I drove by here earlier today to get some studying done during the afternoon. Unfortunately, the place was closed for business. The lights were off and everything was cleared out. I’m really bummed out. I thought this place was a really good place to hang out and study for a couple of hours The employees were really nice and they had a great selection of teas(I think almost a hundred different flavors). Some of the flavors I tried were the blueberry lemon, rose garden, and breakfast spice. These were great either hot or cold. They had a spacious seating area and there were plans by the owners to hold live music here on the weekends. What a loss.

I was pretty disappointed with my first visit to this establishment. I walked in and no one greeted me. I found it odd they have a menu, but no prices listed. I ordered a tea and a Tundra Salad. She started making my salad and informed me they were out of feta cheese and asked if it was ok to sub parmesan for it instead, I said sure. She then informed me they were out of parmesan so I said no cheese was fine at that point. She gave me a vinegar based dressing instead of the ranch that was listed as the dressing for that salad(I asked for the ranch before I left) and it was missing the artichoke hearts, which I discovered only when I opened it to eat at lunch time back at my office. I just feel like when I spend my money I at least want a salad that comes with the ingredients that it says it comes with. At this point I would have just ordered a house salad and paid less.

The tea was great! My soup was lukewarm, the roast beef in my sandwich tasted iffy – possibly old. The bread was good. The customer service meh. Young kids that did not seem interested in our business and just nonchalant. Not rude, just not attentive to our needs, welcoming or cheerful. Customer service is becoming a lost art.

I saw a coupon in the mail, so I decided to check this place out. They were very welcoming and ready to help with any questions about their huge wall of different teas. I did not have time to decide which tea to choose, so I just ordered some lunch for myself and a co-worker, also grabbing a few scones for the office to share. Everything was DEVOURED! I just went back in today for lunch(delicious yet again) and there was a free drink with a sandwich purchase, which I took up and ordered an iced tea. This will be my new morning stop on the way to work. I like tea and it is great to have an alternative to coffee and energy drinks. I can hardly wait to try more flavors!

I love that this place will be open at 5am! I am an early bird shift worker so I intend in stopping by before work for my coffee, and fresh made food. Their scones are homemade in house(among other bakery items). They have a make your own sandwich menu. My favorite part is that so far I have been able to order a breakfast sandwich well after noon. I’m off the mindset that breakfast is good with coffee or tea at any time of day! Their tea bar is something to gawk at. Seriously… It is impressive. There is talk of having local musicians here as well. So far they are on Facebook, and have a website too. The business was just opened, but their hospitality is genuine. I’m sure things may change, but I am personally stoked to see watch this homegrown business bloom!
