Plentiful, tasty and inexpensive. The starter soup at lunch was the perfect way to kick off the meal.

Tasty meals at reasonable prices. My son and enjoyed the crispy pork wontons appetizer. The wontons were flavorful and crisp and the sauce was tangy. I had the Island Oasis green curry, which was nicely spiced and flavored with cilantro. I didn’t try my son’s pork fried rice, but he was quite happy with it and with his Thai Iced Tea. I hope we go again soon.

Horrible food, everything tastes like grease, no matter what the dish. Peanut noodles, not a peanut in sight, nor any peanut flavor. Penne de crème made with gross chewy orange cheddar cheese. Disgusting, threw my order away after it arrived in a smashed container, leaking everywhere. Would never ever eat here again. For those who think this food is good I shudder to think what else you’d put in your mouth. I’d give them a zero if I could. If you value your life, don’t eat this food.

wow! awesome atmosphere and awesome food of course! I love Thai food and this place does it right! and they have italian too, what?! Their butter parm pasta dish is delicious with tofu and mushrooms. My favorite is the basil fried rice with chicken. The owners are awesome! talk about being out there with the patrons, I don’t think there is anyone they DON’T know. great place for lunch and then again for dinner. highly recommended.

The food is good but the customer service is awful. Unless Zach is at the counter go to another spot. They have two females that work the counter and neither have an ounce of customer service skills. the smaller skinnier one can be nice once in a while but the heavier woman is always in a bad mood and has no business being the front person to the public. Just a piss poor attitude!

the wonton noodle soup here is amazing! had the lunch sized portion but the serving was still huge! the way they make wontons here is very unique and I enjoy the crunchiness. definitely a place I would come to again

Visited the place again after a long time… Food quality was Still the same. Came during the lunch hour on a weekend. Ordered the sunshine noodles and crazy pesto… Both without any extra meat. It was really good. all for some 15 bucks. Even came with a clear tofu soup. Service was quick too.

Been to this place on a visit to Umass. Nice little place with very good food. Tried basil fried rice, pad Thai and curry… Very well done with OK service. To top it off this place has frequent visitor program to encourage repeat visits. All in all excellent place to frequent for veggie lovers in town.

I’m glad I finally tried it after having lived in town for over five years. The décor was clean and bright and atmosphere informal. My seafood noodle bowl was delicious, very large portion and the thai tea was excellent. Did I mention very inexpensive? It’s a win win win

I enjoy this place a lot. Sure it’s not fine dining, but it’s a clean, the food is good, and the pricing is reasonable. This is a great place to come for lunch or a casual meal with friends. I like to come here for meet ups rather than coffee shops because it’s quieter, has better food, and a relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff are very friendly too. Never had a bad experience coming here. You do have to bus your own table and get your own utensils, but that’s the same deal as most informal restaurants. They bring out your food and drinks though, which is nicer than having to listen for your name being yelled out from a counter. My favorite dish is the Wonton Noodle Soup. So far their soups and rice dishes are the best. The Pad Thai was mediocre and I haven’t tried any of their Italian style noodle dishes. Stick with the Starter menu or any of the Rice or Noodle Soup dishes, and you can’t go wrong. Their Ginger Tea is also very good though sweet.

Delicious noodles and curries. Bowl of soup bigger than your head swimming with noodles, plump shrimp and fragrant broth. The fried wonton appetizer was so fresh and crisp. Nice little place with an informal atmosphere. Order at the counter and they’ll serve it to your table. One little complaint… the rest rooms are down a precipitously steep and narrow flight of stairs. Very friendly people and a nice little place for a tasty meal.

This is a safe bet in downtown Amherst. Not the best food around, but it is consistently good and reasonably clean.

Every once in a while when we are in the Amherst area we get a craving for Crazy Noodles. This noodle shop has been one of our Amherst go-to restaurants since we were in undergrad and we love to return from time to time. The meals here are decent and the prices aren’t terrible. Our favorite items on the menu are their chicken and broccoli noodles as well as their spring rolls. The spring rolls are cooked perfectly and the dipping sauce is delicious! The staff here is always polite and the dining area is comfortable. We continue to come back to this restaurant because the staff here really makes us feel welcome. Often they strike up conversion and make it a point to check in with us to see if we are enjoying the meal. In the end, the food here is pretty good but again the staff keeps us coming back.

I was pushed to write this review after reading the other negative reviews, and noticing how off-base they are. Crazy noodles offers both asian-style, and italian-style noodles. And both are really, really good, if you go in with the right expectations. Taste/dollar, there is nothing better in Amherst. From the italian menu, the Pasta Roma, the Crème de Penne, and the Crazy Pesto are all really good. My Indian friends especially love the Crazy Pesto, usually ordering it extra spicy. From the asian-style menu, the Pad See Yu, Pad Thai, and Mom’s favorite are all really good as well. In the case of all of these dishes, they’re not that fancy. It’s mainly noodles, with a little addition of protein and some vegetables. However, out the door, everything included, you’re going to spend less than 9 dollars. And if you don’t have a huge appetite, you’re going to have enough for lunch. One person said they’d rather go to Pasta e Basta. Personally, I think they’re crazy. You’d be spending twice as much there, and the italian food is better at crazy noodles. And one might want to compare crazy noodles to the new Thai restaurant in town, but again, you’re going to be spending a lot more money(since you have to tip) and the food isn’t any better. Personally again, I’d say it’s worse. Along with the food, the lady who works at the cashiers station is really nice, and always smiles and says hi to us when we enter. I like her a lot, and honestly can say this restaurant is NOT a 2 ½ star restaurant, as it’s currently rated on Unilocal

I love this place. The workers are friendly and personable, and the food is delicious and cheap. I enjoy their pad thai noodles, wonton soup, any of the curry dishes. I come every time multiple times on weekends a friend of mine visits because she is in love with their ocean spaghetti. They cater to what you want, I always alter mine to be spicy and they do it just right every time. Also, they have a punch card, so you can get free meals if you use the card.

This review is mostly for the yummy basil fried rice. I’m normally not a huge fan if basil, but this fried rice is bomb especially when you ask to make it spicy. The crispy wontons are also delicious! I wasn’t a huge fan of this place at first, but now that I’ve found my favorite dish, I definitely come by more often. Service is friendly, plenty of open seating to come with friends, and overall a nice environment. It’s nothing fancy but perfect for a casual lunch. I think the menu is a hit or miss, but I would recommend sticking with what you like once you find it.

I came here for lunch with a friend because we were craving some thai food. I got the pad thai and realized that it didn’t even taste like pad thai at all. It was very salty and peppery and the noodles were over cooked. The thai tea was cheap but it was more milky than usual. The seating area was big and spacious, you have to order and then seat yourself. Overall, I won’t be coming here again.

Wonton soup comes with fried wontons that are crispy like hell. Best sesame dressing with Asian shrimp salad! All noodles dishes here are quite decent. You just need to find the one for you. Taste varies from Red Devil to Pad Thai to Pad Mee Know to Mediterranean Lover to Mom’s Favorite to Sesame Noodles to Spicy Basil Beef, it’s likely you’ll find the true love only after you try some. I actually like the self service for a random eat-out. Not so cool for a date though.
