The Ruffled Cup honestly has the BEST cupcakes in Amarillo! This is mine and my hubs favorite spot when we wanna splurge on our diet. The cupcakes melt in your mouth. They make specific cupcake flavors each day of the week, in addition to new creations, that never disappoint. My absolute favorite cupcakes are the ones with cheesecake baked into the center (turtle cheesecake, and black bottom.) The buttercream frosting is absolutely amazing! Their frosting is unlike any other and just perfect! The ladies at the front are just as sweet as the cupcakes! They are knowledgeable about all of the cupcakes and what they consist of.

So I am a big fan of a cupcake brand (that rhymes with crinkles) but the cupcakes from The Ruffled Cup are SO much better. The cupcakes are moist, the frosting delicious, and the choices of flavors are amazing! I wish I lived in Amarillo so I could eat the cupcakes everyday. They have an array of other desserts that I would love to try as well. Their store is beautifully done, and would be perfect for a baby shower or kids party. I just love everything about The Ruffled Cup, you should really give them a try!

We came in on the wife’s birthday. She loves a good cupcake. The best cupcake we have found in the area. We ended up getting an assortment and they gave my wife one free for her birthday. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter. The Irish cream was a very close second. This is a great quick date place as well.

cupcakes are very tasty & staff is always friendly. the blackberry is my absolute favorite! try the peach, pumpkin, & red velvet as well. frosting is always very good & cake is moist & flavored nicely.
I did have a party here last year & was very disappointed {especially for the price} so I don’t recommend using them for parties. try belmar for parties, they have it down over there & make every party super special.
as far as cupcakes go, they are hands down, the best.

maybe they were just opening but I went in there with my daughter and my two grandsons both are infants and in carriers. We were looking for cupcakes for a birthday party for an older grand daughter, This was in March 2014. there were no other customers in the store, a long haired skinny guy was putting lemon cupcakes on a rack, the case was empty other than that so I am guessing either they had a mega rush (not likely) or they threw away a bunch. There was a girl employee and the two were just talking away, ignoring us like we didnt exist. So after we looked around, waited for one of them to at least ask if they could help, which THEY NEVER DID, we left. F THIS PLACE, i thought, we went to BELMAR bakery across the street.

Friend bought us a box of variety cookies as a present. Before then, we did know about this place so this a review based on the present. The cookies were DELICIOUS! After 3 – 4 days, the leftover cookies were still moist and tasty. If we ever plan to pig out on cupcakes and cookies, we will definitely go visit their shop. Great place considering it is in Amarillo!

Fantastic cupcakes! By far, the best cupcakes in Amarillo. The variety is stellar and the flavors never disappoint. The only con is the price. I say this because after coming from Austin, Texas where one of the local favorites is a place called, Hey, Cupcake!, you get twice the size of the cupcake that the Ruffled Cup offers for the same price. Being the only decent cupcake joint around they are able to pull this off. But the price will never deter me from future purchases as I seem to go there more often than I should.

I have never had a bad cupcake at The Ruffled Cup. The frosting is amazing and their cheesecake is like tasting heaven. 5 stars for their friendly servers. They always seem very happy. I guess I would be too working around cupcakes!

First time customer. Their cupcakes did not disappoint. Great tasting frosting and cupcakes were so moist. They even offer gluten-free, which is awesome.
Definitely will be returning again.
***they let me know they are changing locations next weekend. They’ll be on Bell St. right across from Hobby Lobby.
