Still about 5 dollars for a caramel apple but delicious and worth it, especially compared to the caramel apple competitors in the valley. Zapplez is also good about handing out coupons and supporting other stores at the mall.

Honestly I used to be a so so person about Carmel apples. Used to be. Once I tried Zapplz there is no fence sitting. All the flavors are out of this world good and combine to taste just delicious. The CHEESECAKEYUM!!! And their Apple Pie is making me drool. They also have Carmel popcorn and pretzels. You cannot go wrong. They are also a family run business, and come people support local. American fork needs more of that. Definitely worth a try, but you will be hooked I promise. Headed there again now… :)

The caramel apples are to die for! As a self proclaimed caramel connoisseur, I try caramel everywhere I go and nothing comes close to these apples. I have yet to come across caramel apples that are better than Zapplz. I look forward to tasting these apples and ordering around Christmastime. How much does it cost to ship to California?

I first tried Zapplz when they came down to Taste of the Valley and was very pleasantly surprised; In general I’m not the biggest fan of caramel, so I wasn’t expecting much. The slices were fantastically thin, so it wasn’t a challenge to eat them,(which is my usual gripe about caramel apples) and they had not only your traditional flavors but also a chili powder dusted apple which I was impressed to see and that my friend raved about. When we were in American Fork for our monthly Utah County Unilocal Meetup, I spotted the Zapplz storefront and at dinner most of the group decided to drop in here afterwards for dessert. We caught them just before closing time which can be super annoying for employees but they were not only super friendly, they chatted with us and were happy to make recommendations. I ended up with a peanut butter cup apple, which is a caramel apple(obvs) rolled in peanut butter chips with chocolate drizzled over it. With all that stuff I was a little intimidated to try and eat it but the guy behind the counter offered to cut it up for me which solved that problem. Everyone was very happy with their purchases and we ended up sitting on the grass outside to enjoy them. My only minor gripe is that the location isn’t great, if we hadn’t already been just up the street we never would have seen it, and that the shop itself, though nicely decorated, seems a little bit oddly proportioned. Like I said, it’s a minor gripe and would super not stop me from going there again but I do hope they’re able to move to a better location.

Best treats in town! I have yet to taste better caramel in my entire life. I think I am developing an addiction. I don’t know what it is about the caramel that makes so good, but no other caramel even comes close! I also found the staff to be very friendly. This place is worth a visit, if not just for the atmosphere.
