This place was absolutely saved by the burger. I joined a friend here for a quick dinner before we went out for the night. I haven’t been here for awhile, but it was one of my childhood and young adult favorite locations. We were not seated right away as the 2 gals upfront were too involved in making a match with a couple of gentlemen that were hanging out up front. After being taken to our table we were greeted by our server, Jayden. He was a young kid and pleasant enough, but was brand new and struggled a little bit with the menu. He took our drink order quickly and came back with the beverages. He then took our dinner order. Ordered the Smoke & Pepper-Bacon Signature Burger. The food took quite awhile to get to our table and the restaurant was not overly busy in my opinion. The burger itself however, was absolutely outstanding and was everything I expected when it did arrive! It is really a shame that while the service was not on par with the food :(. I probably will not frequent this location often, but it is not going to be counted out for maybe a quick lunch.

I posted a bad review about 6 months ago because we waited for a very long time in a completely dead restaurant and were never helped, upon writing it I was contacted by the company and the owner/operator. They sent me a 25 dollar gift card and an apology. This intrigued me as most owners don’t care enough about their customers. We went back this week and were served by a waitress named Nicole. She was soooo fantastic. The service was amazing. Our food was delicious. Thank you red robin for improving and thank you to the owner for caring! I wish more places cared like this. We will be back!

Don’t waste your time or your money! AWFUL service actually some of the worse service I’ve ever experienced! We waited 10 mins to be spoken too. We waited 17 to receive our drinks after placing our order and 30 before our food arrived. Keep in mind this was 3:00 in the afternoon! When asked for fries with our drinks we were told by the server«I will try my best»…WHAT??? One of the main reasons you go to Red Robbin is to enjoy the BOTTOMLESS fries while waiting. The only thing that saved this experience was the buss server Corrine. She not only brought our food but got us refills, napkins, sauce & silverware. Everything our server should have done as its her job. I wish I could call her out by name but I don’t know it she didn’t even introduce herself! She didn’t speak to us after she took our order… pathetic!!! Exactly why the tip went directly into Corrine’s hands! I will never go back and suggest you try Wee B’s on the South side, now that’s a fresh made to order burger with service!

The food is very delicious. The bottomless fries are excellent but good luck getting someone to come back to your table to give them to you. The servers have always been very friendly, just not attentive, or possibly stretched so thin that it compromises customer service. I’ve been there multiple times and had to go find someone for drink and fry refills.

I decided to come down here for lunch since it has been years the last time I was here… maybe 2003 and to treat myself after abstaining from burgers and pizzas for about a week and a half when I returned to the gym. This is one of the few remaining establishments on Dimond that have been around since the 1980’s along with the Burger King, Dimond Center, and Costco. This location is right next to the Schlotzky’s Deli along the train tracks opposite the Value Village. The building looks pretty much the same outside as well as the interior inside with just a few minor remodeling changes over the years. The game room is still in the same spot minus the old-school arcade games I would spend a couple of hours playing as a kid in the 80’s while my mom grew impatient and we would leave before I had a chance to beat my high score on Galaga. The employee at the front was quick to greet me and I told him I would rather sit in the bar area and said feel free to sit wherever I want. Within a couple of minutes, I was greeted by my server Mike who offered me a menu and was quick to serve my drink. I decided to try the Southern Charm Burger which was a ½ lb. Black Angus beef patty with a brown sugar glaze, candied bacon, honey BBQ sauce, sharp Cheddar, and caramelized onion on a toasted Ciabatta bun. This of course came with the bottomless steak fries. Here is where the three stars came in rather than the four I originally wanted to give this place. My server was quick to take my order, maybe a little too quick and left before I had the chance to tell him I wanted to substitute the steak fries with sweet potato fries. He disappeared for a few minutes and I decided to go with what I had since I was too hungry to wait a little bit longer to change my order. The burger was delicious with the patty cooked at a perfect medium and ample onions and cheddar added to the burger. The steak fries were a disappointment. They weren’t that hot and I’m usually not a fan of thick style fries. I always prefer thin cut fries or onion rings to go with my burger. I didn’t even have a chance to ask about the onion rings since he made the assumption that I was going to go with the steak fries before running off. Since the burger was very good and I needed some brain food for studying, this was a minor issue with me and I would visit this place again since they have added some new items to their menu. Some of the other menu items I wanted to sample were the Bleu Ribbon burger(steak sauce, chipotle aioli, blue cheese, and onion straws), the A-1 Peppercorn(hardwood-smoked bacon, A-1 peppercorn spread, melted Pepper Jack, and onion straws on a toasted onion bun), Guacamole Bacon(guac, bacon, Swiss, onions, and mayo), and the Black & Bleu Burger(blackened portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, house-made Bleu Cheese sauce, and blue cheese crumbles with Dijon sauce on a toasted Ciabatta bun). There are also a couple of dessert items that caught my attention(although I shouldn’t be ordering this while I’m focusing on cardio) are the Chocolate Fruffles(fudge brownie sticks dipped in dark chocolate and dusted with French sea salt made to look like fries with a side of berry ketchup for dipping as well as the Towering Doh! Ring which is a tower of 8 Cronuts made to look like an onion ring tower served with hot fudge and berry sauces) if I decide to throw away any progress I made at the gym so far.

