Good food, great service and really, really average margaritas. Tried a Cadillac and all I could taste was lime mix. Gave polite feedback on margarita and was rewarded with the bill and a stunted smile. Will come back for food and switch to beer next time.

The Margaritas are refreshing and delicious. The staff extremely customer oriented. Had Tamale, Chile Relleno, Burrito. Very tasty. Portion was big and price was right. Very clean premises. Will definitely be back!

I have been so disappointed in the past with the Mexican food in this town, but now I have a reason to celebrate. This place is fantastic. The best Arroz Con Pollo I have ever had. Large, juicy pieces of chicken in a perfect sauce with the right amount of veggies over rice. If a place can make this dish this good, then everything else they make must be fantastic. You must try this place. You’ll be as hooked as I am

Real Tequila is our favorite restaurant in town! The staff is always accommodating and the food is fantastic. My personal favorite is the chile Colorado. Whereas many Mexican restaurants use cooking methods that result in chunks of chewy meat, the chefs at Real Tequila cook their meat long enough to develop the flavors and texture. The recipes are fantastic. I would recommend ordering one of the pork dishes… The waitstaff is happy to make recommendations.

My whole reason for stopping here is that it looked more authentic than most of the Mexican joints around here. I like the bright colors and the name itself seems like something I’d see at a local restaurant somewhere in Texas.
The food is nothing to write home about; run-of-the-mill beans and rice and more or less bland food. I only had the chicken so I can’t speak for the other meat options but it didn’t taste like much whether it was in the tamale or the enchilada.
If you’ve got a hankering for Mexican food and are in the area there are worse places you could eat at but don’t expect anything fantastic.

We picked a friend up from the ferry and were all famished. We stopped in hoping to make it before closing and thankfully we weren’t turned away. Ice cold beer and the chicken fajitas were fantastic! Highly recommend stopping in for a delicious bite!
