Amazing Liquor/Party Store I’ve been going to for years. I love all the selections they have available and they always have my favorite beverages restocked. 5 Stars all the way!

This is my go to party store. So many others in A2 spike their prices in the U of M area and everything in this store is fair market price. A huge positive is that the store is constantly clearing out old craft beers and does a huge discount to move out seasonal beers. The biggest reason I come here over other places is no matter who is working, they are always friendly and helpful. A few times I have been given the suggestion to get different size bottles because my purchase would be cheaper. I’ve never seen the person running the liquor store do that for me. Tonight, I just walked out with a(24 bottles) of New Castle Black Cabbie for $ 15. That is the same price for the 12 pack at the grocery store. Overall, great selection, fair prices, good deals, and a staff that makes a party store feel like Cheers.

i go here when i need to get something really quick… granted the prices are on the upside, but you get what you pay for at a convenience store. the owners are nice and since they redid the parking lot, it’s a lot nicer. It gets busy in the evenings… the only thing i don’t like is leaving the complex to make a left turn.

Really nice guys who run this store and I find the prices to be great. They also have really great specials on various alcoholic beverages the likes of which I’ve never seen before. I definitely recommend Northside Liquor over other competitors as far as a standard liquor store goes!

As far as convenience stores go, this is pretty typical. They sell munchies and soda. It’s also a good place to make a beer run. They shine in their wine selection. It’s smaller than say, Bello Vino, but it’s pretty good for a convenience store. They’re right next to U-M’s campus, and they do cater to students, so the selection of Arbor Mist and Boone’s Farm is generous. But, they also have more upscale wine selections, and some more unusual things for a convenience store, like port and several varieties of sake. Also, I have a hard time finding flavored sparkling water in the flavors that I like, and this store carries both Faygo and Cap10 sparkling water in a variety of flavors. The prices aren’t that great, but I’m willing to pay it for my favorite grapefruit sparkling water from Faygo, or some more exotic flavors like cranberry-lime and Mandarin Orange in Cap10.
