Mimis Cafe Anaheim

Mimi’s was clean and family oriented with a friendly staff and great food. LORI who was our server was so upbeat and kind to us. She took a moment to explain the menu and made everything sound delicious. We ended up ordering the corn chowder (which I regretfully should have ordered the bowl size instead of the cup size!), the French onion soup, chicken pasta, and steak frites. There was so much flavor in each dish; we were glad to have found this gem in a place full of chain restaurants!

We come here a lot.
The food is excellent. The service is perfect every time. The facility is clean.
We’ve gotten to know a couple servers coming here as long as we have.
That being said, there’s one server here that is the absolute best.
Let’s talk about Tori. She’s friendly, she’s efficient, she’s personable, and she makes you feel like you’re important. Since I haven’t gotten a comment card or a survey on our receipt lately, I haven’t been able to tell everyone how great she is and sing her praises.
The first time we had her was yesterday. The card reader broke and she was very apologetic in the extra time it took to pay our bill. She gave us free muffins because of the trouble and came to check on us multiple times.
We went back again tonight for some more delicious food and she remembered us! Though she wasn’t our server, mainly because we were too shy to ask, she still made it a point to greet us and say hello before we left.
Tori, you are wonderful!

The food was good but the service was bad We were there for over a hour. The place was not to busy we only had to wait less then 5min for a table but had to wait about 30 min to order

This review is long overdo! I want to give a huge «Thank You» to Jacqueline my server at Mimi’s who really made my day by being an amazing person. Go to Mimi’s for kind people, friendly service, and the best damn blueberry muffins you’ve ever had. :)

Long wait despite not being that busy. Dirty tables everywhere and not enough people to clear. With that the server we had was excellent and was doing his best despite being run thin. He kept our drinks filled and checked on us several times
We were seated in the back of the restaurant and far away from anything or anyone. Wasn’t sure at first we were even going to get service.
The chicken tall hook Mac and cheese was excellent as well as the bacon cheddar burger. My husband and I split these. They flavor was very good and the food was hot

The only saving grace for this place is that the food does have good flavor. The waiter/​waitresses are kind enough. This place lacks a good coordinating manager. The appetizer shouldn’t come out 1 minute before the entrée. Noone wants to feel rushed for their appetizer and no one wants their primary meal cold when they get to it. Regardless of how busy a place is, a good manager will make it work flawlessly. The excuse of «it’s busy» is pathetic. This place is across the street from Disneyland, so it is almost always busy. With that said how successful this place will be is strongly dependent on management skills. They need a better manager who has a solid management plan. If they did I am sure this place would rock.

Yesterday was my first time trying this place aaand it was amazing everything there was not one thing I didn’t like the food the service the inside looks amazing ! Love it ! I’ll definitely be back !

Great service, good, fresh food, convenient take out for hotels near Disneyland. We appreciated some good food, fruit & veggies amongst so much fast food in the area.

Excellent service and we enjoyed two nice salads. We have gone to this chain before in another city and have enjoyed the almost French menus selections that they have.
