After getting some errands done throughout the day, I had a couple of hours to put some assignments in for the afternoon. I haven’t been here in the past few months since I always have a habit of driving by this place because it’s right by the side of the road before the traffic lights on Dimond and King St. The remodeling looks to be complete from the last time I was here and they’ve added some modern style chairs and tables for the seating area. There is also a long side display of different coffees from various countries as well as some red armchairs in the corner for relaxing. The menu has been updated with some interesting items to choose from. The Green Tea muffins that I love so much from Moose ala Mode in downtown are also sold here. I decided to go with the Mexican mocha. According to the barista, it is a spiced mocha made with cinnamon. A very delicious and unique drink. This definitely complemented the Green Tea muffin. A lot of the pastries are from local businesses and gluten-free options are plentiful here. The Wi-Fi is fast in this location. When the owners were in the middle of changing this place from Café Vivachi back in October, they couldn’t provide a timetable for when the Wi-Fi was going to be set up. The employees are very friendly and gracious and took it upon themselves to charge me half price for the 20 oz raspberry mocha the last time I was here. It seems like they already have a steady stream of regulars here after being in operation for only a few months. Customer loyalty was evident based on the great service that was provided to the regulars and myself. I’m happy to make this another option of mine for coffee shops on the south side of town in case I get burned out by going to the same one frequently.

I came here after a long shopping trip at baby’s r us and just wanted to relax and have a sandwich and maybe a baked treat. Unfortunately they were just. Ought out 2 weeks prior and had almost no food. They had some pre-made croissants and bags of chips which I got. It was alright, but they just weren’t set up yet. The place looks pretty decent inside, although I know they are undergoing some renovations. I’ll go back after their grand opening and update my review then~

Lovely atmosphere. I absolutely love the tables and chairs, plus there’s a cozy couch area for groups and readers. The service was really friendly and personable and the lunch was great. Got half a tuna melt and a cup of soup and it was great!

What kind of coffee shop doesn’t carry black coffee? This place. An americano is not the same as drip coffee. Don’t call yourself a coffee shop if you don’t carry coffee.

Not great. I ordered the chicken salad and it was basically chicken with a whole lot of mayonnaise. The service was really nice and my food arrived extremely quick.

Had Café Vivachi for lunch today. I was blow away at the great smoothie I had(strawberry banana). My coworker had a banana mango. We both loved the smoothies. They are phenomenal and they don’t add sugar or other crap. As for our sandwiches, not a fan at all. They were quite dried out with no condiments at all. I had the BLT. Easy simple, right?! No. The bacon was chewy, tomatoes were dried out. The sandwich just fell apart. My coworker had the club sandwich. Her sandwich was just the same. Less than favorable. Potato salad was warm. Giving 3 star for the smoothies being amazing. Will only return for the smoothies. Also, a bit pricey for what you get.

Cozy atmosphere with some taste! This is somewhere you could call it your own friendly neighborhood café. I’ve tried 4 different sandwiches and they were all great. I highly recommend it!
