Calamari tender Caesar salad was good. Hamburger was over cooked. Buffalo chicken salad was good Convenient to the hotel

In a land where everything is about tourism, most of the food is aimed at the tired. This was the first restaurant at which I ate on my vacation, and I was happy with the food. I was exhausted, so a big burrito and side fixings was just what I needed. It tasted good and there was a lot of it. The restaurant was slightly overpriced, mostly because it is located inside the Sheraton. Service was very slow, which only would have mattered if we had been in a hurry. Beers were big and cold. If you’re in Anaheim around the convention center, this isn’t a bad place for a comfy seat, a refreshing beverage, and dinner.

This is actually a difficult place to review. My food, actually was really good. The ambiance of the place is definitely lacking. I got the hot wings and the prime rib. The wings were surprisingly good and fresh, with just a touch of kick. The chips and salsa they brought was a nice, albeit strange touch. The prime rib, was as I asked and was a good portion and tasty. Hard, though, to rate higher than 3 stars given the restaurants décor and at the very least, it’s perceived cleanliness or lack there of. I «get» the theme, but I feel as though they are using that as an excuse to never update or clean. While there I felt like I was in a Shoneys from the 80’s. The upper area couch type seating was dreary and a tad disgusting. The seats were like a suede that just created more intrigue in me in regards to how many meals and peoples backsides had been rubbed into the chair. The whole restaurant was just a little depressing looking. In addition, if you sat on the upper level, it was like you were up there watching and hearing everyone sitting on the lower level. The lower levels conversations just carried right up to the top. Had there been a performer, maybe it would have been nice. .. But there was none. However, again, my food was good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Soooo, I would actually go back if I were again there for a convention and I had no reservations fir the finer establishments around(which was my case) but I would definitely not take customers or my wife.

Staying at Sheraton Park Hotel would not recommend this place as a go to. Service is slow, getting orders wrong and having to return meals. Too high price for what you get in return.

Three stars is exactly what this place deserves. I’ll start with the service. The bartender was great. He was very friendly and took my order quickly. The problem was the food. I wasn’t expecting much from the sheratons restaurant but they proved me wrong. It was a little worse. I ordered the prime rib as others commented on it being good. The first piece brought out was more well done than requested but I figured no big deal. It was so tough I couldn’t cut any of it with a butter knife. A good piece of prime run should melt in your mouth. I ate 5 bites and realized I couldn’t eat anymore. The bartender checked on me and quickly brought it back to kitchen to get me a better piece. Thank you! I got a new piece in a few minutes and it was medium rare as originally ordered and juicer. That said it was still a bit tough. And rather flavorless. Part of that is being in California where they don’t over salt or over season food. The black beans tastes like they were straight out of a can and the coleslaw tasted funny. Not funny bad but different. Neither side was enjoyable. Perhaps I should have ordered a burger or something simple. That’s what I get for being too lazy to go somewhere further from my hotel. Would I try it again and ride something different? No.

Excellent food!!! An experienced chef is behind the menu. The chipotle chicken pasta which was fantastic. My wife ordered perhaps the best portobello mushroom sandwich I’ve ever sampled. The place wasn’t too busy on a Monday night and our food came HOT from the kitchen in less than 10 mins. Service staff was very attentive. Will DEFINITELY come back next time we’re visiting Disneyland.

The dining room reminded me of my hotel room down to the dim lighting and heavy rugs and tablecloths. But, the ribs were great: meat fell right off the bone, sauce was tangy, and the cole slaw was OK. Portions were big too, and my table mates enjoyed the enormous margaritas.

FOODPOISONING Came here because it was close to our hotel, ordered the«Wild Mushroom Raviolis». Don’t. Eight hours later I was in the restroom of my hotel with diarrhea the consistency of water. I believe it was due to this place since my potty smelled exactly like the sauce that was on the raviolis. I just thought I was not fancy enough to enjoy the bad tasting sauce that I scraped off. My burps tasted like very strong penicillin. I suppose those who’ve experienced illness due to food born pathogens will know this experience all too well. I read other reviews. The female waitress is still working there and very abrasive. I came with a party of 8 and it was agreed we’d never be back.

