Super 8 Anderson/Clemson

We stayed at this Super 8 on our way to Florida. PROS: The price was great, the front desk clerk was pleasant, the room we reserved was available when we got there (which is often not the case), and the room appeared to be clean. CONS: The hallway REALLY smelled bad, the room had a strong air freshener scent, the sheets were terribly pilled, and the furniture opposite the bed was so crammed along that wall that the walkway between the edge of the desk and the corner was tight. (A big problem when you are going to the bathroom in the dark… almost broke my toe!) If in this area again, I will look for a better option.

This place was great. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff is courteous. There was an attendant at the breakfast bar the whole time we sat and ate making sure we have everything we needed. Only downfall would be the location of our room. We stayed on the first floor right near the door and the vending machine/​ice maker. Very noisy! Other than that, amazing experience for our road trip!
