We have been involved with Burger Monster for a friend’s wedding reception and our own rehearsal dinner. Both times Burger Monster was an absolute hit! Great food, fun atmosphere, awesome service and easy to work with people. Everyone is still talking about the awesome food truck at our rehearsal dinner. We are such big fans we’re hoping to have them back for a third time!

Burger Monster is a regular at a food truck meetup near my work, so I’ve had it a number of times, and I have to say they run a really solid operation. Here’s why: — The burger patties. These are LARGE, between 1/3−½lb I’d guess. They don’t skimp on the meat. They’re also seasoned well, flavorful, and fairly moist even though they’re usually cooked to a solid medium. — Service. As far as food trucks go, Burger Monster is insanely consistent as far as moving their line and getting their orders out in a reasonable time. Other foodtrucks at the meetup vary wildly in quality and speed. These guys are pros. — The Killer Potato — Who doesn’t like hash browns on their burger? This burger is a little more reasonably priced than the other specialty burgers, super tasty, and super filling. I get it with OC sauce instead of BBQ sauce and I think it’s much better that way! I’d say the only reason they don’t get 5 stars is that I think their fries are a little lackluster. The Minion Fries are tasty, but i think they could use better quality potatoes as a base, and I’m just not a huge fan of Ranch on Everything. If they had some more compelling sides as options, they’d definitely get another star!

I tried a Burger Monster burger out of their food truck outside of the ambsn bazaar here in San Clemente this weekend and… WOW! This was seriously one of the best burgers I have had in a long, long time. I opted for the basic burger(I forget what they call it, but it was simply a burger, cheese, and ketchup), but it was anything but average. It was freaking delicious, cooked just right, with warm melted cheese on a quality brioche bun. I don’t know how to get too in-depth about what makes a great burger, but I can tell you that this one sure did hit the spot. It was delicious, and the owner of the truck was very cool and good to talk to. I’d definitely and gladly enjoy another Burger Monster burger. Soon would be great.

I tried a new menu item that they were trying out. The«El Cucuy Fries». It’s some of the best fries I’ve ever had! It’s pretty similar to Alberto’s super fries, but waaay better!(And you know how good those super fries are!)

This was one of many food trucks at Truck Squad Fullerton. My main meal was the carnivore burger. All sorts of flavors for the carnivore in me. That first bite into the warm burger was amazing! The bun tasted fresh. The one thing I didn’t ask is if they cook to order. I usually like my burger cooked medium, but they served it up well done. Even though it was well done, it was one juicy burger. It was a great balance of carnivorous flavors, I really enjoyed every bite. And… I had checked in after I made my purchase and saw the free can of soda offer! I showed the guy my check-in and I was good to go for a can of pop! Thanks homie!

Ordered the«nibbler» for a youngster. Unfortunately, the burger was bit undercooked. Showed the staff and was met with nothing but PROFESSIONALISM on their part. Even though we were just expecting the burger to be cooked a little more, they replaced the entire order and supplemented it with fries. The icing on the cake was that they gave an unsolicited refund.

Folks are already asking about this years show and are excited to hear Burger Monster will be there again. Thanks for the good service and great burgers!

My 5 star review is in terms of Food Trucks. The burger I got was really delicious. I ordered the Werewolf and also Minion Fries. The beef for the burger was seasoned perfectly and cooked just the way I like. When I comes to burgers I’m very picky, and I have to say I’m impressed with this Food Truck. Definitely a fan now.

Carnivore fries are bomb. BUT I waited at least 20 minutes for fries which was pretty annoying since my other food got cold. Several orders of fries came out before mine — each taking quite a few minutes in between. I would suggest a more efficient process such as frying several orders when you get them and then adding toppings. That way I could get my fries in a more reasonable time. I swear — they must’ve been hand chopping those fries for them to take that long! But they were quite good and I’d probably order them again. Next time I’ll order those first then spend 20 minutes browsing other trucks.

Spotted their food truck before I got my lunch so I came closer and had a peek on their menu. Everything seems promising, so I ordered the Mighty Melt. It was kinda interesting at first, I didn’t know how to describe the taste because it was very new to me. Everything was fine, I had a great lunch.

