Dropped off my iPad Air 3÷2÷16, 11:30am. I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I said I’d be back tomorrow to pick it up. Went back 3÷3÷16, 1:30pm, more than 24 hours later. They hadn’t started it yet. Reason? It was placed on the ‘done shelf’. The manager offered me $ 10 off to have it done– in another 45 minutes. I use this iPad as a Consultant and needed it for a presentation at 2:30pm that day. My billable rate is $ 125 hr, so it seemed reasonable to ask for the fee of $ 120 to be waived. No go. ‘Manager’ didn’t seem to care and pushed my iPad across the counter, saying he won’t even fix it. I know Batteries and Bulbs on Channing in IF costs less, and their customer service is exceptional, especially their tech Allen. I will never return to iRepair in Walmart. They don’t know what they’re doing, they don’t do what they say they will, and they don’t care about customer service. Big disappointment to me personally, and made me look bad– and unprepared– professionally.
