I decided to get my haircut while in town visiting family, and popped into this salon. Doug, the owner, cut my hair, and I was very impressed with the cut. Being from California, the price was on par with what I usually pay. I understand, though, that his price is on the upper end of customary for Ames. (Though he does have staff that offers a range of pricing.). I can tell you, it is well worth the price. With his skill, he would charge much more in CA. He is friendly, professional, and really knows what he is doing. I’m very pleased with my cut, and he was able to give me some pointers for some hair breakage issues I’m having. Splurge for the quality cut, Ladies, it makes a difference!
