The Food — This is you basic Mexican Taco/Burrito place. You can fill said Taco/Burrito with any of the following — Fish or Shrimp, your non-sea dwelling choices include — Asada(beef) ·Carnitas(pork) ·Pollo(Chicken) Al Pastor(Spicy Pork) ·Lengua(Tongue). The menu also includes Torta, Taquitos, Tostadas, Sopes, Quesadilla and Nachos. The Quality — I partook in the Asada Burrito so I can only speak on that, Good meat to bean/rice ratio. Instead of lettuce it had shredded cabbage with a bit of lime taste which I liked. The meat was flavorful and of good sized chunks. The overall size of the burrito was good for the 6.99 price tag. The Ambiance — Ambiance means what the joint looked like, This is a strip-mall place that seats about 20 at max. It was a bit dingy inside, a couple of the pictures on the wall hung at an angle. Various dirt marks on wall/doors. At one point an employee came to wipe down tables and just wiped the spillings for previous patron’s taco/burritos to the ground and in the 20 minutes I remained never swept them up. It was also a bit warm and stuffy inside but there are a couple tables outside. Now mind you I think your chance of contracting E. Coli are slim I mean it’s not like a Chipolte. Overall worth giving a try

This place having 4 stars takes away credibility for Unilocal users looks for good food. seriously this is average quality food at best. Great location woth so much potential… ove tried it twice and wpnt try it again. Not for average food I’ll have subway instead. Improve food quality and staff and this place would crank!!!

Their fish tacos are my guilty pleasure — extra-battered white fish with ample lettuce and dressing, all for an affordable price for the Anaheim area. Order ahead and they’ll usually have your order ready for takeout in 10 – 15 mins.

Disclaimer: I don’t eat seafood so I haven’t had most of the things on the menu. That being said, I got the veggie burrito and they’re still getting 5 stars from me because I have never been so full in my life. Tons of salsa and sauces to choose from and the crema in the burrito was sooooo good. My veggie burrito was more filling than a chicken burrito from chipotle, so it is definitely worth your money even if it looks a little run-down from the outside. Despite the lack of options for someone who does not eat seafood, it was still a really good find. I got the guacamole on the side but was not too happy about the size, we just walked over to the Ralph’s next door and got fresh avocados from there. Perks of being located in a big plaza!

The closest thing you can get to authentic street tacos in Anaheim Hills. The grilled shrimp is wonderful. Prices are much better than a Rubio’s or Baja Fresh. Our weekly Taco Tuesday night STOP! :)

Taco Tuesday done right! If tortas, burritos or sopes are ya thing, they have those too. I have been coming here since before the name change, and this place still has those great fish tacos. One of the few places in the chain that still has the mango salsa, so if you come by, please leave some for me!

First time customer. For those of us who have had good Mexican food, this is nothing like that. First off, I’d like to say that there was an employee named Sofia that was simply awful. For lack of a better way to say it, she should be fired. If I was the owner, I would. Why? This is my experience. So I go in there on a Saturday night 8:10pm. Mind you, they close at 9. The facial expression on her was like oh my death, a customer. I’m hungry, so I ignored it and said it was my first time what’s good. She said, «we have good fish tacos,» and mustered a half bitten smile. The problem I had started here, she then takes my order, two grilled fish, two grilled shrimp, and says«for here or to go? because for here we would be closing soon,» my reaction was«it’s only 8:15.» She said, «oh right right…» She then went on to complain about how slow it was today and that time goes so slow when nobody is there so she just cleans and walks about. Am I somebody? uh, please respect the person you don’t know who is giving you money for food. I don’t see why you’d say you’re open till 9 and start closing everything at 8. Well, I got my tacos. They were mediocre at best and really didn’t have anything special about them. Here’s why I’d be pissed as an owner of the restaurant. about 6 – 8 customers were there for the time I was eating about 15 minutes. Two of the customers were standing at the counter never were greeted, they stood there and the cashier literally stood there with a scowl on her face. These two customers left and the store was empty, she said, «gosh, why can’t they just order? I stood there for X minutes and I could have been cleaning the store!» She exclaimed to me. That was totally unacceptable. Another lady came in and this was about 8:30, Sofia was putting up all of the chairs inside the establishment, and said nothing and walked to the register and still said nothing, until the lady said«are you closed?» She replied, «not yet, but we are in the process of closing… um, you can order something small if you want.» The lady was so mad she said nevermind and walked out really unhappy with the ridiculousness of it. Lesson of the night, don’t alienate your customers and you won’t be slow on Saturday nights.

