Tios Restaurant

I’m really surprised this place only has 1 review! This is constantly a favorite for my boyfriend and I. We love the Tingas tacos and the American tacos. They are so good and the staff is so friendly.

Well we’ve eaten here before and I think we enjoyed our dinner and so when we found a coupon for Tios, it helped us in our decision to come and try again! The coupon that we had is from the «Entertainment 2014» pass book. It was for «buy 1 meal get one free». We sat down outdoors and the waitress came over and saw our coupon sitting out on the table. She picked it up and told us that she «didn’t think they would accept that coupon as they were not taking them any longer». We couldn’t understand that, when it doesn’t expire until 2015!
The waitress went to talk to the Manager. There were no other customers outside at all. Inside there may have been one table eating dinner. But that was all the «action» inside that restaurant on this Tuesday evening. When the waitress came back, she told us that they «would not be honoring that coupon any longer, including tonight». We got up and left. I just felt that it was necessary for me to write down my experience at this restaurant. We had eaten here one other time about a year ago or so. If I remember correctly, the food was pretty good. But this night we weren’t able to find that out. I feel as though if you put a coupon in a book and it is still an active dated book, then you should be honoring it… period. Don’t put it in next year. but honor it while the date is still active.
I wanted and needed to write down my experience or our experience for you regarding Tios restaurant. I just felt saddened that we were paying customers who were willing and ready to eat there. We had been seated and they let us just walk away unwilling to honor a valid dated coupon which was well within the date still and had about 6 more months to go on it. There were hardly any customers on this specific Tuesday evening. I’m just flabbergasted that they let us just walk away. Anyways, now we have a bad taste in our mouth for this establishment… thank you.
