This is my favorite Hawaiian Bbq Franchise. This store owner not only takes pride in the upkeep of his store he greets everyone that walks through the door with a smile! All the staff can be said to match his enthusiasm! The food is fresh and absolutely consistently delicious!

If you’ve ever been to the islands, you’ll realize this is not«authentic» Hawaiian food but it’s pretty dang close! Everything here is tasty but I have to mention my favorites. Spam Musubi(2 for $ 3) what a deal! Loco Moco(half and full order) Kalua Pork This particular location is usually not very crowded and the cashier seems to be pretty friendly. Give them a try.

I have never written a Unilocal review in my life. I don’t feel I have the qualifications to critique food or judge other people’s behavior. But this one hit me hard. I have been coming here for over five years, and really enjoy the food. I have never checked the Unilocal reviews, because I order the same thing, see the same people. I hadn’t been in about 6 months, and decided to check Unilocal reviews. I should have listened to those saying to move on. I thought, «this certainly would not happen to me.» I called in an order, waited over half an hour after I arrived at the restaurant. Sitting in front of the manager, I politely let him know I was dissatisfied and wanted my money back. He said, «no problem.» Made no attempt to fix my order, no acknowledgment of the mistake. He did make a number of excuses, one of them being that, «we have over 250 people walk through this door daily, this is what happens.» It didn’t happen with the previous owner whom I enjoyed giving my business to. He took no responsibility for any part in why I had to wait almost an hour for food that I called in. When I had asked to talk to the manager, my food still wasn’t ready. There is an L & L off of state college in Fullerton that I have been frequenting instead. I work in property management and have ALOT of tenants in the Anaheim and surrounding area. Without fail one of the last questions they ask is for recommendations for food. You not only lost my service Sunny,(which I’m pretty sure you thought it would just be me by your dismissive behavior) but you lost many prospective customers.

Really welcoming and friendly workers. The food is what you would expect from L&L. Hey, you came here, so you know what you’re getting, and it’s good(everyone has their own preference but I like L&L) lol. That Chicken Katsu Masubi, plus can’t go wrong with anything with rice, like the short ribs.

Typically L and L are good places to eat but I feel that this specific location is shady and not worth going to. I always get garlic shrimp but when I went to open my garlic shrimp I got 7 pieces of dehydrated mini shrimp what a rip off. This location sucks ass.

Awesome customer service! The owner(?) would engage conversation with the customers. One family next to me didn’t like what they had so he gave them a new one. He would come up and check up on us and ask how we’re liking the food so far. I love L & L’s spam musubi and their curry katsu combo. All L & L’s maccarroni salad is the best. The only difference from this store to other L&L’s is that the teriyaki sauce is thinner and watery and milder to the point of not knowing it’s teriyaki sauce. The water cup is smaller. But their service is better. They also have sushi. 4 stars because their menu is so confusing. Other L&L has easy to read but from here I had to ask a lot of questions and I still didn’t know.

This is my closest L&L and I love it. I usually get Chicken Katsu or curry and I’m always satisfied after. The Katsu sauce is OK. This place also sells sushi! It’s not amazing but if you’re craving it isn’t bad. The people that work here are friendly too.

In a place where good Hawaiian seems light years instead of miles away. You can count on the Count of Katsu, to save the Tsunami in your Johnny. The choices are nice, portions are nicer and Hawaiian Anaheim cuisine is here to stay.

I have a deep connection with L & L as this was the first Hawaiian restaurant I’ve eaten at many years ago. I still think they have the best Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. It’s lightly marinated and tender. Goes perfectly with their rice and mac salad. Of course it requires the mandatory srirachi sauce. Great value. The interior here isn’t the cleanest or modern, but I get my food to go anyways. It may take a long time to get your food, so call in your order ahead of time.

I love coming here. Every time I walk in the door they Greet me right away and they’re very helpful/nice. I’m a big fun of hawaiian food and I got to say my favorite thing there is the chicken Katsu, I think that’s like everyone favorite. Also what I like about this place is that they have brown rice! I still haven’t tried out their sushi selection but I’m going to try it soon and hopefully there good.