We were out running errands and stopped by to have a quick dinner. We ordered the asada, lengua, shrimp tacos and the grilled shrimp quesadilla. The shrimp tacos were the best! Very friendly service and the food was great. We are definitely coming back.

Señor Baja is one of the few decent Mexican food places in all of Anaheim and Yorba Linda combined. I usually come here for their daily specials: Monday’s — 3 tostadas and a drink $ 5 Wednesday — fish tacos $ 1.29 Friday’s — 3 carne Assad tacos and a drink $ 5 Fish tacos are probably the best I’ve ever had. The pieces of fish are large and always fresh and crispy. I usually get 4 to fill me up, but when I’m pretending To be on a diet, 3 will do just fine. The tostadas are stacked with meat, onions, sour cream and avocado. Everything seems to melt in your mouth perfectly. I would give this place 4 stars but on my last visit I noticed that there was MOLD growing on the plastic of where the ice comes out. I’m pretty immune to almost everything so I pretended like I didn’t see it and enjoyed my food and drink with out ice. I’ll probably be back but will be taking my food home so I can enjoy a cold beverage with my food.

This is my second time trying this place out. The first time I had I couldn’t believe the food was that good, so I had to have it again. This time it really hit me, these are hands down the best baja fish tacos that I’ve ever had. FYI this review is coming from a Mexican, so I know my tacos.

They have the greatest fish tacos around. They use crema which really complements the slight saltiness of the batter and their fish is always crispy without seeming as though you’re just eating batter without any fish. Their al pastor is pretty decent, nothing to write home about but their salsas are certainly praiseworthy! The salsa with the cucumber — *throws Italian-style kisses in the air* — so very tasty! I don’t see it in many salsa bars! Their tacos are very reasonably priced at $ 2 apiece. Stop in if you can! They seem to have weekday specials going on as well.

Super crunchy FISHTACOS!!! Deep fried battered fish on a warm and soft corn tortillas with pico de gallo and crema. It truly hits the spot. For $ 1.99, it’s a pretty darn good fish taco. I’m not sure what fish they use, but it’s flaky and not fishy at all. The batter is light and very crispy and not greasy. I’d get it again in a heartbeat! ($ 1 Fish Tacos on Wednesdays) The place is a small Mexican food joint located in a business plaza. They offer the usual Mexican food like burritos, nachos, tortasand etc. El Hubby tried their CARNEASADATORTA and SHRIMPTACOS. He liked the big torta, but wished the carne asada was grilled. He said it didn’t have that grilled meat flavor. I had a bite of it and didn’t mind it ^_^. The shrimp tacos were delicious. 3 big pieces of deep fried battered shrimp. Sooo good! My only complaint is that they messed up our simple order. We wanted 3 shrimp tacos added to our order, but they gave us 3 fish tacos instead. Not really a big deal, but we really wanted to try more shrimp tacos. Don’t forget to get some salsas, radishes and other toppings at their salsa bar ^_^.

It was ok. The food was typical and really nothing special. The fish taco was pretty good though. The carne asada burrito had a lot of rice and beans and not much asada. The salsa wasnt very good but it was decent. I probably wouldn’t be coming back here unless I was in the area and wanted some Mexican food better than Taco Bell.

Long wait times and average food. Do not order for pickup. This place tells you 15 minutes, but takes 25. I feel like sometimes they don’t start making your meal until you actually get there. The fish tacos are pretty good, but not amazing. Wahoo’s offer significantly better tacos down the road. Carne Asada tacos are the best thing here. I no longer live in the area and won’t be returning when visiting.

On Wednesday the Fish Tacos are $ 1.29 and they are yummy! I thought it would be busy for lunch but It wasn’t. We did take out for lunch and the wait wasn’t that long. I’ve been here before and I got the steak sandwich/Torta and that was yummy as well. I have yet to try the shrimp tacos, I hear there delicious.

I really love their fast and prompt service along with good customer service. It’s clean and their daily specials are great! Fish taco Wednesdays and Tostadita Mondays are definitely my favorite. Yum! Oh, and their salsa bar is a huge plus. Red salsa isn’t too spicy but nice and thick. I wish they had the guacamole salsa that’s super spicy and thick. Oh, well. either way, winner winner!

The 5 stars only reflect the quality/taste of the item I ordered! This place is always great for my coworkers and I to hit up at lunch! Yesterday, I had the veggie/chicken burrito bowl. Unlike Chipotle, this place WILL give you a satisfying amount of meat too! It was amazing — have it with the Chipotle and the hot red sauce they offer. I was pretty stuffed. not bad for eight bucks!