Arrived in the late afternoon and was too tired to leave the adjacent hotel where my family were staying. Order with caution, food portions are massive. I ordered a Caesar salad that could feed an Asian family of 4. –_– Won’t be coming here again even if it is convenient. I’ll force myself to drive to town over(Garden Grove) and get some cheaper and tastier food. Chips and salsa are awesome but that’s the only thing they have going for them.

Just the WORST experience ever. Waited 45 minutes for my takeout dinner. Came back to my room and realized they gave me baked potato wedges instead of the salmon I ordered. Called to ask them to bring me the right meal, and I’ve been waiting two hours for the meal to come. Disgusting service. And terrible food.

Alex is a hero. I sat at the bar or this saloon after what may have been the best day of my life. I always face a meal with a chip on my shoulder because, like most men, being hungry reminds you of the things in life that you do not have. I’ve grown accustomed to the way a good meal can turn an adventure into a success story but never have I been so satisfied with myself. Being a vegetarian for 12 years really makes you look at a rack of ribs differently than the average carnivore. When you realize that the species of animal in front of you didn’t evolve fast enough to ward off the predators above it on the food chain, your freedom all of a sudden doesn’t feel so un earned. I had a monumental shift in my life today and it happened to have happened on a day that was too coincidental to go in to detail. luckily for me it was topped off by impeccable service of a meal that made me really greatfull to be who I am at this moment. here’s to you Alex the bar keeper. keep doin what you’re doin bud. It’s the little things in life that really make the important stuff worth fighting for.

It’s pretty dark and outdated inside, with old carpeting. The table smelled strongly of cleaning supplies, which I guess could be a good thing? The staff was really friendly and nice, and the food was okay. I enjoyed the portabella burger, the wings were fine, and my partner’s burger was standard. Nothing super memorable, but not bad either. Man, it really sucks how hard it is to find good food in a tourist area like that. Come on, food trucks!

Terrible! Came here for a late dinner after NAMM. We were starving and this was the closest option for us. Our server was rude and aggressive. She didn’t come over for at least 10 minutes after we sat down, and it was only because we flagged he down. The restaurant was packed, so I normally could overlook the wait, but when she finally showed up she was totally rude. I asked if there was a wine menu, and she got mad and just ask me what kind I wanted. I wanted to look at a menu! We were starving and wanted to other appetizers and she wouldn’t let us! She said she would take our app order later, which never happened. Finally she came back and we were able to order. Two of us ordered salads to start, which just never showed up. When our food finally came out, without our salads and 35 minutes later, my burger was completely raw in the middle. I was seriously about to cry at this point because I was so hungry, and the burger was totally inedible. I flagged her down again and sent it back. She gave me the biggest eye roll and said«you ordered it medium rare!» Yes, but not raw! The people around us also mentioned that the sever was extremely rude. I will never come here again!

It was late and we hadn’t eaten dinner yet. We didn’t want to eat at our hotel’s restaurant because it was so expensive! We walked over to Overland just as they were about to close, but they let us sit down anyway. I could tell that the waitress was itching to get us out of there so she could go home, but she was friendly anyway. I was surprised at how good the food was. My carne asada was delicious! It was cooked perfectly at medium rare. My sister really liked her salad and my dad liked his burger. The prices were much better than we would have spent at the hotel.

Came in for a few beers a few weekends ago with some friends. We decided to go here due to it being so close to our hotel, and not really wanting to taxi it elsewhere in Anaheim. We enjoyed the red trolly ale they had on tap as well as the patio and the pool table. All and all a nice little hotel bar with plenty of seats to accommodate a large party and a few tables at the edges to accommodate those of us that wanted to converse. Beers were cheap and service was great. Many an interesting conversation happened that night. A solid bar if your looking for a few drinks without the risk of a DUI.

