Pros: Large selection of a lot of things. It’s a craft store so yarn, felt, pipe cleaners, beads & findings, foamies, fine art supplies, Crayola, Melissa & Doug, American Girl, dollar & up bins, Smencils(eco-friendly scented pencils made from newspaper), clay, stepping stone kits, craft kits for kids(like knitting, crocheting, etc), embroidery stuff, fake flowers, vases, frames, scrapbooking, stickers, organizational craft stuff, posters, magnets, craft paint, Modge Podge, etc, & seasonal stuff. If you don’t have a coupon or don’t have the Michael’s app on your phone the cashier will ring in a coupon for you anyway if you ask. Cons: Their craft selection is better than Jo Ann fabrics, of course, but some of the things are more expensive here than there(a bag of beads at Jo Ann’s would be $ 3.99 but the same beads here would be $ 4.99). It’s a chain store, so you’re at the mercy of someone making maybe $ 7.50/hour, & if they don’t care about customer service, too bad. Rarely people are friendly, sometimes they’re just polite, but I’ve never had a rude cashier here.
