This place made me love gyros. Lamb western is my favorite, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Love Zorbas! run by a husband wife team and their step daughter. The Tzatziki sauce is one of a kind made with all things magical(I.e. onions and garlic) I order extra sides of the sauce and put it on salmon(recommended by the husband and wife team) its amazing. Such a cute little place. I would recommend ordering a side of pita bread and sauce though seems that 1 gyro may not fill up most people!

Great place for the price! Very cheap and very tasty! If you want a quick inexpensive lunch, this is the spot. Would recommend to anyone. The owner was also super friendly. If the food was just ok we probably would have given it a second chance simply because he was a pleasant, like able guy, but the food was absolutely delicious.

I have always heard very good things about this place but have never had the pleasure of eating their food. I have now tried their authentic lamb gyro and their chicken gyro, both with the works; tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. I’m always in for a good gyro and they did not disappoint. I also had the pleasure of having a good laugh and getting great advice from the two owners who have been married for over 40 years. The gentleman asked me if I knew what it took to have a marriage last 40 years… He answered with, «Yes dear.» I will now forever remember this place for the great food they provided and a great laugh!

Smallest gyro I have ever seen I took me a half hour to find it and was not impressed tasted like store bought gyro meat.

This place is awesome. The couple that run the business make a big effort to get your order correct especially when you have modifications. They are very welcoming and nice! They even gave my dog some lamb! It is inexpensive and you get a lot of food for the price. The tzaki sauce is some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend for a quick lunch!

If you want a quick, tasty, grab-n-go Gyro: this is your place. The staff are very friendly and the gyros are well-made. They always ask me about my day and seem to really care. Why only 3-stars? The portions are just too tiny for me. Maybe offer a larger Gyro option? Protip: Friday is Falafel Friday. Falafel. Only available on Fridays!

I went here after work on a friday when I really did not feel like cooking. Knowing it closes at 6pm, I dashed over after work and got there around 5:25pm. I was a little anxious about finding the place, but if you turn right on the street after the entry to Wells Fargo on Northern Lights, it’s pretty easy to spot. Service: Excellent. When I pulled up to the drive through there were two cars in front of me. But while I was waiting two different staff came out to take my order to speed along the process. When I pulled up to claim my order, the woman apologized profusely for the long delay(it was probably about 12 – 15 minutes waiting in the drive through) and explained that someone had just placed a large delivery order. She threw in a free sample of the tzatziki sauce with chips while she put the final touches on my order AND a free piece of baklava when I was getting ready to leave. Food: Excellent as well. I had the falafel(which they only serve on Fridays) and I thought it was delicious. I thought the falafel could have been a little crisper, but there was a good ratio of falafel to pita to toppings. And the tzatziki is just as good as everyone says. And at $ 7 I thought it was a bargain. The baklava wasn’t the best I had(too much phyllo too little filling), so I’d probably skip it, but I will be back to try the gyro!

Food was great for the price! $ 6 gyros are definitely on the cheaper end for eateries in Alaska. There tzatziki sauce is a must-have~ light, refreshing, and goes well with whatever you’re having on the menu. Lady recommmended the lamb gyros, which were great. Comes with tomatoes and onions as well. My brother got the reindeer sausage which was also great. Delicious and nothing too gamey. Place is a random looking mobile-like stand on the side of the road. Note that it’s a drive-thru. Korean lady running the place is really nice! The first Alaskan we met upon arriving, and a great way to be welcomed into the state :)

The chicken and lamb gyros were absolutely delicious and the homemade taziki sauce is so so good. The baklava isn’t the best I’ve had but still pretty decent. Definitely going back!

By far and away best gyros in town! Amazing tzitiki sauce. They do prefer cash which can be a pain, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished they were open later, but the food is well worth it. The lady who runs it is awesome, super friendly.

We have ordered from these folks a few times for lunch now. I can only review their Gyro’s as that is the only thing I have ever had from there. I think their lamb gyro’s are not bad. They are small though, just a little larger then a medium taco. They are your typical gyro’s with the thin sliced lamb meat, onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. The pita bread is soft and they are tasty, however I think they are expensive for the size. Having had amazing gyro’s at Pizza Olympia, with lots of thick seasoned lamb, and where you can get a huge one for $ 11.00, I think $ 8.00 for a medium sized gyro is rather spendy. I can easily eat two of these before getting full and one is just not enough to fill me up for lunch. I can’t really say anything bad about their flavor, they are good, just not what I would consider outstanding.

Hands down the best gyros in Anchorage. Been going there for lunch almost every day. The homemade white sauce(cucumber) makes it so much better.

I was really disappointed to find out that their gyro meat was frozen :/I have yet to find a place in anchorage that sell 100% authentic gyros. All in all the gyro wasn’t that bad, it was pretty good actually. The price is reasonable for what you’re getting. I called for delivery and the driver told me he was too far and couldn’t deliver to me at the moment, which was odd and awkward, so we picked up instead. I would recommend getting more drivers and real gyro meat!

I was just completely stoked about trying this place out based on the reviews. If anything has Gyro in it, i’m down. My experience: It was easy to find thanks to a Unilocaler who so meticulously placed their location: D I actually only waited about ten minutes for a car in front of me, and it appeared they had at least seven orders. So amazing time on the fly for that many orders and me only waiting maybe that ten minutes(was probably less as i was drooling just smelling the aroma and just waiting for my highly anticipated Gyro!) I ordered the Lamb Gyro with chips and soda. They do have coke products so you pepsi drinkers I am so so truely sorry, i got a dr. pepper and did not betray my poor pepsi. The gyro comes with tomato and onion(i was asked if i wanted these items, of course!) I also asked for extra sauce. This thing was phenomenal, I savored every bite of its juicy, amazing, flavorful sauce and soft soft bread. I cannot wait to come back here. I was just told that they have falafel Fridays and its fantastic, i’ve never had falafel but i want to try it, especially since it is from there… so next Friday it may be on… I will for sure update my review. You MUST try this place, it should be on your bucket list of things to visit in Anchorage.
