For the most part my experiences here have been fine. Minus one time when an employee didn’t agree with me regarding a joke I made trying to be funny. A harmless joke I might add. But otherwise it’s a good place to go for office supplies and printed material.

I had to get business cards printed for work and went to Staples for their 4 hour promise and since they were having a sale(500 for $ 20). I called a few times with questions and had to wait between 10 – 20 minutes on the phone to speak with someone and the information the gave me was later determined to be inaccurate. Once at Staples, the printing center was not able to complete my order in the designated time and it got pushed to the next day after I had to leave for the work event the business cards were needed for. The cards were low quality when I saw them also, the text was pixilated and their sale was not honored.

Good product. Service, not so much I have had two similar experiences with the printing center here ordering two similar products two years apart. Most recently, I had a difficult time getting straight answers out of the clerk regarding what I needed. She had a hard time understanding what I was asking. Rather confused, uncommunicative and not clear on price. I was first told $ 43. When I said I would take it someplace else, she finally actually looked it up and gave me a price of $ 29. When I picked up the job, it was $ 23. Another clerk, when I picked up the job, seemed very distracted while trying to serve two customers at the same time, minimal eye contact, seemed bored by/above it all. I nearly opted to come back when I would be the only customer there but she finally got it right. In the end I got the product I wanted. It was done well and at a fair price. However, the process was not pleasant or confidence inspiring.

One girl was helpful. The other seemed unhappy with her job. I don’t go to Staples often so I don’t know how this one compares to its brethren. However, it was missing some things that I wanted.

Although you can purchase most things online nowadays, if I need something in a pinch, I scoot over here. Never had any issues here.

Like any other typical Staples store, it was good enough to get my needs for the office. Attentive customer service as far as I’m concerned, even at 830 in the morning. If I need anymore office supplies, I’ll be back in the future.

The lady at the copy and print desk had the absolute worst customer service. She was extremely slow, rolled her eyes, was no proactive when I was asking her questions about what was the most cost effective way to print the several items I needed to print. I walked out of there very unsatisfied and went straight to Office Depot.

This print center is 800x better than Bowie location. Although it’s a bit farther from me, this location will now be my go-to as a result. I submitted an online order of postcards, banners, and posters online via«instant pick-up» and low-and-behold: it was indeed ready for INSTANTPICK-UP. Try that at the Bowie Store and see what you get. I bet it’s a whole lotta«Uhhh… I can’t find your order» or «Sorry, something went wrong, but we can fix it.» AGH! When you are doing to a printer, chances are time is of the essence. Who has time for that? Not only was my print project done to perfect, when I decided at the last minute to put the poster on foam board, the lady handling my order was more than happy to oblige and even complemented me on my project. She went out of her way to make sure I got a bag big enough to fit the over-sized poster without complaint as well. I think it was the first time I walked into a Staples to pick up a print order and have it actually be done when they said it was going to be done. Exactly the way it should be.

Good prices and selection? Yes. Customer service? Not. Lazy, unmotivated, working on surly staff both at cashier and on the floor today. Somebody else came in with a part # for ink, and instead of looking it up the Sales Rep said«I don’t know, we probably don’t carry it…» and the customer walked out.
