2 stars only based on average between dinner and breakfast. Dinner: 3 stars and breakfast 0. Dinner service very friendly! Food was decent. I had a beet salad with goat cheese and then the vegetable platter entrée. My bf had the chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps and claimed it was the wrong lettuce for wrapping: too difficult ft a sauce based filling. I couldn’t agree more if was a mess! Breakfast was intolerable. Showed up at 10am and the hostess was talking to us and other people at the same time and kept asking us to hold on «your waitress and coffee are coming» 10 minutes later the waitress asked us if we wanted coffee… ughhh yea we asked 10 min ago. Then said so «buffet or a la carte»? I said… are they refilling the buffet? I can’t pay for a buffet if there’s no fruit, bread, eggs or oatmeal available. She said«let me check with the chefs» 10MINUTESLATER asked us if we want buffet of a la carte! Seriously? I said«is buffet being refilled?» She said«let me check» with that my boyfriend got up and said this is crazy were out if here. Ruined our entire morning. He went to the diner across street for a salad and I went to the room and had a kind bar. Get it together people

***************************** 1448 *************************** It’s a casual restaurant at the DoubleTree Hotel Napa Valley. I was here for happy hour and had a few bites during my stay for Napa Valley Film Festival 2015. Angelica, Manuel, and Karla were all nice and took good care of us. I tried the calamari, veggies soup, veggies capellini, and chicken wings, all were good. Good service here at the bar on both nights, generous wines pour, reasonable mark-up by the glass, good selection of Napa Valley wines by the bottle. It was the service that made the different here.

Our server Anihi was excellent ! We started by splitting the butter lettuce salad. It was crisp and dressed lightly for a delicious start. My husband had the seafood parpadelle and said the curry was just right and shrimp was cooked perfect. I had the angel hair pasta and vegetable ragu which was excellent! Paired with a Lodi Zin and Napa Cab, all in all a great dinner.

I was staying at the Hilton and they gave me a free drink voucher for being a HHonors member. So glad I used it! This little place is great! The staff is so friendly and they have free wings and onion rings at happy hour! I didn’t eat those but ordered their shrimp bruschetta. It served scooping style with tomatoes. So yummy. I’m definitely gaining weight on this business trip! The service and staff make this place top notch.

Dinner here was like that episode of Restaurant Impossible, the one where the waitresses are the loudest people in the place. Food was adequate. A lot better places within just a few miles. Breakfast was only slightly better, but then again, how can you screw up a buffet. would not recommend.

I’ve eaten here many times while staying at the hotel. They have above average entrees. I had the Scallop sliders which were bacon wrapped with tomato and lettuce on a very tasty bun. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the size of the bun was too big for the scallops, too much bread. Flavor was excellent though.

The gnocchi and salads are delicious. Gnocchi is very light and fluffy and served with a delicious curry sauce. Good place to eat if you’re in American Canyon

Because any restaurant worth its salt should know how to make an eggless tofu scramble and not just serve a hack dish of chopped tofu with warmed veggies. And shouldn’t serve it with burnt bread that has messy droppings of cheese on it. Absolutely not worth ten dollars and should have suck with sides only –so for thirteen dollars I got served a hack breakfast. Not impressed for 2015.

Five stars for Alma the bartender! Three friends and I stayed at the hotel this past Friday night to celebrate a birthday. We used our drink coupons here to start our night out. Needless to say, Alma was wonderful and free drinks are always good! + The fresh popcorn :)

We had 2 bay coolers. Strong. Service was excellent. Now the food. Omg. Chef Marcos is awesomeness. Lightly battered and perfectly fried calamari and Shrimp bruscetta for apps and a new york steak for dinner. One of the best damn steaks weve had in our lives. So damn good and juicy. Perfectly seasoned and cooked with a great slice to it. Niman ranch beef really does taste different. We’ll be back to taste the filet!

The wait staff are wonderfully friendly here. We stopped in several times during our stay. Nice bar area, great Starbucks coffee, delicious blueberry muffins, good variety of dinner options.

So I was staying at the double tree here, thought i would give the restaurant a try for dinner. It was not good, let me ennumerate. The shrimp bruschetta — really shrimp ceviche(sort of) with slices of bread put next to it. Odd flavor, odd presentation, too soggy and too hot but too cold as well Lamb Burger — charred on the outside, raw in the middle. The fries were good. Gnocchi– my dining companion had this, i refused to touch it. Wine — not a great selection, «chilled» white was freeezzzzing Service — probably the strangest part. Greated by the bus boy? or was he a waiter? Limited selection of tables as a bunch«were dirty» Other waitress was friendly, but clearly new on the job, not much in the way of training. Go here if you are staying at the doubletree and don’t have a car, or a taxi, or legs to go anywhere else

We ate breakfast here twice while staying at the Doubletree and both times it was great. I had a specially prepared omelet both times and it was delicious. The service was really good and they had a nice spread of a buffet for breakfast including hot foods like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and french toast and cold foods like granola, cereals, muffins and an array of fresh juices. Check out the white swans with black necks while your there. They are pretty amazing looking animals and will«talk to you» if your lucky.

We had an excellent dinner at Gaia during our stay. Since it was a group of 15, we had a prefix meal. We started with an outdoor reception and had delicious hors d’oeuvres: mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese and skewers with grilled shrimp and pineapple Then our sit down feast began: *Beets salad: very large size and fresh, crunchy walnuts *Pasta with fresh mozzarella *Salmon with a miso glaze on a bed of spinach *Dessert sampler: panna cotta, flourless chocolate torte, berries Everything was delicious and fresh! Service was great. We also had breakfast here and it was good too. Highly recommended!!!

Didn’t eat here, stopped in for a quick drink before heading up to the hotel room. It was last call and there were actually quite a few people still at the bar. Had the blueberry mojito($ 10) and it was pretty good. Atmosphere was nice, lots of booths/tables and about 6 – 8 bar seats. They looked like they had a buffet setup earlier, I’m assuming they offer something like that for dinner. Would have liked to been able to try the food, maybe next time.

Came here with a party of 12 on a Friday night. Staff were excellent the whole time! We had 2 waitresses and both had an eye us the entire time… Literally! We could get their attention from across the restaurant with just eye contact. Food was good! Because we were a large group, we had a fixed menu. We had their wings for an appetizer. I expected sweet, but it was pleasantly spicy too. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chop. The salmon sauce was the same as the wings sauce. Luckily I liked the sauce! My husbands lamb chop was just ok to me. This is a nice spot that is conveniently located. OH, and they do not have a corkage fee… So bring your good wine! I look forward to returning soon, to try out food on their regular menu.