Very average for a food truck. I ordered the Minion Fries and the American Werewolf burger. The Minion Fries were pretty good, but nothing too special. Ranch, cheese, bacon, and green onions… I wish the bacon was better quality, it was a bit dry and thin. The cheese also wasn’t melted on top, so I had to stick them in the microwave for 30 seconds. This made the fries a bit soggy sadly. The Werewolf burger was just a plain burger with their«OC sauce», which was just Thousand Island. I wish they did something to the sauce to make it theirs instead of just claiming Thousand Island as some special«OC sauce». Maybe mix sriracha and Mayo? Or something more creative. Also, they only give you 2 pieces of onions which is like a strip, but I don’t think it was cooked long enough or maybe too long since it was so thin and dried out. This truck definitely has potential, the other burgers are pretty creative. However they need to work on quality and do something with their«OC sauce» to make it theirs.

Burger Monster was at my work complex during lunch so I decided to check em out. Originally the list stated that something else was gonna be here so I was quite surprised to see Burger Monster. I glanced at the menu and ordered the Carnivore and a side of Minion Fries. Service was decently ok. The food was prepared in about 8 minutes max and I was back at the office to enjoy. The carnivore was strictly all meat. There was not a hint of veggies at all. The patty itself was just ok, I wasn’t too particularly fond of the taste. The sriracha blend didn’t add much flavors as I had anticipated and their sauce was just ok to me. The pastrami on top didn’t give out much flavors as I had originally thought it would for the burger. Overall it was just average to me. Then I tried the minion fries and was hooked back in. The fries were covered in green onions, large bacon bits, and sour cream all of which gave great texture and flavor to the meal. My biggest surprised was the fries were actually quite crispy still and nowhere near soggy. Overall its a decently nice food truck. I’d definitely skip the burger next time and go straight for the fries. The American Werewolf burger, however, did look quite appealing so I might give it one more go round.

The herbivore fries were best fries I’ve ever had. The Mighty Melt was pretty good too. Hopefully they’ll come back to my office building again.

Following a very disappointing meal last week, the owner of Burger Monster reached out and convinced us to give them one more try to make up for the bad experience we had. So we decided to order the Attack of the Killer Potato Burger and their Minion Fries. We were blown away with how good this burger was… taste and size wise. My belly was as happy as a hungry ass kid eating a pie! This was the kind of experience we expected the first time coming here and they delivered!

This is a long over due review. I used them for my lil ones 1st birthday party 10⁄14. They were easy too book, Thomas was super helpful is suggesting a menu. They showed up on time and set up everything in an organized manner. Also, the vegetarian burger was soooooo good. I am looking at other caters for the birthday party again and it looks tricky. I wish I could use them again and again. :)

Between this place and Toro Burger, I’ve got my bases covered in terms of burgers. I was at Free Comic Book Day at Comic Toons and Toys and this truck was outside serving the crowd. Fast service, and not too pricey. What more can you want? Oh right, deliciousness in a bun, which is exactly what I got. I tried the American Werewolf Burger and the Carnivore Fries. Both were so good. The burger was so juicy and cheesy, I loved it. I would have preferred if the onion was cooked a little more, but the crunch was a very welcome addition. The fries were piping hot and crispy — just the way I like it. A little too much sauce, but it was delicious nonetheless.

Burger Monster is awesome. I had the Carnivore(Pastrami topped burger) and my sister had the American Werewolf(classic style cheese burger). Both of them were absolutely *AMAZING*. Everything was cooked down to a science. The Pastrami on my burger was tender and not too chewy like Pastrami can be. The bun was delicious and not too tall that you can’t fit your mouth onto the burger. Patty was juicy to perfection, with the right amount of cheese on top. Absolutely worth the money you’ll spend on their burger. I didn’t have a chance to try their fries, but hot damn! did they look good. Eat Burger Monster. You won’t regret it.

