As a kid, I didn’t care for it. As an adult, I love this place! I suggest everyone come here, even if you’ve already been! I’m the type of person that likes learning new things. I love the imaginarium, it’s a great place for kids. Also love the native villages exhibits. I learned a lot about Alaska that I didn’t even know about and I was raised here LOL bring your family and friends that are visiting. Heck, if you’re bored, come here. They give residents discounts, check online sometimes there’s free admission days.

Often overlooked, The Alaska Museum of Natural History is a great place for families and others interested in exploring the wold past(ancient and more recent) of Alaska. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, prices are affordable. Lots to do for kids.

Everyone touring Alaska should definitely take a moment and tour this museum. The dances where amazing, and tons of photo opportunities. I walked away with a greater appreciation for all the Alaskan tribes, and cultures. Worth every penny!

This is a small but interesting place to visit especially for children. Went here with my grandson who likes dinosaurs. They have dinosaur skeletons and interactive exhibits. One of his favorite places was«digging» for fossils, a place where kids can dig in the said and find«fossils» It is more of a place for kids than adults but if you have young kids that like dinosaurs, this is a great place to go.
