This was the worst manicure I have ever had. Bought a living social coupon. I went in on 11/14/2015 poor young girl was by herself could tell she did not really do manicures when she asked me if I wanted my cuticles done. People were there waiting for another girl who never did show up, needed to give a tip girl had no money and couldn’t find it. I had to go next door to get change. Sitting in those hard ass chairs killed my back. I have called living social for my money back. Looks like I did my own nails,

Very poor experience. Wanted to get my nails done before a job interview, but my French gel manicure is something I could have done better myself. the lady doing my nails never asked me what type of shape I wanted for the French white & shoved my hands under the blue light right after she painted them. When I pulled them out to take a look and asked for them to be altered, she said«I don’t think I can fix it now». She tried nevertheless but it looks uneven and unsymmetrical. You can also see smudges of white under the top coat which makes them look messy. In addition, my appointment was at 11am on a Saturday & the entire store was closed down until 11:25. I waited in my car until someone showed up to open the store. I called, but got the answering machine. Lastly, the owner of the store does not stop talking about money. It comes off very crass & superficial. She talks non-stop about charging, prices, her profit margins, and how she is losing a lot of money by using Groupons. Do not recommend.

The Filipino lady who did my manicure is super nice and attentive, but the owner is too pushy to get me to buy other services — eyebrow wax and pedicure that I don’t need at that time. When I said no, her attitude changed to bad and cold.

I went into Java a few days ago to have a manicure and pedicure. There was one staff member working(Kim). Apparently, there are two Kims at the Salon — Kim the owner and Kim the owner’s sister. I had«Kim the sister». Kim was very pushy and while I was having my nails done, she kept insisting I needed a haircut. Finally, I let her cut my hair. I never should have trusted her with my hair. She grabbed the back of my hair and cut a straight line across. Then she took all my hair in one hand pulled it over my head and started chopping. Then she dried my hair for a few minutes, and told me she was done. My hair was still damp when I left. My hair looked horrible, and I had to get my hair cut(much shorter) at a different salon to fix it. I cannot believe I had to pay $ 55 for this horrible haircut. My nails looked great, but I do not recommend anyone have a haircut at this place.

Kim was very sweet and did a great job! Will definitely go back! The salon has $ 25 gel manicure specials can’t beat that!

First, I take responsibility for making a horrible decision in trusting a stranger with my hair. The only worker in this salon was talkative and friendly, albeit pushy. I received a partial highlight and haircut. We talked through the coloring process and cut, I explained what I wanted and felt hopeful. This stylist, Kim, did not listen to my requests: «leave my hair long» «I don’t want layers» «just even it out please» «I’m afraid because because my hair grows extremely slowly.» This stylist immediately cut off two inches gripping all my hair in her hand, clearly not understanding a bob cut angled more long in the front. Next, she took all my hair in one hand over my head and started chopping. I was devastated… And told her so. I should have walked out without paying but I was desperate to leave and have trouble being rude. I made a partial payment and left. I cannot believe I trusted this salon and now have to pay to fix this disgusting hair cut. Im devastated. Btw, I sent pictures to friends just to make sure I wasn’t overreacting… They said«oh my God» and«oh no, dear it’s so sad, I’m so sorry» and worst of all«how can that be fixed!?» UPDATE: The salon was very responsive and kind when I contracted them. I was refunded the full amount I paid for the services.

I went in a few weeks ago. The 1 staff member was doing a manicure for another woman. The lone staff member said out loud«Is this music gay?» I ignored her. What are you? 12? No, just super ignorant(as noted in her reply below of Logan W…) So she repeated herself again, loudly, and asked if her music was gay. WTH!!! Never again will I return. What a miserable experience. Music doesn’t have sexual orientation…

Should have read these reviews instead of the ones on Facebook. I also found a deal on Living Social and decided to give it a try. Kim was very pleasant but didn’t do a good job with my gel manicure. She painted my nails so far away with my cuticles that it looks like it’s grown out already. She also used too much nail polish which caused the nail polish to be bumpy. And lastly, she applied on so much lotion and didn’t take the time to rub it in because there was a customer waiting. By far one of the worst manicures I have had. Thank God I didn’t pay full price for it!
