Ordered take out from there last night and it was terrible. I arrived a little earlier than when my order was ready hoping to get everything hot and fresh, boy was I wrong. I got an order of boneless mild wings and buffalo chips. The wings were swimming in the mild sauce and so overcooked it was hard to cut them. The Buffalo chips were a joke. I opened my box and there were 6, yes I counted, 6 small, soggy, cold limp pieces of cut potato, definitely not worth the $ 5 I paid for the chips. I live 2 minutes from the restaurant so there’s no way they had time to cool down that much. I paid over $ 20 for everything and it all ended up in the trash. I will never go back.

The food was to be expected. It was pretty good! I ordered a medium traditional mango habanero wings which is supposed to be 16 pieces. They were well cooked and tasted good, with one problem. They left me short about four wings. Now this isn’t a huge deal but when you think that it’s 25% of the order left out that’s a little frustrating. Since it was To go we didn’t drive all the way back. If I go back it will be to sit at the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I live in east Anchorage, and our favorite ‘game time hangout’ is Tilted Kilt(see my review for more reasons behind that). With that being said, Tilted Kilt is located in south Anchorage and Buffalo Wild Wings, in Midtown, is often closer and easier to get to. On occasion we end up here instead to watch our regular Cowboys football games(and other sports when we decide we’re interested in them). My main complaint with this particular game day establishment is that the sole reason most people go here is for the TVs, and the TVs here are poorly placed. The bar area ‘open seating area’ in the center of the restaurant is really the only place with enough adequately and well-spaced TVs to comfortably watch the game from any seat. There are two other seating areas, one with tables and one with booths and tables, on either side of the open seating area. The booths in particular are comfortable to sit at, but very uncomfortable to watch a TV from. The TVs are located at a 90 degree angle from the booths so you have to turn your head entirely sideways to watch them. Some of the tables have seats that have the same angle, and some of the seats don’t even face a television at all. The televisions are nicely sized, but that doesn’t really matter if you get a neck cramp just trying to view them(especially when it’s a game that lasts 3 or 4 hours). The sound quality here is lacking as well. Granted, this place is usually pretty busy and the noise level is loud on its own, but even in the quieter areas(like the booth seating) the sound can barely be heard. It’s almost pointless to try and have the commentary on a loud speaker, because it’s impossible to hear if you don’t have it turned up loud enough. If you’re coming for the food this Buffalo Wild Wings is on par with other ones around the country. They have a great selection of, of course, chicken wings. If you’ve never been to B-Dubs before, they also carry a lot of other great comfort food options like fries, nachos, burgers, and other yummy game day treats. The food service here is always on par. They always supply you with a good stack of napkins to clean up your chicken-wing mess. The food comes quickly, well-cooked, and exactly as ordered. They may not have the best gourmet(or even comfort) food in Anchorage, but they have a good selection of family-friendly and good date-day eats that are worth munching on over a game. They do a fantastic job of staffing this place. There are always enough staff to manage the tables and everyone here is usually very professional. Occasionally we’ll have two servers working our table at once and that can get a bit confusing. It’s just an organizational thing that could be fixed with some quick communication between employees, but for some reason it happens often here. Other than that, the place is clean and they do have some great TV-watching areas within the open-seating space. I suggest opting for the open seating bar area if you want to get a comfortable view of the game, but if you’re coming just for the food– hit up the booths, they’re comfier to sit in. The food is, well, typical chain food. And the employees are nice and good at their job. I don’t have any real complaints aside from the lack of well-placed TVs in the seating beyond the bar area. Considering the TVs are a large reason for why I come here, that’s why I’ve downgraded it so heavily based on that one complaint.

Over priced but if you want good wings, this is the place to go. Every other place I’ve had wings in Anchorage has been… bleck. Worth it if you’re having a craving!

I went down here on a whim to catch a football game on Monday night. I was worried that my experience was going to be like the other reviewers here, but fortunately that didn’t happen. I found a good seat to catch the game on the big screen and my server was friendly and provided great service without being overly attentive. I had the mozzarella sticks. It came out hot and fresh just in time for the kickoff. Before halftime, I tried two flavors of wings; the garlic parmesan and the salt and vinegar. The wings came out quickly and tasted good. It was my first time trying a salt and vinegar dry rub and it was a good match for the wings. It tasted exactly like the Lay’s potato chip flavor. The garlic parmesan was more on the creamy side with some Italian herbs mixed in. That was another winner with the blue cheese dip on the side with carrots. The only bad thing of the night was my team losing in the final minutes along with my appetite.

wings are good. but all the other foods have too much sauce. heat was great but too much vinegar. pulled pork sandwich tasted like bread with sauce. wings were good and I guess that’s what they are known for. service was great. but probably be a long time before I come back.

I’m a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings because it’s easy and convenient. I know what to expect and like the atmosphere. The service is always terrible though. The wings are usually good and even if they aren’t they are at least still edible. I’ve waited 20 min for a cocktail before. For some reason I keep giving this place another chance even though no matter what city I visit this establishment I’m disappointed in some way, usually the service.

