I would like to start off by saying that I am not a fan of Dollar General as a company. I find that this company mostly sells cheap plastic junk. This particular location is the bottom of the barrel as far as retail goes. I’ve been here a few times and have always had to search for an associate to come to the register to help me. At one point I couldn’t even find anyone. I eventually yelled into the back room and a guy came out. He later explained that the poor customer service is due to the lack of scheduled hours and poor management. Apparently, they usually only schedule one or two people to man the store which is nowhere near enough manpower. Given the lack of visible employees, this sounds believable.