I had the Catch of the day: Halibut. It was broiled and served with redskin mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. An excellent meal. The service was great as well. I’ll go back for dinner again.

We were on our way to the Skateboarding Hall of Fame induction ceremony(i just had to throw that in there) so we stopped in here. Its basically attached to the Sheraton hotel. we had the ribs. they were pretty good but nothing to write home about. maybe it was an off night? or maybe their just trying to keep it basic. will i try it again? probably not since there are so many other options in the OC.

In sum: Solid meh. I was staying at a nearby hotel, so the location was super convenient, but the food left something to be desired. I went here two nights in a row for dinner. The wine selection was pretty paltry. The first night, I got an entrée salad. It was way too lettucey, if that makes sense. Good salads need balance, and once I dug through the toppings, there was way too much base for my taste. The second night was a little better with the crab cakes. They’re just once-frozen patties, which I don’t totally mind under certain circumstances, but for what you pay they are just not worth it. Also, the tortilla chips we got were paper thin and very, very greasy. I will say that the margaritas are huge and strong. But come on, this is California. I could go anywhere for those.

This is the restaurant(and bar) of the Sheraton, and it’s a very short walk from the lobby /drop-off area. I came to the hotel for an event, and I joined some friends for a late dinner here. We were one of the few parties in the restaurant at 9pm, and the overall quality was much better than I expected. Maybe it’s not that surprising since the place wasn’t busy, but it still defied the Unilocal average. They started the table off with tortilla chips and mild salsa(possibly with options? I was late to the start). The chips were thin and crunchy and were better with salsa than without. I personally had a prime rib beef dip with normal fries, $ 12.95 on the front of the menu. It came with a slice of pickle, which I passed off to tablemates, the au jus, and some ranch dressing. The super tenderness of the thinly sliced meat completely won me over. The fries were crunchy and worked with or without ketchup. I was disappointed when I had my food(and au jus boxed and they didn’t give me the rest of my fries. Some other things that I sampled were the loaded potato skins(a little heavy), a margarita(pretty sweet), and some other cocktail(mango-y). They were all pretty good. I didn’t try my friends’ salad, which I think was the«barn yard bird» chicken salad, but one person was raving about how good it was. Others shared a medium steak and and really enjoyed it. Overall, I think this is a solid option if you are at the Sheraton and are looking for a decent variety of steaks, burgers, or salads that doesn’t break the bank.

So my friends and I came here last night after working a long day at the anaheim convention center. We walked in around 9:30pm and the restaurant was closing at 10pm. Now what really stood out for me was the service. Walking in we were immediately greeted by the host, the waitress came to the table and brought out drinks right away, and they got our order into the kitchen super fast. Hot chips and salsa were delivered to the table super quick too. Now i dont know if the super fast service was becuase they were closing soon but I really appreciated it especially since after working a 12 hr day, my friends and I just wanted to sit down and eat. For a bbq restaurant in the heart of disney country, I thought the prices were very resonable. I ordered the ½ chicken with 2 sides and it was $ 15 bucks, my friends ordered the full rack of ribs and 2 sides and that was $ 25(you may as well order the full rack since its only $ 2 bucks more than the half rack). The food was good, and the portions were generous. The chicken I ordered was not too dry and they bbq was sweet and not too tangy. Could have used more sauce but that was my fault for not asking for some on the side. My friends had the ribs and they said it was a bit on the dry side but they did mention that it had a good taste, they just preferred the type of ribs where the meat is super tender and falls off the bone. If your staying at the Sheraton you can charge the meals to your room to get your starwood pts if you have it. I gave this place a 3 but I really think its like a 3.5. I didnt give it a 4 because Ive had better bbq in the anaheim area, if your looking for some better BBQ check out Blakes Place.
