. I tried the Green Chile Cheese burger and Mr G. Got the Burger from Hell and we shared a side of fries. Everything tastes great– just note they are cash or check only!

Very good burgers — large portions. Good beer selection. Wait staff was super friendly and even helped with some directions. Kinda off the beaten path — locals place —- very good for dinner after long day of driving.

Great burgers, love the atmosphere! Hasn’t changed since the last time I’ve was here 15 years ago. Well done for a great, unique, consistent burger with so many choices and options!

The Burger from Hell was decent, but hardly lives up to the name. Asked for it medium and received it well done. Also, they should not have served my onion rings 10 min before the burger arrived. Box is checked for this local favorite, but not overly motivated to return.

Mouth watering. So I’m a critique when it comes to my burgers. They made the burger as I ordered, medium rare. I like the additional option. Toppings on my burger were just right too. Fries tasted fresh. Service was good, a little flirtatious with different tables but it seems like the other guests didn’t mind.

Service: awesome Food: perfect. Rub eye cooked to perfection and hand-cut fries were delish! Drinks: free refills of deliciously gassy sodas and a TUB of beers to choose from… Literally… A tub! Loved it all!

No Credit Cards please! Love it! I was smiling the whole time! Coyote Bluff is exactly what Unilocal’ers look for in a small town. It is the kind of place people would drive by, but is is unique, delicious, fun and the service is an experience in itself. I this case the service is down home southern hospitality and Amy took amazing care of us. She help us feel right at home. I don’t think it matters what you get I am sure it is all good. Just for the record: — The wings were some of the best I have had anywhere. Their own take on buffalo sauce. Just perfect. — The chili cheese fries smothered and covered! Too good, this could kill your appetite, make sure you are sharing them. — Green chili stew. If I was going to eat light this would be my choice. Any hatch green chili lover should try this. — Green chili cheese burger. Lets face it can you ever have too much chili and cheese? Amy and the front end staff were amazing, the food was great and I will be back(with cash).

Put this place on your burger tour of Amarillo. Drawbacks — when it’s hot and the place is busy you put your name on a list the only place to wait is outside. But the wait is worth it. Small crowded dining area but the burger is big and worth the lack of elbow room. Friendly service and the food arrives hot and well prepared. Great tasting burger that has seasoning with plenty of burger veggies. The ooze factor is plenty good and gets the fingers well coated for some tasty licks. Beer is cold. Hit this one for the check mark. If you live here, go often.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Tuesday. We came at 4:30pm but to both of our surprise they would open at 5:00pm. We went to Walmart to kill time. Came back at 4:50pm, already there were people waiting for this place to open! We came in promptly at 5:00pm, two different parties came before us and three different parties came after us(this place fills up fast). By 5:30pm it was full. APPITIZER: ½onion rings ½ fries — very delicious onion rings! HIS: Green Chili Burger on White Bun: Mild green chili, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion HERS: Mushroom & Swiss burger on an Onion Bun: Fresh mushrooms, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion — the onion bun was a great touch PROS — delicious food — appeared on Food Network — returning costumers, waitresses know their faces & drinks when they walk through the door — even though the restaurant is small I love the look and feel of this place CONS — cash & check only — parking lot is dirt We would definitely come back as I love places like this. Apparently, this restaurant appeared on «Man vs. Food» because of «The Burger from Hell». Be aware the restaurant fills up fast and it’s very compact however, the booths are spacious.

CASHORCHECKONLY! This is literally a tiny runned down wooden shack on the side of the street. Small parking lot in the front. I wasn’t even sure if this place was opened or not until I saw that the 15 – 20 parking spots were completely full of cars. My friends and I walked inside, surprised to see the place was packed with people. The walls were full of decorations and neon lights. The Food: + Cheese Fries: Huge platter of crispy hot fries drenched in melted cheese with green chilies on top. You can add bacon for $ 2 more. + The Burger from Hell: It suppose to be the spiciest quarter lb burger(featured on man vs food). Patty mixed with habenero, topped with jalapenos, and drenched in their secret hot sauce. It honestly wasn’t as spicy as I thought it was going to be. I can’t eat crazy spicy things so for me to say«It wasn’t that bad» and I could eat the whole thing without drinking 20 cups of water means something. It was delicious though, and I appreciated the kick. + California Burger: Quarter lb burger topped with grilled onions, green chilis, and guacamole. It was delicious! No spice at all. Recommendations: + Get your burger on the Onion Bun! Overall, one of the tastiest quarter pound burgers I’ve had for only $ 8 !
