Yves’ never disappoints and this Father’s Day was no exception. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and ready to please. The food is exceptional and there is something for every taste on the menu. Great wine list too! Don’t forget to order your soufflé when you order dinner, they are truly a treat and something not to be missed.

This was a wonderful dinner for eight. Based on our reservation, they had us inside which was not ideal and sort of noisy. When we asked the manager to create a table for eight on the patio, he was delighted to do so and even made sure there were heaters to keep the ladies warm. Food was delicious and service spot on. This is a great place for a small group.

We eat here at least twice a month. We usually begin with martinis and some sort of appetizer. Drinks are always great. I have tried most of the items in the menu and have never been disappointed. They also have specials. I have a tried a few. I enjoyed them all. But the real reason for a full five-star rating is that the people are great. They remember us. They treat us like old friends and are very attentive. I highly recommend them but make a reservation if you go on Friday. It’s gets crowded

The food was excellent and very well presented. Our waiter was very attentive and made for a very pleasant lunch. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and have decided to celebrate another one there next month. Definitely a wonderful experience.

This place never disappoints. We love the food and the service can’t be matched. When we go there, we feel like they are truly happy to see us. It is relatively small, so make a reservation.

I’m finally getting around to my 5-star review, for Yves’! Although, it should receive 10, quite frankly. This restaurant has been on my Unilocal bookmark list, forever, it seems. On a Sunday night, post tummy growls, my handsome boyfriend and I made the decision to dine here. It’s tucked away, in the corner of a shopping center, off Imperial and Santa Ana Canyon. Also near, where Foxfire used to be. The restaurant is large and open, with indoor and outdoor seating, an extensive wine list(beers too), and decorated lovely. We were in for a treat as they run a superb special Sunday nights, for«sweathearts». At $ 45/couple, it’s literally a steal! The food and service here is top notch! We checked in on Unilocal and scored the most delicious free brushetta, either of us have had in our lives! With the special, we each chose a salad with ranch(fresh, light, and done well), each had a pasta dish, followed by a Grand Marnier Soufflé AND we added an order of Bananas Foster. The latter dessert didn’t appeal to me as much, as the rest of the meal. Let me say we were drooling, and ranting and raving, long after the experience was over. Literally, the best meal we’ve enjoyed, since we can remember! I can’t wait to order something new next time, but that risotta was tasty enough for me to beg for daily! Thank you Yves’ for providing spectacular food!

Had a wonderful meal for my girlfriends birthday. Service was exceptional. We arrived ealy so we sat in lounge and decided just to enjoy the entire meal there. Waiter was so attentive and knowledgable about speciality drinks and the menu. His suggestions made the experience. I wish i could remember his name so the owner could read this and know what a great waiter he has. We were there at 5 pm friday in the lounge if that helps. P. S. the food was great also

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Yves’ where I ordered off the $ 10 lunch menu. I ordered the lasagna like plate and it was perfect. The order came with a delicious salad and the lunch portion was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and try their dinner.

I can not thank the staff enough for giving us such a wonderful late night dinner for our anniversary. The food was terrific and the service was better. We had the crab cake appetizer which was cooked perfectly. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the roast duck. Some of the best food we’ve had in a while! For dessert our waiter and his talented girlfriend in the kitchen put a crème brûlée together for us as a surprise! It was just a wonderful night. Thank you all again!

Man is this place ever amazing. The food is spectacular, as good as it is it doesn’t compare to the service which was superb. We went there for my birthday, Yves went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He did that to ask his guests. That’s fantastic. We started off with drinks & the cheese platter, everything got better from there. It’s a very cozy & romantic atmosphere, if you go with your family, a girls night out, wine tasting or a romantic evening, you can’t lose.

Great dinner… bruschetta, Mediterranean Salad, Nouille Roule, Capelli D’Angelo Abbondanza, finished with soufflé. For sure to become a regular place for us to frequent. All our wait staff was fantastic. Thank you Yves for great conversation and for making our anniversary dinner perfect!

I took my best friend for her birthday dinner. After choosing and checking resto, to celebrate her birthday. We decided to come here — And we are so glad we did. The food is delectable, very tasty and the service was top notch. The Mediterranean Salad was delightful. My bestfriend enjoyed eating it. Our main courses are just tasty and delightful. My Filet Mignon was beyond delicious. Our dish was loaded up with plenty of delicious goodness that included lamb Chops, Beef Tenderloin, Diver Scallops and Prawns and Fresh Grilled Salmon. We also had our soufflé and dessert –Chocolate Lovers and Crème Brulee, which is pretty good in taste. Everything was delicious, fresh and uniquely flavored. We enjoyed everything we had here. It’s a great restaurant, and I don’t think you can go wrong here. Yve’s, is definitely worth a try.

