This place puts drive-in chains to shame!
Stopped here last year with a friend because I had read about this Amarillo treasure that has been open for almost 50 years. Brought my husband while we were traveling through Texas and again, the food was great!
This time I didn’t forget the root beer (in the traditional frosty mug)! The burgers are simple yet delicious but the cheese munchers are my favorite! Tator tots filled with cheese and jalapenos — yum! Forget the ranch to dip them in, they are delicious without it.
I will never be able to visit Amarillo without stopping at K-N Root Beer Drive In!
