Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill

Love Rubio’s. But for some reason this Rubio forgot to add my salad dressing. Couldn’t even eat since it would be plain vegetables only. Since I am staying at hotel, I had no option to add any dressing.

I’ve always loved Rubio’s. I had a favorite location when I lived in Las Vegas.
This was my first visit to this location, and I was impressed with the décor. It’s bright and modern. It was also quite the happenin’ place to be that night! Even a handful of super cute firemen happened to stop in for dinner… yay!
The food was ok. It tasted nice, but wasn’t as hot as I’d have liked. I’ll definitely head to this location at least once more … especially for the chance to see more firefighters on their break. ;)

This is my second trial of this place and I just got the street tacos and they were not good. The last time it was a steak burrito. Each time the food was dry and flavorless. So I attempted to put some lime on it but they were so dry I only got 2 or 3 drops per wedge. They are overpriced for what you get. I will not be going back.

Having been to other Rubio’s, I would have given this place 4-​stars because the food is good. Love the fish tacos here and the grilled Gourmet Steak tacos. It is also very clean with lots of Indoor and outdoor seating. The salsa bar is always well-​maintained and stocked with fresh ingredients.
I gave them the extra-​star because of the service. The owner (Korean American) obviously realizes that customer service is very important. He goes out of his way to very attentive to every customer and I can truly appreciate that.

It’s been a while since I’ve stepped into this Rubio’s location and they’ve upgraded the décor. It’s really nice and spacious. A lot of seating to choose from and it’s very clean. Plus it’s not crowded ;)
For food, I got the Gourmet Shrimp Tacos with chips and rice. Let me tell why I love Rubio’s food; there sauce is creamy and the cheese is melted into the tortilla that gives it this flakey taste. You can taste the avocado and the shrimp is fresh. I’m not lying that this one of the best Rubio’s I’ve been to. Also there churros are bomb too!

I like this Rubios. More spacious and cleaner than the others I have been too. Plus lots of seating. Indoor and outdoor.
The food was good as always. Love the fish tacos here and the grilled Gourmet Steak tacos. These are bomb!
The salsa bar is also well maintained here. It’s is clean and fully stocked.
Also the manager guy working at the front is super nice and courteous.
Will def come back to eat here when in the area!

This is my favorite Rubios. This location was just recently remodeled which looks great. The staff here is really friendly the salsa bar always has enough salsa. I usually get the California bowl with chicken no beans and green salsa.

every time I come to this location, the employees are so nice! they never seem to rush me when I’m ordering, and when I ask for a side of something it actually comes out haha, it’s rare at other places. I love that they have vegetarian options and various sides and sauces so you can customize a lot. I get the burrito especial, the grilled veggies and chipotle sauce is great. with the new remodel, they’ve been taking great care of the place.

We go here for lunch every Friday and this location is awesome! A big shoutout to Moises and the crew for great service and delicious food! I order nachos every week with no salsa Fresca and they always get my order right! Plus I love their selection of Mexican bottled drinks! Sometimes I just feel like having a Coke and a smile! Kudos to this location, I look foreward to eating here again and again!

This Rubio’s is super clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food was really good. I had the original fish tacos. Ate it too fast to take a picture!

First and last time ever coming in. This girl Sara tries to argue with me when she gave me my wrong change. Telling me she gave me my correct change. I like Rubios but not this one. Cerritos yes. Anaheim never again! Even my mom was a witness that my change was wrong. Like roll the camera and see it for yourself. I know I’m right and your wrong.

Came here on a taco Tuesday I ordered the fish taco plate and one drink, when the guy told me the total I thought it was a bit high, paid anyways. It wasn’t until I checked the receipt that I realize he charged me for two drinks.

only 1.50 dollars.
I would like to try other menus soon.

First time at this location. While I love Rubios, this location wasn’t busy at all and it took almost over 20 mins to get our order (4 chicken tacos!!!)
To top it off, we got home, opened our order… they got it all wrong. I ate it anyway and bit down on what I can onto describe as disgustingly minty… In MY CHICKEN TACO. Come on people!!!

First timer at Rubio’s. I came here for my free taco for teacher’s appreciation promotion. The service was great, the cashier was nice and friendly. The dining area was huge. The salsa bar was super clean and well put together.
I got the grilled gourmet taco with steak. It was a large size taco. I was full with just one. It had a lot of fillings inside including bacon. The bacon over powered the taste of it. But everything else was good! Next time I’ll say no bacon.

The worst Rubios location with exceptionally poor service and food quality.
I am so disappointed that this location is the closest to my house, since I love Rubios and now never want to go there again. I guess we just gave them one too many shots. On several occasions, whether eating in or taking to go, our order comes out wrong — Usually corn instead of flour tortillas, pinto beans instead of black, etc. so we always have to double and triple check to make sure we get what was ordered before leaving or sitting down to eat.
This last experience was a doozy — Our party of 3 came in at 8PM on Sunday and the dining room smelled like dirty mop water. When we walked up to the register, no one was around to take our order for over 5 minutes. Finally, we ordered a pesky fish plate with black beans, original chicken taco plate, and regular fish taco. The young girl that took our order said that they were closing soon, and we asked when to see if we should take it to go, she said 9PM. Ok, we figured we could eat in less than an hour, considering.
About 7 minutes later, our chicken taco plate and one regular fish taco was delivered. We waited for about 5 minutes, wondering where the pesky fish taco plate was and when asked, they said it would be coming out soon. Since the other food was getting cold, we started eating — only to find that the fish in the taco was burnt. We inquired, yet again, about the taco plate, and asked for them to recook the fish taco. As we continued to wait, they brought out the new fish taco — ahead of the fish taco plate. It’s the same fish. And — it was still burnt. Finally, we gave up, grudgingly ate, and asked for a manager.
The shift leader (Sonia) came over to talk to us. When we explained, she said she would go talk to whoever was in the kitchen to see what happened. She didn’t return for a while, and when she did, she said she still didn’t know what was going on since they were arguing about it in the back. She mentioned that the fish could not have been burnt, since it is a 3.5 minute timer that notifies the cook to take it out of the fryer. Instead, it was probably the oil. Ok, so now you are cooking with dirty oil that needs to be changed? She provided us with coupons for the plate and taco, but it was too little too late. We never did find out what happened, since she then ignored us until we left.
Perhaps this was the event of a poor night crew that just wanted to go home. However, more than likely not, since this isn’t the first time we have had problems. Most likely, it is poor training, management, and cleanliness.

The service is absolutely quick and efficient!
We had 2 Chipotle Burrito that was so delicious!
That was a special order.
Highly recommended for anyone!
