Surprising for the location. I must say, it doesn’t look like much from the outside, nor did I expect the quality we received. The prices are really reasonable. It was $ 12 for the original crabcake sandwich and I got a side of cole slaw. More like a bowl of cole slaw. Awesome. Next time I want to try the cajun version! My mom enjoys the Hawaiian(has shrimp mixed in). You aren’t paying for service or ambiance but it’s clean and the crabcakes are good. Sold.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Had the baja crab cake. It was pretty good. Had plenty of crab meat, and the flavoring was not bad. Big serving of fries on the side that you can get seasoned with Old Bay, salt and malt vinegar, or unseasoned. Very friendly employees too. Overall, not a bad spot to pick up a crab cake sandwich. Will fill you up for around $ 14.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to the Naval Academy and we decided to stop and eat before heading over to the academy. Since Maryland is famous for their crab, we decided to go on our trusty Unilocal app and find a crab place. We were so happy that Annapolis and the surrounding areas are civilized and actually utilize Unilocal(he’s in the more uncivilized part where nobody likes to Unilocal). He had the New Orleans Crab Cake sandwich with Old Bay fries and I had the Maryland Crab soup. They were both excellent and we were so glad we decided to grab lunch here. They definitely don’t use fillers in their Crab Cake so it’s all crab meat and yumminess. We’d go back fosho.

This place is not fancy by any stretch and it could be considered more of a carryout but they make damn good crab cakes. In fact, the menu isn’t large. It’s got a few variations on the crab cake sandwich and stand alone crab cakes with cream of crab soup and a couple of salads. It just has damn good crab cakes. I recommend it to anyone with an hankerin’ for crab cakes but doesn’t need t go fancy for ambiance or décor.

The cream of crab soup was a huge hit for me and my sons. They are both cream of crab soup aficionados. The crab cake sandwich was very good, no filler! The old bay fries were a hit as well. This place is to fast food crab cakes as five guys is to burger joints. I love it. The menu is simple and focused on amazing crabs. Like who goes to a crab cage for a hamburger or burrito!!! Only if they sold some quality beers to chase down the wonderful food they dish out.

One of the best jumbo lump crab cakes i have ever tasted. Too bad that they close early. 7 pm they close. We only get dinner around that time! Also, they can add up more side dishes like rice for asians like me! Lol

Back for more– did the $ 10 special, mini crab cake sandwhich and the small cup of gumbo. The Gumbo, they nailed it! So spicy and loaded with lump crab. The mini crab sandwhich is a little bigger than a slider, definitely a lunch size; light dinner portion. As I said before this place is great!

Ok, I’m handing it to my sister-in-law; this is two for two that she’s found delicious winners! We came up to watch our nephew play peewee football. For the record, little kid football is just as confusing as big boy football. Post game, my sister in law mentioned that there was a great new crab cake joint that would be perfect for lunch. I’m going to be honest… when she mentioned this, I did a little bit of an interior eye-roll, because I’m a little finicky about my crab cakes. To start with, I generally hate most American crab cakes because there’s always too much breading(i.e. non-crab filler), or too much mayo(i.e. gross white globs of sour egg). But my husband’s family bleeds MD Blue Crab, and I have since learned not to get in-between them and potential crabbing. I was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Bistro Crab Cake as a slider(not on the menu, but for $ 10, you can get any crab cake as a mini-slider and a cup of soup) and a cup of the Creamy Crab Soup. The slider was great — it was about half the size of a full sized crab cake sandwich, but it was wonderful lumps of crab, very little filler, and I don’t think I tasted any mayo. The slider was tender and moist and definitely not overcooked(another pet peeve I have with crab cakes). Wonderful! The soup was creamy and thick, with just a hint of sherry… and again, delicious and large lumps of crab. Definitely a great spot to hit up if you’re craving crab cakes on the cheap and fast. Yums!
