I am always on the lookout for healthy, and tasty meals when I go out to eat, so I was pleased to come across the Beet Box. It is a must-try when you go to Mark’s Carts. It is so fresh and the girl who was preparing the food when I went for lunch was very friendly. You must try the beet quinoa with cauliflower and feta-yogurt dip. I normally don’t care that much for beets, but I love Beet Box.

I went to Mark’s Carts today with some friends for pre-studying nosh and decided to try out the Beet Box. I’m a pretty firm San Street devotee, but was going to feel guilty if I didn’t try something new! The meal was surprisingly blah. It was the kind of food I’d whip up in my kitchen if I were making food for the rest of the week(bc it’s not hard to make or procure the ingredients for beet quinoa, roasted cauliflower, and salad mix, let’s be real…). The cauliflower was rubbery and cold. I was kind of surprised that nothing was made fresh on-site. It was like a very limited Whole Foods cold bar. The girl in the cart was conversational and genuine, though, and I did appreciate that. The Beet Box is good quality food but it’s nothing that will blow your mind!
