Our experience was just ok. We ordered brisket, pulled pork and ribs. We were told the ribs were tender and meaty; a stretch by all accounts. The brisket was dry but the pork was pretty good. We enjoyed the Cole slaw and sweet potato fries but found the portions to be quite small(the sweet potato fries were three dollars and contained 11 fries-we counted them). The potato salad and baked beans were below average. The service was fine but the food was hard to overcome. Overall, the quality of food left much to be desired. We won’t be going back.

The best barbecue in the area. Food is fresh and not dried out like many other places around here get more than you need for under $ 10 the environment is relaxed and carefree will be back again

BESTBBQINUTAHCOUNTY! Had the bbq feast and got ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and brisket. It came with 2 baked potatoes, 2 coleslaw, and 2 baked beans. we also ordered sweet potato fries & mac n cheese. We ordered the deep fried veggies for appetizers. For dessert we had the deep fried pecan pie… friggin delicious. Everything was absolutely tasty, juicy, & delicious. the service was very friendly and attentive. made us feel very welcomed. Very reasonably priced and well worth the money.10/10

Hum, I’m not sure where to start here. Let’s get the negatives out of the way and end on a positive note. 1-The sides were below average. The Mac n cheese was yuck and I had high hopes for the sides since I usually love the sides at good bbq restaurants. The baked beans and mashed potatoes were also not very good. Don’t go here expecting great southern sides. The dessert came very highly recommended and was decently priced but not very good. It was a big piece of deep fried pecan pie with not a lot of flavor and not served warm. Not something I wanted to waste calories on. The Texas toast wasn’t very good but I usually only like Texas toast if it’s used as French toast. Now, on to the positives. THEMEAT! Yummy meat. Delicious smoked turkey, yummy chicken, good ribs. The brisket wasn’t great. The only meat we didn’t have was the pulled pork. If you want good smoked meat(not brisket) go here. I wish they would do their sandwiches in buns instead of Texas toast. If you want an all around good meal with sides and dessert, don’t go here. Waiter was very kind a polite. Service was a little slow. Cool atmosphere.

Pig City BBQ is seriously the BESTBBQ place in town! Our family has been going there for years and would recommend it to ALL of our friends. The management and staff are just tops. The variety on the menu is just amazing and the bones just fall off the ribs. If you have to pick up your knife, they pick-up the check. It’s a clean, fun environment with real Memphis secret sauces and recipes. It’s a Utah gem!

Great ribs, a little stingy with the brisket on the Joes combo. The baked beans were pretty good. Overall a nice place with descent prices but miss the portions the previous owners dished out.

Best BBQ in Utah Valley. Period. I am orginially from Memphis, TN and I love BBQ. sadly, Utah Valley has really struggled with halfway decent BBQ… until now

This used to be Rib City… Now Pig City! Very poor! Bad BBQ … Cooked to oblivion! Took friends and had the meat feast of asst. meats and sides. We were all dissatisfied. Try somewhere else. Like sawdust. Sorry but true.

The atmosphere was good, but the food was rather mediocre. We had the bbq nachos for an appetizer, but they weren’t very cheesy and most of the cheddar wasn’t melted on the chips. The ribs I had were tasty and done well, but the sides were straight out of any restaurant, and probably delivered by food service without any enhancements. Basically there was nothing to speak of that made this place special. My wife had the pulled pork, which was over done and not very flavorful. We also paid extra for very plain and bland mac and cheese. It really was just meh.

Hi Just left this place. Everything was great and the service was excellent. I had rib-brisket combo. Their pecan pie was to die for. I have eaten at most of the rib joint’s in area and this by far is the best. Will be coming back soon

My family and I attended the grand opening party. It was the first time we have been here. It was a very fun atmosphere. It was very loud that night, but service was good. We were spoken to and greeted by the owner, manager, our waitress and other staff. There were great promotions that night and even little gifts for coming. In my opinion prices weren’t great, but not too horrible either. I liked the food. Onion rings and fries are great! Salad, mac and cheese and garlic toast are also good. Can’t wait to go back and try other things.

Ok, first time here since it changed from Rib City. It was ok, hubby had the rib and rib combo. It was good but maybe not quite as good as the Rib City ribs were but not bad. I had the pig city burger, not bad, liked the bbq sauce a lot hated the processed cheese slice. I will say the music is much much better, the atmosphere was good. The wait staff good, very attentive. We will be back to give it another try, this trip was ok.

Waaaay better than the previous incarnation, rib city. Had the brisket, pretty good, sauces are tasty. Staff seems a little new at the moment, but could be just this night. Friendly, in any case. Will return.

This place is excellent! The ribs are fall off the bone tender. French fries are crispy to perfection. The staff are friendly and efficient. The last time I was here was 2 weeks ago and I’m already planning my next visit.

Where to begin… Pig City is a great restaurant! Great food. Great employees. Great service. With a great BBQ place you expect delicious ribs, burgers, etc.(i.e. meat), and they go above and beyond delicious, but I cannot lie, the reason I can’t get enough of this place is their Cheesy Fries. They are worth every penny. Hands down best BBQ place around.

Pig city catered a company meal for us. We have had them do it a couple of times and it’s always been great. I’ve always been impressed with there pulled pork and baked beans. All round I would recommend them.

All right I’m not sure if I like the name pig city but I love the food course I was very hungry when I eat it this is a great place try it out and it used to be a rib city grill and I think I like this place even better. Their bathrooms are the cleanest bathrooms ever did see those toilets must’ve been put in today or something cause they’re so clean. Tim

Been here 3 times now and have never been disappointed. It’s NOT Rib City and as far as I’m concerned that’s a GOOD thing. It’s great to have a locally owned business with owners that actually listen to their customers. The Ribs are great, the brisket delicious and the fried pickles will blow your mind! Loyal customers at this point!