Love the place. Service was always great. As a regular the cashier Mariah always remembers my order and always greats me when I walk in the the with«Welcome to L&L, you looking to get your the usual mini Chicken combo, double Mac and bread or are you looking to try something new today» great customer service I think. The new owners are also trying to keep this locations food the same. Something I was hoping would continue since I’ve been coming to this location for almost 10yrs. Great work Mariah and the New Ownership. Sorry not sorry Julliette S. but asking if you want anything else, isn’t a bad customer service.

The service was good, but since they change management the food quality is not the same. The katsu sauce that we got was water down. Alot different from before. Macaroni salad and ribs didn’t taste the same either. They used to give one free extra sauce without no charge, but now they start charging. We didn’t mind paying except it’s not even worth it to pay extra for a water down sauce.

The service makes it. When the owner makes sure you’re taken care of even after closing, it’s what I call going above and beyond. Thank you!

By far the worst L&L I’ve ever been to. The short petite Mexican girl has a stank attitude. When I was grabbing some teriyaki sauce she kept coming by and wiping down the counter with her sanitizer rag. RUDE! Not to mention our plates were all half-full. You most def don’t get your money’s worth at this place. I won’t be coming back here and it’s unfortunate because you don’t find a lot of L&L BBQ spots in Anaheim and I’m not far from this one. This place either needs new employees or needs new management for allowing the poor service. Lol I’m done.

Quality of L&L has really gone done over the years. Their chicken katsu has become more breading and less chicken. The bbq chicken is also becoming more and more paper thin. I came here today and paid $ 10 for a bbq combo of chicken bbq, short rib, and katsu. I remember they used to give a lot of food. Not sure if it’s just this location but the serving was pitiful. One short rib, 3 thin bbq chicken pieces, and about 6 chicken Katsu strips. I also said no macaroni salad and no cabbage, just rice. Usually they’ll put rice in place of the cabbage but they just didn’t put anything where the cabbage usually goes. Pretty stingy with food. My recommendations are to skip L&L and try another hawaiian bbq place. A lot of other hawaiian bbq places give a lot more food with great quality.

Super bummed. I’ve been coming to this location for 5 years but I think the cook or ownership has changed. The teriyaki sauce they provide on the side no longer tastes the same. The macaroni salad was absolutely disgusting. My husband and I used to love the mac salad here but this time it was just drenched in mayo and had no flavor. My husband took one bite of the mac salad and didn’t eat any of it. All the food we ordered just didn’t taste as good as it used to.

I don’t know where to start. Bad service, long time waiting for the food, and the food is not good at all. I ordered chicken katsu, and bbq beef with rice and macaroni salad. Honestly, I didn’t finish my food, I just ate ½ of it. And thanks God I did. About 2 hours later, I had stomachache, very painful abdominal cramps. Follow that I was in the bathroom with diarrhea. I won’t come back. I don’t recommend this place.

I loooove Hawaiian BBQ. The food was good that’s the only reason why I’m giving this 2 stars… The cashier was soooooooo rude when I ordering. Mariah, please let me finish my order before you keep interrupting me with an «okay, anything else?» Every single thing I ordered was followed by that. I also asked a question for what came in a combo & looked at me like I was stupid… Step that customer service up.

There’s nothing special about their menu but the prices are awesome. The $ 3.99 for 8 piece California Roll deal is what brings our family back to this place every time we get a craving for sushi, katsu, and bbq. The service the other day could have been better. I walked in ready to order but a customer standing up front at the counter was too deep into her conversation with the cook in the kitchen. I had to wait for the two to be finished, which was at least 5 minutes, before I was given a chance to order. I don’t usually come here due to the combination of mediocre food and horrible service I’ve encountered during previous visits to this store. Not even the $ 3.99 sushi deal can save you now. :(

Tried the chicken katsu with a side of rice and macaroni salad and spam masubi! Super yummy! Service was great! Maria is awesome!
