summary: A pretty solid Korean place in a town filled with pretty solid Korean places. Corea Blue is another great choice in the Muldoon area, a place filled with great ethnic choices. The have the standard Korean fair, mainly hot pots and and Korean BBQ, all served with delicious little appetizerettes(banchan). The ambiance is… well, there’s not much. It’s a small spartan room with scant decoration and pet store lighting, and two very small windows. The food is very good, similar to many other Korean joints in town. There’s nothing that really puts it over the top though, in my humble opinion. And the prices seem a bit high. Weird observation: my dining mate’s hot pot came out in what looked like a white glass cereal bowl instead of the regular black stone pot. No idea why. The other tables had the black pots. She was bummed that the rice crust was not present because of this, I would have been too.

Best seafood bibimbop I’ve ever had! Omg it was delicious! BUT, the worst tofu soup I’ve had also. It just wasn’t good. Very plain and bland. The galbi was pretty good. Chicken bulgolgi was ok, it wasn’t bad. Overall, I recommend the seafood bibimbop. If you’re wanting tofu soup, go to tofu house!

It’s a little off the beaten path, and perhaps a little outside mosts comfort zone, but worth it for those who love trying authentic ethnic foods. The food is amazingly good, and I have no idea why this spot hasn’t caught on yet. Worth a try!

Amazingly good. I had Dolsot jeonju bibimbap. Every time I’ve come here its been great. And it’s always empty WTF why don’t more people come here?

Not very good. Food is just ok. The amount of food is less than other Korean Restaurants give. There are much better places in town. Not impressed with atmosphere and service either.

«It’s just like we’re in Korea,» said my husband upon entering Corea Blue for dinner recently(my hubby lived in Korea for a few years and knows authentic Korean food.) The food was delicious and we felt right at home(super welcomed) by the awesome family who owns/runs the place. I highly recommend! This place is better than VIP! We’ll be going back here again and again.

Some of the best food my dinner companion and I have had in Anchorage. The bibimbap is served in hot stone bowls so you get the delicious rice crust! Also the banchan spread is impressive and delectable. Definitely worth the price, remember this is Anchorage. Don’t be put off by the location, the food and service outshines it.

Small location but food was fresh and cooked to prediction. Tender meat and good flavor, next time I would order my meal with more spice. Service was not fast but good nonetheless.

Fantastic Anchorage Surprise! This restaurant is unpretentious in all the right ways. We walked in not knowing what to expect. The bibimbap is excellent and a total visual delight. The sides, which include, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and bean sprouts offer an excellent compliment to the heat of the entrée. If you’re struggling with a decision, ask for a recommendation; you will not be disappointed. Clean and simple restaurant that will satisfy!

This place took me back 20 years to the time I was stationed in Korea. I had the Del Sol Bibimbap(forgive me if I spelled that wrong), but an better name for it is — deliciousness. All the sides were great too!

Very nice folks and delicious food. We went for lunch and the bulgogi was fantastic. The kimchi was exactly the way I like it… not real mushy, but a good kick of garlic. The sides were all good, but of course I had my preferences and mercilessly destroyed my favorites. The service is not slow, but it is also not a place for a very quick in and out either. I was able to get in and out in about 45 minutes with a nice pace. I thought the place was clean and comfortable. All in all, I’d go back when in the mood for Korean.

Yummy! I’m not sure what the name of my plate was, maybe Jap Choi. Lower left corner of the menu. Yummy!!! I came here because Hacienda was FULL. Wow what a good thing to happen! Enjoy!

The food in this place is delicious, it is a little bit pricy compared to other places, but the portions and the food are worth the money. This is for sure my favorite Asian restaurant in town.

Wonderful food and a very comfortable and home-like atmosphere. Will definitely go back and look forward to it but the price is a bit high. Food quality and quantity, along with the friendly staff justifies it for me though.

We ate there yesterday and were treated as family! Great food and not busy at lunchtime. I never had bulgogi from pork before and marinated tender and very tasty. We ordered the seafood pancake and it was wonderful with only enough pancake to hold it together. Octopus was out but we had the squid and lots of tasty tentacles. Bigger pieces well scored so tender and great. Lots of veggies with it and not too hot. Kimchi was varied homemade. Nice variety and very good. Highly recommended!

I went in for lunch on Friday, and the food was excellent as usual. They have lunch specials, and I had the Kalbi, it was kind of sweet but not too bad, I recommend the place if you on a budge, the prices were reasonable and its kind of hidden away in a strip mall, so You will have to look for it to find it. But once found you won’t forget.

Clean, delicious, homemade Korean food. If I could afford to eat here two to three times a week I would. I am critical of my Korean cuisine and I have had almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed yet

YUMYUMYUM Best mandu(dumplings) I’ve ever had in my life. I got the mandu/rice cake soup for my sick tummy and I felt much better after eating it. Just like mom’s chicken soup. My sweetie got an excellent kalbi with some perfect carmelized onions. The house soju was delish. They offer 8 types of banchan, all of which were really delicious. I’m super picky about anything involving fish and even I, queen picky pants, liked the fish cake banchan. They also had kimchee, cucumber kimchee, some kinda delicious pickeled root, sesame potatoes, creamy broccoli, sesame oil bean sprouts and some green stuff. LOL It was all really good. Service was SUPER slow though. I wouldn’t have minded the long wait so much if they had brought out the banchan to hold us over. But we waited a half hour for our food with nothing to munch on while we waited. But they make every order from scratch, so the wait is understandable. This really is food like mom makes! Homemade and satisfying. Did I mention YUM? Note: Corea Blue is SUPER small, so I wouldn’t recommend going in with a big group without calling first or you might wait for your food for a really long time.