I’ve seen this truck several times but NEVER tried it. It wasn’t until some Unilocal buds mentioned how GREAT the burgers were and gave me some suggestions that I FINALLY broke down and tried them! I ordered something with Blue Cheese in it and got it cut in half! I find that the gourmet burgers these days can be a bit messy or are stacked PRETTYHIGH making it a little hard to eat! That coupled with no table to sit at I wanted to be able to manage this burger as I sat on the ground or curb to eat it. It didn’t take any time for my burger to come out! I was pleasantly surprised that it was FULLYCOOKED and NOT moo’ing at me since I hadn’t told them how I wanted it cooked! We were ALREADYOFF to a GREATSTART! I found a seat and commenced to taking a bite and OMG! DELISH, YUM, YUM, YUMMY! It didn’t have as much blue cheese on it as I wanted but the amount was PREFECT because what I wanted was probably TOOMUCH and would have ruined it for me! The bun was SUPERDUPER soft, plus they toasted is a smiggy bit. The meat was cooked to PREFECTION and REALLYJUICY but NOTGREASY and NASTY and soaking into the bun. I HATETHAT! If you’re an avid Unilocaler and have the app on your trusty not so smart phone you’ll get a FREE(my favorite F-word) drink with your check-in. Now the kicker is that this is a FOODTRUCK and NOT a brick and mortar and most of the time I CAN’T CHECKIN which is SOOOANNOYING, especially when other Unilocalers can and I am standing right next to them! What gives? Sorry I digress. I told the guy taking my order that I was not able to check in and he let me have my FREEDRINK anyway. Woohoo! I was able to wash my burger-turger down with something NICE and COLD! I will definitely be back to this truck when I see them again and try something else!

I believe I ordered an American Werewolf(not entirely sure because the burgers had different names to match the event I was attending), and Minion Fries. While on vacation I had burgers from In-and-Out, Five Guys, a gastropub called Chapter One, and this food truck. Burger Monster’s burger was by far the best, even beating out the fancy gastropub burger. Amazing stuff, especially considering it’s fast food. Overall great balance of flavors and textures, patty was cooked just right. Bun was to die for, meat had notable flavor(not sure if it was the cow, the seasoning, or both). It’s definitely greasy, but it tastes too good to feel guilty over.(Can’t say I feel the same after eating a Five Guys burger, alas). Minion fries were the same way… Very decadent, greasy… I briefly considered not eating the whole thing because I didn’t need the calories… then I ate it all anyway. Zero regrets. Staff were prompt and friendly for how busy they were, no complaints. Will definitely track this truck down next time I’m in town.

Had a mighty melt burger at Cypress food trucks day. The price was reasonable and the quality, portion of the burger was excellent. Meat was juicy and fresh, not overly seasoned. Crispy light tempura battered onion rings and thick crispy bacons topped with melting cheese in between brioche buns. I liked everything about the burger and I would love to follow the truck to enjoy other flavors, portion was big enough for me to share it with my hubby.

Another burger truck. I’ve had better burgers from other trucks and also have had worse ones. When I got to the ordering window, five people were waiting for their orders. From the time I ordered to the time I received my burger it took about 15 minutes. I ordered the Big Blue Meanie. This burger was covered in blue cheese, spinach, ranch, bacon and avocado. On the bottom of the burger was a bed of tortilla chips. For me some things worked well and other things not as much. They really covered it with plenty of melted cheese, giving it a bold flavor that I liked, and the bacon gave it some delicious smokey taste. But the blue cheese pretty much overpowered everything else. I could visually see the avocado but couldn’t really taste it. I was really anticipating the crunchy tortilla chips but they were made moist by the burger and other ingredients and lacked any crunch at all(plus there were not very many anyway). The bun brought nothing taste-wise to the party but at least it was hearty and did not disintegrate. I just hate it when a burger bun falls apart and your hands are dripping with condiments as you struggle to eat it; this bun admirably held everything together. Liked it but didn’t love it. But I’d eat at this truck again if it was convenient.

Free drink with check in — only problem, is the Unilocal lists their location in Anaheim, and I was in Ladera Ranch(Summer Concerts in the Park). I just showed them the offer and wasn’t questioned. It was Fan Halen or the Van Halen cover band playing at Founder’s Park in Ladera Ranch. Several food trucks showed up for the final concert of the summer but I chose Burger Monster. I had heard a lot of good things about Burger Monster and they didn’t disappoint. Went with the Mighty Melt and an order of the Herbivore Fries. It was the busiest truck so the wait seemed a little long but when I sat down and took my first bite, the wait was worth it. A few people around me commented that it looked good. I told them to leave me alone because I was eating … joking aside, I told them it was tasty and that they wanted to place an order, make sure to show them the Unilocal mobile app and to get in line right away before the concert started. I enjoyed the burger though to me, it was a little on the small side. But add the order of fries and it was enough food for me — adding my free drink and some adult beverages for the evening and I enjoyed the concert — fat and happy.
