Good price. Good food. Very attentive servers. My drink never reached the bottom and I drank Alot of tea, almost would’ve been better to just leave the pitcher. My only complaint was the steak, I asked for medium-rare, along with my coworker, No bother to ask for a recheck to get us another one remade. But it did taste good at the very least. All American food on the bar, kept full, was even able to watch as they were making some of it fresh as we ate.

Ryan’s is a American food, family buffet with average prices and offerings. They have a steakhouse menu in addition to the buffet as well. I’ve ordered some very good hamburger steaks with mushroom gravy and baked potatoes from them, but as the years go by the portions have gotten smaller. The buffet is ok, with some items hit and miss. I really like the chicken for example, but the macaroni and cheese is terrible to me. It really depends on your tastes. The salad bar is always very fresh, but my favorite part is the dessert bar! The chocolate chip cookies are absolutely amazing when hot and fresh! Don’t miss those!

Being in this area for only a few months, my hubby and I have come to enjoy an occasional Sunday Brunch here at Ryans. At the intersection of 81 and Pearman Dairy rd across from the quality foods at RR tracks. For a buffet restaurant this Ryan’s is pretty nice. We are glad to find it open on Sunday and Holidays. Sunday Brunch is nice the Omelet guy is always friendly and helpful and my omelet is always perfect. They have pico de gaio at the omelet bar. Nice! The salad bar is nice and it has always been clean and neat. For a buffet, the food has been fairly good and consistently better than most places in the area. Most of the waitstaff have been pleasant and competent. The few times steak has been on the menu, it has been surprisingly good and not overcooked. Very tastey grits too.

Ok. Let’s see, went for supper. «New lower prices,» well $ 10.99 + $ 1.99 drink. Same as every other buffet. Food was ok, not great but ok. Not sure how long it will be before I go back. But I may

This place has gone way down hill over the years and sadly I think it’s going to be sooner rather than later when this one follows suit after its crosstown sister restaurant and shuts down. There is one thing that I do like and that’s the long time waitresses there. If you can get an older one, they will take care of you. The food used to be really good, but now it’s the same consistency I had in my college cafeteria and makes me ill. They likely add starch to make you feel fuller. Ironically, for a steak house, I have never eaten a quality steak there — not since may, many moons ago. Some of the clientele there are just disgusting — it does affect other guests when the 500 pounder in the rascal scooter two tables over decides to pass gas and burst out laughing about it or some kid runs around on a tare because his parents are bad parents. Also the mega bar prices have went up about $ 3 over the last five years with no improvement to show for it. They used to have a really good weekend brunch.
