I have a love/hate relationship with Culvers. The location on Belleville kind of ruined it for the location on Warren for me, as I would have to wait for a long time and hardly ever got the right order. Every time I pass Warren, I have PTSD and keep on going(probably good for my waistline, but i digress). Now that I’m out in Dexter/Scio, and healed enough from the painful memories, I decided to give it a try. REDEMPTION! The place was great and the food was fast, hot and right. Maybe there is a difference in the location; this one is not right off the freeway like Belleville, but down Jackson Rd in front of Lowes. Worth a stop or two when you’re in town.

it is not often that you find great staff at a fast food restaurant but this is the place to go to find that everybody is so kind and helpful and the food is always ready right away

My first butter burger experience and it was pretty delicious! I wish the fries were a bit more seasoned but the service here was fantastic — especially when we got a free sample of the custard for the day :)

New job, new places to visit in Ann Arbor and I was super psyched to find out there was a Culver’s nearby. Culver’s was a guilty pleasure for me when I lived near the one on Newburgh. I could eat there every day, especially their frozen custard. So many different flavors! This store seems to be conservative-lots of chocolate, not as many fruit or pie flavors. IF you’ve never had the banana cream pie or the coconut pie, you are missing out! The salty, shortbready crust pieces broken into the sweet custard is fabulous! Today, I had to get my standby, which is caramel cashew. It was pretty good, with lots of cashews. Just under 4 dollars for a mini, which is a bit pricey, but it makes a mediocre day a little nicer!

Visited this past Friday… After spending a few months away, from a post recent«poor» visit. For starters I can’t begin to explain how unprofessional your«manager» Jared is, from discussing employees who should have been written up with other employees in front of a whole dining room full of customers to laughing when another employee approaches him about an issue in the dining room. Basically gossip central, upon ordering Jared took my order… Quite decently rude, sarcastic and as if I was a bother. When I asked if I could add cheese curds to my single cheeseburger combo with fries and a small drink he replied with«you need both fries and cheese curds?» Excuses me? Isn’t that my choice as a customer. It’s unfortunate this location is struggling so bad, makes a bad name for the area franchises… It’s all about customer service and with a leader like himself, I can see why the crew is struggling. Two stars for the cleanliness, very up kept drink bar, and to go waiting area.

If I could choose one chain restaurant to survive the coming apocalypse, it would be Culver’s. It is hands down my very favorite fast food/fast casual place to eat.(If I lived out west, I might consider saving In-N-Out Burger, but since they won’t come to the midwest, screw ‘em!). Where to begin? Their burgers are scrumptious– and look as good or better than the pictures of them in signs or advertising. Fries, while kinda old school are always, hot, crisp and fresh. Their other items– salads/fish/etc. are good. The custard is yummy and best of all– they are extremely consistent. No matter where I have gone, I have never had a bad Culver’s experience.

I like Culver’s. The burgers are tasty if a bit greasy. But perhaps that’s from the butter they put on the buns. I tried one of the new 4 peppercorn ranch burgers recently and really like the taste. Fries were alright, no complaints. I did appreciate the Diet Root Beer that is on the fountain. It is very good!

High fives to the drive thru staff! I came through yesterday with my pup in the passenger side and a rumbly tummy. I ordered my chicken sandwich and pull up to pay at the window. My pup? He gets super psyched to see the human on the other side of the glass – tail wagging, trying to get loose of his harness, whining, the full nine. He desperately wants to say hello. The woman on the other side? SO nice. «Would your dog like a pup cup?» «What’s a pup cup?» I ask. «A small cup of ice cream!» «Oh yes, he would love that!» And he sure did! He licked that 2oz pup cup clean. It made him SO happy. We ended up eating our meal/ice cream on the patio enjoying the fresh air and the treats. A great experience for sure!

I have never had a bad burger from this particular Culver’s. The triple Butter burger and an order of onion rings are my go to Friday night tasty treat. This is a a fast food place but the burgers are not fast food quality, they’re always hot and always delicious. If you like a good greasy burger treat once in a while you can’t go wrong with Culver’s!

I have always liked Culvers. I grew up in Wisconsin, which is where Culvers began, and it’s a mainstay there… There are very few things I dislike at Culvers. I was happy when they opened a location near my house. I love their burgers and Reubens and I also love that they now offer Diet Root Beer. Today was the first day I had something I didn’t care for… I ordered a fish sandwich and it really wasn’t good. Very bland and difficult to eat. Too much of the bland tartar sauce, hardly any cheese. Thankfully the crinkle cut fries were still good. It’s very odd that I not like something at Culvers, but from now on I am going to stay away from the fish.

