Love this place !!! Never had a bad dish ever. We lived in Utah for 2 years and are back in San Diego now but if you’ve had So Cal Mexican food then you will absolutely love their food. Portions are Generous and the flavor is authentic to Southern California. This is not Tex Mex !!! This is West Coast :)

Went for take out breakfast on a Saturday morning. First time at the restaurant. I got the Chorizo my wife got the bacon. Pros, Delicious Cheap Fast Huge Cons, Too much meat int the Chorizo could have used more egg less meat.

You can’t go wrong with a little Beto’s action. You know your not getting a world class meal. But the grease bomb hits the spot. I usually get the rolled tacos and a carne asada taco. Yummy cheap Mexican food.

Where’s Pedro ever their breakfast burrito is 85% potato 5% meet 5% cheese and 5% eggs and that’s giving them too much credit I will never eat at this location again you should change your name to skimpes.

This location has the worst customer service I’ve never had a bad experience with a Beto’s until now. The only thing worth buying is a breakfast burrito, the hochata taste like 2% milk with ice, and the sauces were just diced up tomatoes I swear. Worst Betos ever.

So if you look closely at the sign, you’ll see that it no longer says Beto’s, it says«Bero’s»!! IMPOSTERS!(I know, it’s the same) But they recently changed to Bero’s and their breakfast burritos are more expensive now. They also don’t allow you to eat inside the restaurant late at night anymore. So I’d recommend getting it through the drive-thru and taking it to IHOP and eat it there.

Good value and basic quality for beto’s. My only complaint is this is probably the slowest shop on state street.

I have been to at least 25 Beto’s(and similar restaurants) and this has got to be the worst one by far. The lady working couldn’t even say hi when I walked in. Then proceeded to act bothered when I ordered. And the food is not good compared to other Beto’s. Huge let down

Betos are individually owned and operated. The state st AF store needs help with their Tamales! 2″ of masa ain’t the way to make a tamale! Other than that the backbone of the chain is the breakfast burrito! You can get it 24⁄7 and it’s all good(I’m partial to sausage, ham)

The food is ok, probably 3 stars. The nachos are good. But it is July and they refuse to turn on the A/C. It got up to 92 degrees in the restaurant. I sat directly below the thermostat which they had locked with a sign saying not to adjust. Funny position to take, to try to drive away customers like that! Also, poor kids selection.

Their breakfast burritos are awesome. Just make sure you are hungry when you order one. Their beef tacos are great. They drip grease, so if that bothers you, don’t get them, and ask yourself why you went to a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant if you don’t like greasy food. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get. And they’re open 24 hours so you can clog your arteries any time of the day.

This has been the most consistent betos ever! Love the breakfast burrito and everything else I’ve had has been good too. This location is the best one I’ve been to. The other ones have made me sick at some point. Always felt like I was playing Russian roulette with my bowels. Yikes! But not with these guys. They are the winners!

Food is ok. I really liked it when I was in college. But now I guess that I kinda got tired of cheap food. The meat quality doesn’t taste that good. But I can still eat it. I’d rather spend more and get something a little higher quality.

Love Beto’s breakfast burritos! Come here all the time for them. Average service speed.

I only come here for their breakfast burrito. The normal food isn’t the best. But… for over a decade, hands down their chorizo, ham, or, steak breakfast burritos are great… especially before heading up to the slopes or class back in the days.

I come from So. Cal and I don’t think there is much that compares tok the Mexican food there. I come to Beto’s when I am missing the Mexican food in So. Cal. It isn’t the same but it definitely feeds my craving.

If you live in Utah and you like Mexican food, you probably already know about Beto’s. If you don’t know about it, you should. This is a hole-in-the-wall type of place which offers solid Mexican fare without any frills. The burritos are generously sized, so come hungry! For a unique spin on the traditional idea of nachos, try the carne asada fries – I’m sure they aren’t very healthy, but they certainly are delicious. If you like the idea of Beto’s but you prefer a little higher quality ingredients along with slightly lower prices, head across town to Paco’s Tacos.