The staff is super friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. the downfall is the actually food. To be called«BDubs» you would think they would take pride in their wings but they are so mediocre they seriously need to revisit this.

I would love to give this place 5 stars. But they’re so, so over priced. The curry sauce is my absolute favorite. Fries are delicious. Burgers are juicy. Fried pickle chips! Good beer selection if that’s your thing. Service depends on the day. Family friendly. Love it, but its too expensive.

We’ve been here twice already and have had terrible service. The first time, we had a bubbly waitress. She couldn’t remember what our drinks were — to the point where she asked us to taste ours to see what flavors they were. Our drinks were served but she never came back to give us any refills even though she obviously had the time to sit down at the table across from us to take orders from the guys that were sat there. We ordered Spinach Artichoke dip and the pita bread was so overcooked to the point that it was completely inedible. My 2 year old tried to bite it and he couldn’t even break the bread. My poor baby handed it back to me. I tried eating it and I couldn’t break any part off. We would have asked for them to send us another one but our waitress never came back. I had to walk up to the host’s table to ask for refills and to let them know that we were ready for the check and to leave. The second time, it was so hot in the restaurant. When I asked about it, they told us that they didn’t have a/c. The wait times were so long that we were sitting there for a little under 45min with 2 toddlers in the heat. It wasn’t our waitress’ fault though. She was serving so many people and worked whatever she had. We won’t be returning.

Went to this restaurant in anticipation for the yummy wings. That didn’t happen at all. We sat down and waited for someone to take our drink order. After 8 minutes of her walking around, the waitress finally brought us 2 drinks but they weren’t what we had ordered. We waited for her to fix them and after another 8 minutes she came back to ask what our drinks were that we had ordered. At this point we just old her not to worry about it. She never once offered to take our order. We got up to see the manager and as we let him know about the situation all he could say is «oh ok» then we said we would go somewhere else and he just said. «OK sorry man» and walked away as we walked out. Not exactly impressed…

Wings are great, football on every screen, good selection of beer — we live it here! A lot of locals prefer Peanut Farm, but the food there is just OK and it’s usually too crowded. We prefer BWW.

I used to love BWW in the lower 48 but the one here has ruined it for me. Out of the 5 times I have went, I have left with food poisoning twice. Be very careful of this one.

Great sports bar. They have great staff, very friendly, lots of beers in tap. The food is corporate, so there’s that.

From a friend: Would give zero stars for the waitress Monica that gives zero«Fs», provided us with horrible service, talked about how she got so messed up the night before, and tried to charge a Redbull she drank by the soda station on our bill. What type of management allows that? Completely unprofessional!!! Will never go back! And will warn everyone that if they choose to visit this place Do NOT get seated in her section!!! Be Warned!!!

Usually this place offers consistent quality but lately I find that the food has not been as phenomenal as ir usually is. Today we went all out, foodie style and ordered cheese curds, wilder wedges, boneless wings, and popcorn shrimp. I’ll start with the cheese curds. They are so yummy and one of my top reasons for looking forward to BWW. However I got about a handful of cheese curds for $ 8.79. I find that the price on this should be adjusted. I think maybe it would be more reasonable if it was $ 6 dollars. The portion is just so small and I find that on every visit, the portion just shrinks. For similar price we got the wilder wedges. They aren’t pretty wild. Honestly they just tasted like the usual wedges but with green onion on top and some melted cheese. It comes with a dipping sauce but I did not find it to pair well with each other. However for the price, you get a reasonable portion, more so than the cheese curds. Today my popcorn shrimp was over fried I guess you can say. It was almost like a burnt fried. They were nice and crunchy but the only thing I could taste was the over-fried batter on the shrimp. Our waiter was very nice this evening and on his game but the food was just not up to par with the price. I hope improvements are made, atleast with the portions, and especially on those beloved cheese curds. I guess we’ll see on a future visit.

This BWW does not care much that it serves really low-quality chicken. The sauces are good, the bar is good, the TVs have what you want, and the service is friendly. But the chicken they use is inferior to that I’ve found at at least 20 other BWWs in the lower 48. Here it’s all small, poorly cooked, and overpriced. $ 8.49 for five or six pieces of chicken wings? Wow. I still come on occasion because I prefer the overall atmosphere to Peanut Farm and other sports bars. But the wings are crummy. If a place like WingStop or Quaker Steak ever came to Anchorage, this BWW would really need to upgrade its chicken to match those two chains.

Ugh, meh, ick. The wings are just disgusting. Poor quality, greasy, skimpy sauce, small, and overpriced. And they are too cheap to even serve them on a plate. And for knife and fork wing eaters, the lack of a plate poses a significant challenge. And, of course, you have to flag someone down and beg for silverware. Other menu offerings aren’t much better. Beer offerings are blah. There are several TVs in the bar area. Thus, sports game watching is the big thing here. I just can’t justify ever eating here.