This is really a 4.5 star review, but will lean towards 5 because the food was really really good. I had a few things here: chicken tenders(really good), fries(also really good, which i was surprise by because i usually do not like crinkle cut fries), Double bacon cheese burger(excellent, a better version of a steak n shake burger to me and the butter bun), Onion Rings(pretty good) and of course i had to have a concrete mixer from there, which was also really good. They to me have a big menu for a fast food place, good and different options. A little pricier than most fast food joints, but way worth the money.

It’s a Sunday night tradition since the fall: Sunday nights are ice cream nights in our house. For the past two months we’ve been devoted to Culver’s. Probably because I find The Flavor Of The Day to be a fun way to determine what I want based on the flavor. Yeah, I have a very chill life. Besides ice cream, we also have gotten Culver’s takeout a few times. While yes, it’s fast food, it’s also pretty good. I like the plain old cheeseburger, with or without bacon. The others can get really sloppy and I HATE sloppy food. Hate. In addition to the burgers I love their fries(crinkle cut fries are the bomb diggity!) and the cheese curds are to die for. While I can’t eat this more than a few times a yer, it’s worth it when we do decide on Culver’s. There may be a wait and the more food you’re getting, the longer that wait is going to be. Some people don’t seem to get this and kind if get impatient and will ride up or not move so that the car behind can get to the window. They supposedly make the food to order so it just makes sense that it’s going to take longer. The service is less than stellar. Some of the staff are downright dim and ordering can be a real nightmare. Make sure to check the screen and order slowly. I find it helps to say how many items you’re ordering to start. Otherwise they sometimes keep assuming you’re done. Silly. I also can’t stand that they don’t understand that if a single driver is in the car and ordering multiple drinks or ice creams, a tray makes sense. Sheesh! I go through every Sunday night and every time they try to hand me three items despite that it’s alway just me or me and my exchange student. See above paragraph’s comment re: dimness. For ice cream stick to shakes and sundaes or a plain scoop — they are horrible at making concrete mixers and considering how pricey those are, they’re NOT worth it. Still, a good burger/fries joint in the neighborhood.

Culver’s is fine if you are tired of McDs or Taco Bell. But since their opening, I’ve noticed a steady decline in the quality and service. The location is great, right next to Lowe’s. And for a holiday break from shopping its not bad. So go here if you need a different option from fast food, but don’t expect much.

I am so happy this Culver’s is now open! I drove past it all the time while it was under construction and couldn’t wait for its grand opening. I have always loved Culver’s as a chain. This particular location is very clean and the service staff is attentive, friendly, and polite. The food is leaps and bounds above other types of «fast food». Butterburgers are their classic entrée and are famous for a reason… they are damn good. Don’t leave without ordering some custard. They have a different flavor of the day every single day. All of their desserts revolve around the custard which is thick, creamy, and tasty. My personal favorite is the caramel cashew sundae… to die for.

Culver’s is tucked away behind the Lowe’s on Jackson Road. I love this place. So a cousin of mine is from Wisconsin and I told her that I loved cheese curds. She asked, «where have you had them from?» Because this was my first time in WI. I replied«Culvers». She said«that’s not OK!» We proceeded to a local bar that sported authentic cheese curds haha. Despite my cousin’s comments, I still love the fast food goodness of Culvers. The staff uniforms are 60’s inspired. like what you’d wear if you worked an old timey soda fountain. Their custards are thicker and creamier than normal ice cream and their toppings are really good. Service is fast and friendly. Place is really new and the inside is very clean. Sometimes you just need a break and you can’t stand to have another Doritos Locos tacos. sike, I take that back.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have a review yet on Unilocal. So here we go. I learned about Culvers on a road trip out to Chicago, when my family and I decided to go somewhere other than your usual McDonalds. First things first, frozen custard. Need I really say anything more? But wait, I will. I like the frozen custard. I especially like it in a concrete mixer(think of those Blizzards you get at another certain ice cream shop/stand around the area). The concrete mixers will take your flavor of custard(standard vanilla or chocolate) and add two mix-ins. Mine? Oreo and strawberry with vanilla custard. My dad tends to like a sundae at this place, but he’s pretty classic with his tastes– strawberry and peanuts. And I mean, WHO doesn’t like frozen custard? I have to say, I’ve never had a butter burger, which is what this place is known for. So, I can’t really talk to you about the merits of this burger. I usually go for the fried chicken– only because it’s pretty decent fried chicken. I mean it’s nothing special, but when you’re having a fried chicken craving(and I sometimes do), and you don’t want the chicken in the red and white bucket or actually make it yourself– this place does it in a pinch. The one thing I will caution is the entrance to this place is misleading. The first time I went past there, well… I drove past it. It’s located within the Lowe’s driveway off of Jackson Rd.