Was going to arrive late. Called ahead to notify staff. Still arrived on time, in the rain. Seated under a leak in the roof. Staff wouldn’t move us. Continued being smarmy cretins, they did. Food came out bland and improperly cooked. Staff unenthused about correcting. Ordered second glass of wine for wife. It never arrived but it did end up on check. I contested this. Staff said they did deliver wine. I contested more vehemently. They relented. I never returned. The place is conveniently located near Reunion, which is much, much better. Go there instead.

Had dinner here. They have good food. Our appetizers were on the salty side. I had the creamy lemon chicken it was delicious. The soufflé was ok. I wasn’t too impressed by it.

Classy but welcoming environment — the ambience and interior design is incredible here. The live music is great and the drinks are amazing. Nice little find, although sometimes the food is wonderful and then meh…

Part-way into our entrée, he said it — «This food barely has any taste!» — and I couldn’t have agreed more. It started with the salad. The house salad supposedly comes with a Dijon vinaigrette. Well.. .there was no flavor of even a hint of any kind of mustard, let alone Dijon. And vinaigrette? This was a thick, creamy dressing, off-white in color. Don’t get me wrong.. .the salad wasn’t horrible; I ate it all, refraining from commenting at the lack of any kind of flavor. Then came the entrée: we split the pesto linguine with shaved asparagus, wild mushrooms and we added scallops.(Didn’t know the scallops would be breaded, but whatever!) Well, it came out made with rotini(cork-screw pastas), no asparagus, and no mushrooms. It did contain sun-dried tomatoes, a bunch of chopped up yellow squash and melted cheese, and oh! I think I did get the smallest chunk of some kind of mushroom in my bowl. The waiter did apologize for the pasta switch, but that definitely didn’t bother us in the least. Pasta tastes like pasta, after all, no matter the shape. And the fact that what we were eating wasn’t at all what we had ordered wasn’t so bothersome, either. It was the lack of flavor! Sun-dried tomatoes and an unassertive cheese were pretty much all we could taste. Again, not horrible — just very ho-hum. There wasn’t even any pesto in this«pesto» rotini! I was wondering if they even have any garlic in their kitchen, and if they do, why not use it?! The atmosphere was really nice, I will say, and Ricardo the waiter was excellent! He was efficient without being over-bearing. And after we finished a very good bottle of pinot, we got one more glass which he ended up not charging us for due to the rotini/linguine mix-up. All in all, a nice enough evening, but it would have been SO much better if there was some kind of commitment to flavor by the chefs.

I’ve lived nearby this place my whole life and have never been here before. Can’t believe that. Well, just a few weeks ago, I decided to check this place out. and everything was pretty good. the only con was that the servers took a little bit longer to come around to our table and grab our orders. we did not make reservations and was able to walk in and get seated… granted this was on a weekday but it around around prime dinner time. oh, if you check in you’ll get free bruschetta. the bruschetta is very tasty i highly recommend it! might as well, since you can get it for free. lol we got the two below dishes. Nouille Roulet$ 19.00 Capelli D’Angelo Abbondanza$ 18.00 the Capelli D’Angelo Abbondanza was light compared to the nouille roulet, but both dishes were excellent. i really enojyed my nouille. very flavorful and filling. i’ve never had something similar before. its like ravoli turned on its side and opened as well… its hard to explain… just get it and trust me you won’t regret it. i don’t know why i’ve avoided yves all these years, but i’ll definitely come back in the future.

So the seating is different here then anywhere I’ve ever gone before. You can chose to sit in a normal table or sit at a couch and have dinner as if you are at your house hanging out having wine and dinner with your friends in the comfort of your own home with a professional chef making your meal. Ok so the check in on Unilocal is well worth the appetizer you get for free. Very good. The meal was served and very tasty. Steak was cooked perfect and packed with flavor. The veggies were so so for me which was the only thing I did not enjoy about the whole dining experience. This is a nice little hidden gem I never knew existed until a friend invited me for dinner and drinks here. This is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for some good wine and a nice meal in a comfortable setting, a place to have meetings even.
