Small brewery and the parking can be a little tight but there was a lot of lovely people there and my husband enjoyed their beer.

Cheap pints, great selection, and friendly staff. Worth a visit if you are a fan of their bottle and can offerings, as they have plenty more to offer on tap that you can’t get elsewhere.

The beers here are decent. They have 6 beers on tap for $ 3.75 a glass– the cheapest craft draft I’ve seen. The décor inside could be better. But the atmosphere was pretty good on a Tuesday night.

Great place to drink at least two beers. Free popcorn(self serve). This place has awesome beers and the sitting area feels like you are on the porch of an old friend.

An unpretentious brewery specializing in basic styles. The space is small, but they are working on expanding upstairs. The staff is friendly amd the beer is a great value. $ 3.75 per pint!

Great beer for a cheap price. If they have more seating I would give them a five star. They close early around 8pm due to the law so you can’t blame them for that. But the seating is the issue. If they make benches next to the wall, it would be awesome

King Street Brewing is a great little brewery, and probably one of the least-well-known of the Anchorage-based breweries outside of Alaska. It’s a shame, because I think their IPA is the best straight-up IPA of any of the Alaskan breweries! That’s right, I said it. As a bonus, it often comes in 16 oz cans. But these aren’t any 16oz cans, the WHOLETOPOFTHEMPOPSOFF. It’s like having a portable, aluminum pint glass in your hand, pretty slick! This is a simple, humble spot located in a warehouse-y area of town. Due to ridiculously strict laws, they must close at 8pm, and cannot allow dancing(really, look it up!) BUT, the folks that work here are fantastic. They usually have a one or two seasonal beers on draft that are hard-to-impossible to find outside the brewery. You can also get growlers filled, or buy bottles of some of their rarer beers. They aren’t stingy about letting you sample until you find something you like, as all good breweries should be. I went here for AK beer week and got a tour. I was shocked at how small their operation is! This makes them all the more impressive. They took joy in answering my annoying, geeky questions. I was shocked by how hands-on their canning«line» is. It’s incredible they are able to make those aforementioned aluminum pints profitable! They also had FREEFOOD here for AK beer week. How can you beat that?

We’ve been here a couple times and we’ve enjoyed it each visit. It’s a cozy little tasting room with great people and AWESOME beer! The tasting room is a bit small and they don’t serve food, however they have a popcorn machine and allow you to bring in outside food! Last time we were there, it was during AK Beer Week, and we were treated to a tour of the brewing area by the head Brewmaster. He was super knowledgeable and enjoyed answering everyone’s questions. They have the cutest little canning line! It was impressive to see the quantity that they can produce on such a small canning line = my mind blown! Now for the most important part… the beer! IPA lovers the King Street IPA is the perfect example of a full bodied beer that won’t nuke your taste buds. For the darker beer lovers, their Stout is pretty tasty, it’s not too heavy and has a pretty good flavor profile to it. BTW: I just got word from their head brewer during my AK Beer Fest tour that they are working on having a regular Porter! All in all this place is solid; good beer, good space, good people!

As others have said, this is super minimalist — a few outdoor-style chairs and tables and a popper for popcorn to snack on. It’s worth dropping by with some friends to try a flight and decide on what to fill your growler with. It’s not really an atmosphere that encourages hanging out, so I’m not sure I would be a regular barfly here even if it was local. That said, the beers were tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly. As a growler filling station, it’s great.

A great group of people and free popcorn. SCORE. Sounds like the IPA is the beer to have.

Love their selection here! Delicious in all categories and their mixes are awesome. Not a lot of seating and is pretty full most of the time also not a lot of parking but worth it once you figure it out and get that sweet first cold drink of brewski :) only thing that got me was the times wish I woulda known they didn’t open till three on Mondays tried to get a growler filled on my way home from work and to be so close yet so far was kinda heartbreaking had to go for my backup plan and get my king st fix at gold rush fill station lol

It’s not the best beer in Anchorage, but all their offerings are solid choices and tasty. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There’s no food or restaurant here. There’s a small tasting room with a few tables and chairs. It’s a nice, completely laid back spot to sip a pint or enjoy a sampler of their multiple options.

Beer is great! Staff is helpful and super cool. Went to many local breweries in Anchorage and Kenai and these guys top the list.

A local favorite King Street keeps craft beer simple. The tasting room is very small and has five tables total. The tables are the type that belong on a patio but that isn’t why you visit King Street. You visit for the beer! I recommend the IPA or the Stout. All the beers at King Street are great though. If you love craft beer this is a place you should check out.

Probably my favorite brewery at the moment. Excellent Pilsner and their Irish Stout is full-bodied with a perfect level of carbonation. They do 32 oz. growler fills and while they don’t have anything in the way of food as Midnight Sun does, they do allow you to bring in your own food and just chill there, if so desired. That being said, it’s kinda crappy in terms of atmosphere, but I appreciate the no-nonsense setup. Customer service is generally pretty great, and the employees aren’t condescending in any way. Looking forward to seeing them expand their operation someday!

Not much to the place… yet… but it is still new. New brewery with some yummy beers. King Street Hefeweizen is now our favorite Hef. You can bring a picnic lunch and sample beers. We have meet up with a group twice at KSB and it was fun. Eventually they may be able to have a better«lounge» area… for now, we will keep popping in for yummy beer…

This isn’t much of a destination, but it’s a great place to fill up a growler or two with some bright, well-balanced beer. The guys behind the counter are great at explaining and providing tastes, and I’ve never tasted anything I didn’t want to keep drinking.

A friend mentioned this place to me the other day and my ears perked up. What? Another local craft beer maker in town? Being a home brewer myself, I thought it deserves investigation. I was pleasantly surprised when I found a one gallon growler was going for only $ 11.00. That’s 128 ounces of beer. Heck you will pay $ 10.00 for 72 ounces in a six pack and that’s beer that’s been sitting on a shelf of in transit for at least two or three months. When I home brew, it costs me about $ 20.00 for the ingredients to brew a five gallon batch. That’s getting close to a 50⁄50 tradeoff when you think about all the time and effort to home brew. The beer itself is very good. Fresh beer is always better than bottled of canned. Plus, how much greener can you get? No bottles, no cans, just bring your growler to the store, filler up, and off you go. Oh, and if you are thinking about Midnight Sun just a few miles to the east? Well at King Street you can find a parking place, a place to sit and they won’t ignore you at the counter like they do at Midnight Sun. I’ll pick King Street any day of the week.

Tasty brews, especially their heff and winter seasonal. Plus a knowledgeable staff! Don’t expect a lot of to-do with the beer(but the do serve pretzels along with it). It’s a simple brewery, that executes their beer well.
