I’ve only been here for lunches with coworkers. There is a pretty good collection of casual dining Mexican restaurants along the Wasatch front. They are Mexican in the same way all the Italian places are not really Italian. It’s American comfort food at its best. They are all pretty much interchangeable. That said, this one is better than many. The food is consistent, tasty, and they have good beer. I’m never disappointed when this place gets suggested.

Always a best experience. It’s been my favorite mexican restaurant for years. They are open on Sundays and serve beer and mixed drinks. Not too many places in Utah County you can have that kind of full service. I enjoy the burritos smothered in cheese or the chicken tacos. I think the prices are fair too. They can accommodate very large groups!!!

I’ve been going to Mi Ranchito for over 20 years. Since then, they’ve changed their chips, and they’ve opened up in American Fork. It was then, and still is, the best Mexican food around.

It’s easy to dismiss Mi Ranchito as an average, typical Mexican restaurant, much like dozens of others along the Wasatch front. But no matter how correct that assessment may be, I enjoy coming back here again and again. The menu offers hundreds of choices(or so it seems), the service is quick, the portions are generous and the price is very affordable. I really enjoy their complimentary house salsa – it’s thin and chunky. I often pour a whole bowl of it on my entrée. If you’re in the mood for some Mexican grub, you could do far worse than come here.

Basic Mexican food. Not much flavor with the refried beans, cheese enchiladas, chips, salsa and rice. I liked the shredded beef taco. Our server was good.

The margaritas are excellent and the food is for the most part well prepared and flavorful. The beef was a bit on the dry side for my taste in the enchiladas however the accompanying tacos were delicious. Make sure you bring an appetite as the portions are very large. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Mi Ranchito is pretty damn good! It’s not the best Mexican food in the world. It’s not even the best in Utah County. The food here is consistently good and very affordably priced, especially given the quantity and quality of food. Everything is cheesy, but not sickeningly smothered with the yellow stuff. The food is very Americanized, but at least they have shredded, not ground, beef. The service is super fast and very friendly and helpful. Need lunch? Go here! Dinner too, for that matter.

Disappointed by the carne asada but pleased by the camarones a la diabla the day after as leftovers. Being open on Sunday in Utah county and an urge for some rice and refried beans led us here. And if alcohol is your thing, try their michelada… it was the highlight of the night in my opinion… well, at least this lush’s night.

Good food. My son loves the chili verde. The tacos are great. Taco Tuesday? Very yummy all you can eat street tacos for $ 9.99. What’s better than that? Friday nights are difficult to get into some places, but not here. Careful though, I gave it 4 stars because a few of the servers are a little on the slow side.
