I have been here many, many times and enjoy hunting through their collection of junk for treasures. The donations have been very thoroughly sorted into categories and the prices are extremely reasonable. I’ve gotten everything from furniture to toys to books to appliances to antique china here. It is not a corporate run thrift store and certainly has it’s quirks but I have never experienced the type of service I’ve heard of other people referencing. The staff has always been polite and gone out of their way to be kind to my kids. I’ll keep going back for more thrifty steals.

The share house is dedicated to making an enemy out of their customers. The staff is incredibly rude, and literally go out if their way to make sure you’ll never return. Share House is a fantastic experience if you want food for thought about one of life’s great questions: «How can a staff be so foul, unhelpful, and aggressively rude and stay in business?» For everyone else, stay far away. You’ll deal with much more pleasant people at Value World, PTO, and Salvation Army! And all of them are right in the Ann Arbor area.

This place is a hipster’s dream — a huge thrift store with decent prices. It’s a bit dingy, but is fairly well-organized by department. There’s just a lot to look through, so you just have to take your time and enjoy the hunt. There are some vintage gems: LPs, furniture, glassware, dishes, etc. There are also clothes, books, kids stuff, electronics, random tchotchke items, etc.
