Unless you have all day to drink warm draft beer while you wait for your, at best, mediocre food, eat anywhere else.

Used to go weekly for trivia night. You would think that on that type of evening bar service would be at its best. No. Drinks from the bar always take more that 15 minutes to receive. Servers are hanging out back smoking while I sit around waiting on them. Manager is sloppy and unprofessional. And all this is over priced for just average food.

This Applebee’s is terrible. The food was undercooked and over seasoned. I ordered a quesadilla burger well done and it was pink. I sent it back and again it was still raw. My husband ordered bourbon street chicken and shrimp and it was over seasoned and not cooked well. I stopped eating there for years because of the quality but thought I would try it today. Big mistake!!!

This is the best of the major American dining chains in Anderson. There is always a good amount of tables filled yet I never have a long wait to be seated. Food is well prepared and always what you expect from a place like this. Not going the full monty in stars as I feel five stars should be saved for a place that is truly special. As is this is one place worth checking out for a date to get out of the house. It is good and clean therefore it is worth your time and money.
