Towneplace Suites by Marriott

We checked in on a friday night and spent the weekend. Traveled to DC and Baltimore on day trips.
Nice, quiet location. Clean suite, adequate kitchen utensils, etc. The beds were comfy and very clean and so was the bathroom.
The staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard but nice, fresh food in a clean area.
We would tell any if our friends or family to stay there!

We stayed here for two days over the christmas weekend and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff on duty. We checked in early on Christmas day and returned around 10pm to find that we had no hot water. The person on duty quickly moved us to a new room where we had hot water. After spending the next day away from the room we returned around midnight to find that we again had no hot water. After checking another room for hot water it was decided to move us to another building, which solved the problem.
All the desk personnel handled this situation calmly and professionally and comped one of our nights. Our rooms (all three) were neat and clean. We would definitely stay here again, in the future.

Great location if needed for Meade. Staff is phenomenal with their support — including the business center, mail receipt, and multiple faxes (free) to support everything needed for a local home purchase.
Kitchen has the basics for grocery shopping, storage, and cooking to reduce restaurant costs (along with quick lunchtime option within walking distance).
Located and designed for Meade-​related business.

My rating is primarily on the staff. Super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet and close to Ft. Meade. Pet friendly and decent kitchen. My only issue was the internet service. Don’t advertise high speed internet in every room if it doesn’t work for more than 30 minutes at a time (or at all sometimes). Called twice and nothing was done and it wasn’t my laptop like they suggested.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel when we moved to MD from overseas. We spent almost two months at the Towneplace and everything was great. The staff couldn’t be nicer, the hotel was well maintained, and because it’s pet-​friendly we didn’t have to place our cats and dog in a kennel. Towneplace is great for military families PCSing to MD due to its location (only 10 minutes to Fort Meade), military discount, and fully-​equipped kitchenette.

This place is good. There’s a kitchen. There are places like Trader Joe’s within easy rental-​car driving distance. There are other places within walking distance that may be more important. The initials of said place are not to be conveyed.
Without decent grocers, I’d be stuck with the local fried food. Exactly what was fried doesn’t matter; there’s no difference at the end. Even the «famous» crab. ew.
I still haven’t braved «Blob’s» nearby. The name alone scares me.

One of the worst Marriott I’ve stayed in. Free breakfast was pitiful.
