I gave this place one star because there is no option for no stars. I ordered the Chicken Lo mein and it was awful. The noodles we mushy and the chicken texture and flavor was bad enough to make me gag, ultimately making me question wether or not I had actually eaten chicken. When we went to pay for my boyfriends meal(beef bulgogi, which was passable) I advised the woman that I would not be paying for mine and she argued with me! We will not be returning.

My chicken yakisoba was very saucey, and the sauce had a weird flavor to it. Almost like cinnamon or nutmeg? Whatever it was, didn’t mesh well with noodles. also, the chicken was questionable, didn’t quite taste like chicken. When my second bite was worst than the first I gave up. My friend ordered chicken pad Thai and had similar concerns about the chicken. Her pad Thai was also a strange bright orange color. Almost neon. We had her kid with us who liked her noodle soup, so gave 2 stars

Husband had chicken katsu. I had pad thai. Enjoyed the handmade crab Rangoon appetizers. Pleasantly surprised when served miso broth with a small plate of pickled cabbage, green beans and flat bread pieces before the appetizer. They were light and full of fresh flavor as were our entrees. I was glad to see that there was dine in seating. The name lead me to believe it was like Noodles and Co. Not the case! Good size menu with many different options. Portions were generous. We will definitely be back!!!

The food was okay. Thought they would have Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen but they didn’t. Spring rolls don’t have much inside; no shrimp or anything so they were fairly bland. I did like the Chicken Noodle soup, though.

Been here a couple times and it has been very, very good. First time dined in, second time carried out. Food is ready quickly and is delicious. When dining in, we also got some soups and appetizers that came with the meal. Small, unsuspecting little place, but I’d definitely recommend it.

Love this place. I get the pad thai with shrimp and it’s great. The owner is nice. She remembers I don’t like peanuts on the top so the last time I ordered it to go she opened it before I left to make sure there were no peanuts on it. Another time I walked to the Redbox across the street and on my way back she was already walking my order out to me. They are also fast and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my to go orders.

Overall Rating: 3.5 stars Quick service, so-so food. Price was a bit steep around $ 14 up to $ 18 for rice meals. Though their serving was huge, they still lacked taste. One could easily tell that it was a fusion of cuisines with korean, chinese, thai and japanese dishes. As for the food we ordered, I had the General Tso’s Chicken which was just fair, a little sweet for my taste. Boyfriend had the Galbi/Kalbi(korean short rib). It was good, tender and had the flavours of authentic korean. I’d go back for their Korean Short Rib.

Although it is a little pricey, it’s a really nice quiet restaurant with amazing food! The food I have tried here I have loved! The owner is very friendly which makes for a very enjoyable experience. All around a great place for mixed Asian food.

This is one of the worst place I’ve eaten since moving to Anchorage 20 years ago I ordered hot and sour soup and I’m not sure but I think they put either catchup or tomato soup to make the sauce it was gross. My wife had the Temporel with the pad Thai and she said you had something strange in the sauce. it was served with some shrimp tempura and a piece of potato that was cold and saturated with whatever oil they coded in and then let it get cold. It’s probably not someplace we will ever frequent again I hope others read this and take it with a grain of salt it might’ve been just a bad day in the kitchen

For the love of gawd the food is horrible. As soon as I tasted the banchan I knew I was in trouble. Awful awful awful. The seafood pancake was dry and tasteless, the gamcha jorim was also tasteless, and oh yes the broccoli was uh… tasteless. Hmm I detect a theme here. The miso was aight. I wasn’t feeling well the day of my visit, so I had gone in with the intention of getting the chicken noodle soup. I let the server talk me out of it. Mistake! !! I ordered the noodles with black bean sauce. Dear lord, I couldn’t choke it down. To be polite I asked for it to go. When I went to pick up my honey, he smelled it on my clothes and asked me why I stunk so bad. When he got in the car where the leftovers were he was super grossed out. He asked me why I didn’t just throw them away immediately.. I was asking myself the same thing. The smell and texture of the food was just abhorrent. Too bad because the place is cute inside. But forget it because the food is awful with a capital A.

Pleasantly surprised, I had read all these bad reviews and finally gave it a try. Well oh well, have these people left bad reviews because this place is so good that they want to keep it to themselves? One think that strikes as a persisting theme in these reviews is how bland the food is and how the noodles are slimy. Well if you are into authentic Chinese food, the flavors should not be some sweet sauce or a blast or salt. Some of the noodles are made in house. I had the pleasure to get the red bean noodles, and those are made in house. Hands down the best Asian noodles I have had. The service was delightful, our lady waitress was a total sweetheart, she kept an eye on us and was very pleasant to us. We will be definitively be back!

Went here for lunch a few days ago. Great service and delicious food. It was the first time my coworkers had tried Korean food and the were very impressed.

Fast service but horrible noodles. Boyfriend ordered pad Thai and noodles were slimey, I ordered thin spicy noodles and it was ice cold with bland flavoring. Would not recommend going to this place.

Small clean quiet place. Friendly host. Food however left a lot to be desired. I ordered the tofu pad Thai. Three small pieces of rubbery tofu on a pile of noodles that tasted like fish sauce and not much else. I will try it again because I think it has potential but will not be ordering pad Thai again.

Very surprised and pleased with this place. I agree it is a bit pricey but we ate every bite. The décor isn’t great and the table and chairs are pretty ricketty.

Not sure what to rate this place. On one hand the dumplings were fairly good, but the noodles were very blah and since it’s called Noodle World, I think it gets one star.

Quality food, but pricey. I ordered the spicy seafood soup which was tasty, but not terribly spicy. Service was decent, considering it was fairly empty for a weekday lunch. Good for a quick lunch, but average.

So much promise but the quality was subpar. The pad thai might have been the best but its very spotty at best. The jap chae noodles were undercooked! tough and chewy! The black bean noodle was saucy but a bit under seasoned! The menu is a bit random with lots of noodles from different asian cultures but most of the menu looks Korean. The pickled side dishes were ok and they gave 4 – 5 varieties with a good quantity for 4 ppl.

Ordered their pad thai and man… I wasn’t sure if I was eating pad thai or a noodle of some concoction. There was just too many things in the pad thai that made the dish too crazy. Don’t you know? Sometimes keeping it simple is the key. The dish lacked flavor and it was just too water-y. A friend ordered the black bean noodles(jjajangmyun) which was just a-okay. I don’t know, but just from the pad thai itself, I feel like this place is mediocre.
