This place has dependably good steaks — and they are very tasty and well prepared. We go there fairly regularly, but the place is so popular that sometimes the wait can be an hour to an hour and a half. We don’t usually wait quite that long, but it’s not a deterrent to us going back another time to have a decent steak dinner. The service is top notch; the staff knows what they are doing, and they do it well. I do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Went for my wife’s birthday with the 2 kids. She wanted steak and so did my teen daughter and I wasn’t about to argue… Yum! It was PRIMETIME on a busy November Saturday night and the hostess told us 1 hour plus. We decided to take our chances(and it paid off). The wait ended up being 15 – 20 minutes perhaps they take a lot of call ahead seating? Initially, my wife was disappointed in the lack of specialty drinks but got her Pumpkin Head beer and loved the caramel sugar rim. The girls loved their prime rib, caesar salads. My wife loved the baked sweet potato. I opted for the sirloin dish and got the loaded baked potato. Skin and all not a crumb to be found on my plate. The garden salad was very fresh, chilled, and crispy, just the way I like it… so good. The bread provided was good. The waiter was very quick and efficient but seemed to be a bit unfriendly. Still gave him a decent tip. The manager came over and asked how things were. I should of mentioned the grossly wrong estimate but I didn’t… I’m glad they offer the kids meal… it was perfect for my son. Overall great value, good service, lovely time! We will be back!

I’d give zero if I could: on top of a not so great service experience, the waitress somehow lost our debit card between swiping it and walking back to our table… Their not so apologetic apology was to assure me that nobody there stole it and they would call if they found it! Tomorrow being Sunday, I can’t walk into the bank and withdrawal money, there’s barely enough gas to make it home, I’m supposed to be taking my family to the circus tomorrow and I have the majority of my bills automatically paid with that card so now I have to go cancel it and go through and change my payment info for all my bills, just a huge inconvenience

I have been to a few of these and the one in Manchester is inge of the best(Haverhill Ma is also really good) The food is always hot, and the drinks are cold. Although the bill was over $ 100 for 3 of to have some of the best sandwiches, apps, and drinks. Had we had just sandwiches it would have been much more reasonable. Overall a great

The wait staff always nice here. Steaks not so much. Always overdone. Ordered the porterhouse at $ 27.99 and so, so much pepper, it’s all I could taste. I’m I crazy or are their steaks frozen? Something seems off. Apps are good.

not much for chain steak houses but will always come back to Longhorns. food is always good and drinks are reasonable. had the Porterhouse for two and was perfect. Best impression was the manager(Bill) came over to say hello and asked«did we get it right». not something you see much anymore, but he walked around talking to just about all the dinner guest.

lunch recently, sat at the bar, pretty busy place and they do a lot of take out business… ok the music background was awful, too loud and wrong kind of music(imho)…drinks were decent and not too expensive, calamari appetizer very generous and good(but no legs so it looked sort of pre boxed), burger and salad were both very good and service was very good… so a nice experience…

The food and service are always on. We’ve been in several times and the servers are always professional, but this evening Elyse was spot on anticipating our every need. We will be back!

I am usually not a big fan of chain restaurants but I had never been to a Long horn steak house and thought I would give it a try. The atmosphere was nice and everyone seemed very friendly. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated, but I expected that being a Friday Night. Our waitress was great! We ordered drinks and they came very quickly. I am kind of picky when it comes to ordering mixed drinks. Nothing worse then small overpriced weak drinks. This was not the case. Pint glass of Jack and coke and was not weak by any means, and the price was far. We ended up getting a meal deal for $ 39.99 which included an appetizer, 2 salads, and 2 entrées. Plus you get free fresh bread. We were pretty much full before we even started the entrees. The steak I had was perfectly cooked and my girlfriends chicken was very tasty. I was definitely happy with the experience, and its probably the only chain restaurant I will look forward to going back too.

Went here for a work outing we ordered bunch appetizers. I really enjoyed the wild west shrimp, texas tonion and buffalo firecracker wraps. The stuffed mushrooms were good too. The shrimp and lobster dip was just ok. Service was good all together can’t really complain, good place for a group outing.

Not a huge fan of chain restaurants, and the last time we came here we were ignored for 15 minutes after being seated, but my husband won a gift card @ work and we had a coupon, so we went back. The service was good but my Caesar salad was drowning in dressing and much of the lettuce was pale w/brown edges; not very appetizing. It looked like it had been prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge. I ate about a third of it and pushed it to the edge of the table. Also, they have become more stingy with the bread. My bacon wrapped sirloin, however, was excellent; very tender and cooked perfectly(med rare). The Mac and cheese is very tasty too. My husband had the strawberry and pecan salad and sirloin, both if which he enjoyed. Overall okay but nothing spectacular.

Always a good meal. The steaks are cooked perfectly. The bone-in-ribeye is my favorite. Decent prices, good service.

The food is the same as any other Longhorn. Tasty, decently priced, and on the meatier/greasier side. I enjoy it enough to visit now and then. Our server seemed frazzled, and kept us waiting when we needed to order/pay. We couldn’t even get a drink refill. And the food took a long time to arrive. However, it was a BUSY Friday night(there was a crowd waiting outside the door), so we expected the wait. The managers/owners were very friendly. They were constantly present around the restaurant, taking with customers or cleaning a table if needed. One personally apologize for the wait, and then genuinely thanked us for waiting/coming. Other staff held doors open or greeted us warmly. DO make reservations, and expect slower service than other Amherst restaurants.

This place isn’t great and it’s not bad. I suppose it’s the best of the«steakhouse chains», if you will, but that’s not a crowded field of winners. Like all metro-chic restaurants these days, the lighting is so dim you expect the Ghost of Christmas Past to join you for aperitifs. It’s also on the crowded side(furniture and space, not people) and has that faux-beefstock cheesy factor in the extreme. The wait-staff is decent, though, even if the menu selections are predictable and surprisingly limited. They do a better job with sides and veggies than any of the other chains do and their cuts of meat are prime. I love the way they do steak and chops and, if that’s what you’re in the mood for, you’ll love it. My steak was perfectly done and not the least bit dry, and the spices were exceptional. If you’re not a meat and potatoes person this is not the place for you. If you do come… bring a flashlight.