The service was extremely slow and the food was was not worth the long wait. It seemed like the server was spread way too thin with a huge section. This was a prime time on a Sunday. I would expect the restaurant to be prepared or if they were short staffed not overload the waiters. We never saw a manager and our server who clearly had way too many tables, bless her heart; never got a helping hand from anyone. No one other than her seemed to be in a hurry. Management definitely should have been around and helping.

The good news– This place makes a decent burger, good drinks, and is a great place to bring the kids. The bad news– Service is slow and the place is a tad dingy with a side of mystery smell. Perhaps it’s just years and years worth of poor cleaning. Either way, the place is always packed at night so they must be doing something right.

Poor service I have ever had in Anchorage. Totally ignored you. Pretzel appetizer had no flavor and one was raw. Server laughed and apologized.

Yummy food. The burgers are made to order, teeny bit of fries but they are unlimited so you can always get more if you’re willing to wait for them. Creepy server; he forced us to order drinks before we could even take our coats off and sit down. I will definitely go back though.

Just ordered drinks, my husband ordered their unlimited root beer float & this is what he got, where’s the root beer? For dinner I ordered a guacamole burger. The burger tasted like a frozen patty. Bummed

Just don’t. First time was cause I was curious. I got a burger that was so squishy and gross, I said I’d never go back. But then the second time I had a gift card, so I was obliged to use it. The service was spotty, they kept forgetting stuff. They weren’t terribly busy so I couldn’t really excuse the poor service. The food was really, really mediocre. It’s like fast food at restaurant prices, which I find ludicrous. I can recommend their drinks and milkshakes, but that’s about it. I’m done with Red Robin.

So — the *new* general manager(?) from this Red Robin just spent a lot of energy getting ahold of me — and I was impressed. She took the time to explain that things hadn’t met RR standards and she assured me things were going to be made right — and that actually goes a lot further than a free meal or a gift card tossed at me. Just based on a sincere phone call from Trish, I’m going back. Tonight. Any other business owners take note — customer service! I show up for food but come back for the treatment & service.

I’m a little late but I wanted to do an updated review because someone did contact me in just a day through here by message, and then a manager called me personally not even two days later. We spoke about my experience and she was very professional and sincere about it and even offered me a gift card which I received just a couple days after our conversation. Enclosed with the gift card was a letter written by their Vice President stating that they’ve addressed what had happened with their team members. It’s this kind of customer care/service that keeps a business thriving. Shows they care and believe in maintaining the highest standard of quality and service. It’s much appreciated and even though I have not had the chance to go back just yet, I’ll be putting that gift card to use very soon:). Pleasantly surprised!

We were there last evening(April 21, 2015). I had not been in years and will not go back. Great company so we still had a good time. The food was not good but I knew that. The service was absolutely horrible. The waitress was a sweet natured young woman but that is all I can say. What is the use of having«bottomless» fries if no one ever comes back and offers more? We had no flatware at the table(this may be how they do things). The soup came with a spoon in the bowl but the salad did not come with a fork. I had to ask for flatware. I asked for it and was asked how many I wanted !!! I said two forks and one knife please. We got two knives and one fork. I ate my burger and fries without a fork since of course I gave the fork to the salad eater. I am not that particular but I do require flatware — especially if I ask for it. And really I didn’t need more fries but… it would have been nice to have been asked. As I said I will not be back. A few of us were looking for a good place to meet once a week. I guess we will keep looking.

Love the Onion Rings! The main reason we go HAHA I think they have to work on the kiosk that you use to pay. I have a royalty card and tried to put my phone number in and it said it was not valid? When I got home I checked my account and it was the right phone number, so I had to email my receipt and have someone add it to my account, kind of a pain but will still go back, especially for my free birthday burger: D Won’t get the Chocolate Fruffles again, kind of disappointed, seemed like they just pulled them out of the freezer.

This is just you large corporation burger joint. Their burgers are alright… I prefer local burger joints with fresher ingredients. As far as service goes, they’ve been really friendly and that’s why I gave them three stars.

Nice place for a burger and beer with the kids. Not the best burgers in town but definitely not bad! Always a good place for groups that are unsure what they want to eat, because honestly who doesn’t like a burger lol

I am a huge fan of Red Robin, their steak fries are to die for with that seasoning of theirs. I recently tried their pasta and was impressed that it wasn’t runny or al dente. It was actually pretty tasty. There burgers don’t come small and can feed two if your willing to share. Most people do not realize that the fries aren’t the only bottomless side, their broccoli and other items are bottomless including the kids Macaroni and cheese… YES its bottomless! The Salted Caramel shake is yummy! This place, however, ISNOT easy on your wallet. I went their the other night and got a Freckled Lemonade, an appetizer, two entrees, a kids meal and one shake and I walked out spending $ 70.00. I do like the convenience of paying at the table, and if you want to occupy your kiddo you can get unlimited games for $ 1.99. They also have balloons for them at their departure :) I will still come here, i like their food :)
