Franco’s Pizza

Decided to give Franco’s a try as it is one of many pizza places in the neighborhood that deliver. Placed my order and was told it would arrive in 45 minutes. After one hour and 15 minutes I called to be sure my order was placed. The employee who answered was very rude and annoyed about my inquiry. Explained that they were short on delivery drivers as if it was my problem. When I finally received my order it was completely cold. Had to reheat pizza I just ordered. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered a pepperoni sheet pizza for work lunch in the office today… it was yummy!
I’ve never heard GREAT things about Franco’s but this pizza really hit the spot. The sauce is delicious and the cheese was perfectly golden. Pepperoni slices weren’t overdone and there are plenty of slices to a sheet!

All I wanted was some Nachos Grande. That’s all. What I got instead was stale, soggy chips and disappointment.

My friend raved about this place, claiming it is the best pizza in buffalo. She loves doughy pizzas, so if you like that as well, definitely give it a try. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch & buffalo chicken pizza. Way too much dough for the amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Thin NYC pizza is more of my type, so I am being bias.

Solid four stars, the pizza is consistently very good, sweet sauce that you can’t find south of Robinson Road. lose a star for not having fresh mushrooms even though their ads claim «all fresh ingredients». Potato Wedges are great, wings are good, never tried the subs.

Waste of money!!! Do not get your subs from here. I ordered two subs to go and was very disappointed. The first sub was a turkey club. I was not given a choice when I placed my order to have it toasted or not. I wish they warned me, since they placed the roll with mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes on the sub into the oven. This made for mushy tomatoes, wilted warm iceberg lettuce, and warn mayo. The oven they toasted the sub in also dried out the turkey to the point where it was almost inedible. The second sub I ordered was a ham sub. I asked for mayo but got a completely dry sub… no mayo or oil or anything to help moisten the bread. The ham was tasteless and I ended up throwing away half my sub. My partner took a few bites of his turkey sub and threw his out as well. The worst part was that I waited 30 minutes for the workers to make the subs. Overall, very disappointed and will not be returning.

I’ve never actually eaten inside of Franco’s but I know that I love their food. It’s usually my go to for pizza and wings. The crust is the perfect thickness and they put just the right amount of sauce and cheese on top. I usually order just cheese and onion for my toppings because i’m not a huge fan of pepperoni… if you’re a huge onion lover ask for a double onion because they don’t put that much on, but it’s perfect for my liking. The wings are flavorful… crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Not my favorite wings ever but definitely not bad. The sauce isn’t too spicy so I actually order them hot here, but I love their BBQ wings even better. They also have subs, chicken fingers, salads, etc. All of the usuals for a pizza place. The reason for taking off a star is because they are a bit pricey. Also because if you’re ordering for delivery, expect to be waiting an hour for your food to arrive. The delivery service takes forever. so I just end up ordering for myself to pick it up. Conveniently for me, I only live 5 minutes away! However, great pizza!

Terrible service, racist people. I ordered a decent amount of food for delivery, and they accepted the order. 45 minutes later they called and said they «don’t deliver here». I asked what areas the deliver to and they said not here, I asked what distance they will deliver to and they said that it depended on what area, they said they don’t go to the «east side». They might as well just put up a sign that says they only serve white neighborhoods.

I placed an order on the Franco’s website and selected the location that is nearest to my house, that is the Franco’s location on Kenmore Avenue. However Franco’s very own website directed me to the Eggert Road store and informed me that the Kenmore Avenue store would not deliver to my house. After placing the order and receiving a confirmation email, I received a phone call from the manager of the Eggert Road store informing me that they do not deliver to my neighborhood. He explained that they would «do it this one time for me» but that any future orders that I placed would be canceled! Wow! What outstanding customer service!
I mean come on… It is their website that doesn’t work, and to get an unpleasant phone call really isn’t great customer service.

I must say the pizza here is pretty good as well as different. I don’t think this place is part of a franchise but I’m not sure so don’t hold me to that. This is the square cut pizza and of course you can get whichever toppings you would like. I don’t have any problems with this establishment.

So far 30 mins has past. — still waiting for our subs. Might want to put a manager with customer service skills on.

The pizza here is fantastic and incredible. Had a personal size pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and it was unbelievably good!

Ah Francos. The square pizza. Always delicious and always fresh. Boneless wings are also delicious and the order of them includes French fries. The wings are excellent as well. Usually able to grab some coupons to use in the mail. Also feel free to order online– no need to call in your order.

They have pretty good pizza, other food is not so good and bad customer service /​management. The pizza from here is good we get lunch here from work fairly often. I have tried other food from there (subs, etc) and have not been impressed with any of the other food. But, the worst part is the service! Orders are frequently confused or wrong, I’ve had my pick up order given to other people, and dealt with some very rude employees.

Yuck! Placed a delivery order for pizza and 30 wings. The sauce on the pizza was bland and the wings were fairly soggy. It was pretty sad that for almost $ 24 dollars for 30 wings they only included FOUR sticks of celery. Pathetic. Definitely will not order from here ever again.

Just tried these folks out — the subs were huge and just as we ordered them; the jumbo cookie was warm and soft; the onion rings were good but there were fewer than expected. Delivery was speedy! Thanks!

Franco’s is my favorite pizza maker, ever. I love the taste, the shape, the size of pieces… and they also make tasty chocolate chip cookies for dessert. This particular location is very well run, with excellent management, counter people, and pizza makers/​delivery people. It would be nice if it was a sit down restaurant, but it’s not, so you get your pizza to go… there are a couple places to sit in a small space both inside and outside, but it’s not a sit down restaurant.

If this was called «Francophone’s Pizza» then you’d have to call up and ask for «une grande pizza, s’il vous plait» with «fromage et saussicon» perhaps. But it’s not. So you don’t. But if it was. You would.
What to get: a slice.
General Franco, after fleeing Spain, came to Buffalo and opened his own Pizza joint, which much like his Spanish conquistadores, became a serialized chain taking over rival businesses and spreading across the region like a bush fire (but not like Bush, because firstly, the political Bushes are long gone thank goodness, secondly, the band Bush isn’t really having hits anymore, and thirdly, that other Bush is becoming more and more scarce these days too, particularly in Brazil, the USA, and, er, Spain. Which brings me back to…) Franco’s!
What a surprise! I had boycotted the Franco’s further down the Boulevard north of the 290 because they kept serving me cold steak tacos that were jellified like cat food inside, and their Pizza was either cold or burned, and so on, it just became a real let down. But little did I know there was an amazing Franco’s on Nicole Eggert Rd.
This place is the total opposite! Excellent service, delicious Chicken Finger subs (yum), maybe not quite as stellar as Avenue’s, but definitely worth recommending, and the Pizza, oh my word, this was one of the juiciest fluffiest, most delicious Pizza slices I’ve had in a long time! The Pizza is right up there with Imperial in terms of tastiness, and right onto my little directory of where to find the best Pizza slices in WNY! You should try it!
Seriously, it’s a pizza slice I keep going back for. It’s one of the best ones… very doughy and delicious crust, always served piping hot, the cheese and the pepperoni and sauce are all perfect… it is one of Buffalo’s top five for sure! Go and nom it and see for yourself! Oh, and it’s a square slice. But the shape is beside the point. The point is, it’s amazing.
