Good value for so-so food. Very slow service. If it weren’t for the large selection of sides and the great $ 5 price(for an entrée, two sides and a large drink), I would have given this place 2 stars at best. Another value is that you can upgrade the drink to a shake for just $ 1 more.

Rude employees. The girl taking our order was unhelpful and rolled her eyes whenever a question was asked. Her answers dripped with sarcasm. Food was just ok and did nothing to overcome the poor treatment… I’ll pass on ever coming back.

The girl that took my order was EXTREMELY rude and I also got cheese on my burger(which I realized upon getting home and seeing my burger and check) which I was charged extra for, and then could not eat because I’m allergic to dairy and never asked for cheese. Normally I would not be angry because I work in the service industry but the girl who was working was rude and apparently was only looking to charge her patrons extra money despite what they actually wanted. I hope cookout enjoys that extra 40 cents because I would have gladly paid that 40 cents for a burger I could have actually eaten.

Welcome to cook out, home of the cook out burger, may they take your order?! Excellent fast food. Not great service tho…

Service was fast, order was accurate. Food was… bland. It was hot and fresh but I would expect a burger with cheddar, onions, and bacon to taste like… something. This tiny burger had zero flavor. Nothing. I couldn’t even taste the meat. Being my first visit to a CookOut I had high hopes. I guess coming from a part of the country that has Braums I’m spoiled. Should have went to Hardees down the road. At least I’d be full.

The cookout tray was delicious. I ordered the double burger cheddar style with fries and nuggets. It all came out fresh and hot.

Throughly enjoyed the teenage attitudes behind the counter as well as my broken table out front covered in trash. The milkshakes were mediocre. Wouldn’t recommend this joint.

The shakes are great!!! For the money this is a really good place to eat… Main item, two sides & a drink for $ 5.00

I tried this place and was very under-whelmed by the bland taste of the burger. It could have used more seasoning. It was my first time there and I wanted to love it. But I did not. I had heard so many good reviews and I went here after work… just not very impressed. The shakes are good. The fries were average.

Good food, good price. The portions can be little small. I don’t love the Christian music but its just background. The place seem clean and the staff is friendly. Plus they have Cheer Wine on tap for my hubby!

We swing through fairly often. Wish they could do something about the crowd that is there on the weekends. We know completely avoid going because of the past 2 issues. It’s great late night food. Cajon fries and milkshakes and delicious.

I would give a better rating but they play christian radio in there and I feel that is wrong. I don’t think it should be forced on people!!!

I lived in NC for years the Cookout was a staple of my normal diet. I know, thats bad. The Anderson location seems to cook a bunch of burgers, let them sit, get dry, and then put them on a bun. The ones in NC always gave me fresh tasting burgers that were juicy and tasteful. The ones here just seem dry and tasteless. Overcooked. Everything except the burgers is great. IF they would stop overcooking the burgers, I would give them 5 Stars.

Simply put it’s a lower cost version of Five Guys with some drop in the quality of food, some drop in size of orders, and some decline in the brightness of the place. All togehter though, it’s better food than any chain burger joint at a very reasonable price. They have some«pre-designed» burgers — «Cook Out Style» for example is Chilli Slaw Mustard and Onion… They have Chicken, BBQ, Hot Dogs, etc. a good variety. Also apparently over 40 flavors of milk shakes. If you like Five Guys and want to ct your bill substantially… drop by.
