Shell E T D Foodmart & Carwash

We made the mistake of using the car wash.
We went there thinking that like EVERY OTHER Shell station they would offer a discount on the gas since we needed the car wash. We thought wrong. We payed thirty cents more per gallon than the Arco across the street.
Then we use the car wash. There were no spinning scrubbers. I was worried. Then there was soap all over the car and the water pressure didn’t seem like it was going to rinse it off. I was right. Once we got to the drying cycle there was soap all over my side mirrors and windshield.
My fiancé parked and went inside to ask for a towel. The woman behind the counter was on her iPhone with headphones in. He asked for a towel and she handed him a single paper towel. He re-​explained what he needed and she asked if he needed a napkin. So he again explained. She said she only had paper towels and gave us four. He had to go back in and get more. The whole time she didn’t get off of her phone.
TL;DR
Do not get gas here they are WAY overpriced, even from the Shell station down the street. The people behind the counter are incredibly rude. The car wash is TERRIBLE!

I was low on gas and with gas prices back on the rise I decided to take advantage of the lower price with cash. I normally use 76, since I have their card, but one was in my direction.
So I walk in to pay cash and only wanted to pay for $ 30 of gas. They tell me they don’t have change for $ 40. Really??? How do you do business with a food mart and gas with no ability to give back $ 10 in cash???
I think it was BS and I should have just given her $ 5 to get closer to home, so guess what they got $ 20 and I will never stop at this place again.

This place is by far the worst place to get gas at! I asked the lady to put $ 50 on 7 she tells me okay, so I decide to only put $ 30 I go back to her and ask her for my change she tells me «what change?» I tell her I only put $ 30 she goes crazy on me! I tell her to relax before I go over there and slap her! She calls the police on me and I tell them the story! And of course they are on my side, anyways long story short she give me my $ 20 back and she tells me you are cheap! I turned around and said fuck you! And grab a soda and open it and spill it every where, than I walked out! The owner in a dumb fuck to!

Car wash is horrible. Granted, it’s a drive thru but I expect the soap to be completely rinsed of at the very least. I let the cashier know (who seemed to be a family member of he owner) and she assured my that the fault is my own and not the machine. She explained that if I read the instructions for the car wash, the unwashed soap wouldn’t happen. I knew she was wrong because the soap was all over my car and not in one specific area. She gave me a free car wash to fix the situation. I gave it another go and the same thing happened again.
I politely went back in to let her know that there seems to be something wrong with their car wash system. Either with the amount of water or lack there of or with their blower. I personally believe it to be both. In any case, she explained that nobody complains about it and there is simply nothing wrong with the car wash system. I let her know that this location is very convenient for me and if she could either pass on this information to the owner or I’d be happy to speak with the owner myself.
All in all, I can tell that she had no intention in relaying the message. It’s a shame because that’s just bad business. For that alone they get 1 star.
