worst toys r us experience of my life. After spending $ 300 dollars on a car seat I proceeded to leave with my husband and baby. To our surprise the alarms went off and we stopped; before we could even turn around a cashier with red hair and glasses started to yell«Is he Stealing?!» I was mortified and insulted to the max. How dare she assume we are stealing when it was simply an issue with the item. I received no apology but a laugh in my face. I will be calling corporate and reporting the unprofessionalism of this location. It’s also dirty, disorganized, and a pain to get to.

I went to this Baby R Us section of the Toys R us, I was disappointed in the selection of toys for babes to be branded as a Baby’s R us. What I did not like was the the baby toys seemed to be scratched and used. When I get a toy for the little one’s I would like to feel that the toy is new and not beat up. As the previous reviews the street entrance to the Toys R us is difficult to get to and a little tricky to get in. I have a better experience at other Toys R Us

Update: Since I complained about this situation publicly(i.e., on their Facebook page), the Toys«R» Us marketing people have been extremely responsive. They’ve been messaging me back and forth, offering to get the Annapolis management team to contact me personally. Unfortunately, I went elsewhere and purchased the toy I was looking for but I’ll give the corporate people good marks for being pro-active about a situation that didn’t have to be a situation if someone had just answered the phone. I just hope the Annapolis store management learns they can’t do this to customers because I’m apparently not the only one.

It is nearly impossible to get into the entrance of this location without going then opposite direction then making a dangerous U-turn. The customer service is terrible. Don’t bother calling because this location NEVER answers the phone. I tried calling to see if they had a product and they put me on hold forever… calling back multiple times did still never got to speak with a person.

First of all, having a child means that at some point I have to venture to Toys R Us, especially during the holidays! So alas, I go to the nearest Toys R Us to my home, to Annapolis, I go! I wanted to get my daughter her very first bike for Christmas, so I went to the back of the store where they were located! I saw a huge variety of bikes at differing price points! I was helped on a previous occasion by a gentleman named Clark. He works in that area and was extremely friendly and answered all my questions! I went back to purchase the bike! The cashier, Amy was extremely friendly and very patient with the process which included them verifying the item in house before selling the bike! I was told to check back within 48 – 72 hours of the sale to check on the assembly of the bike! I checked back 72 hours later and after a couple of checks, I was informed over the phone by Clark that my bike was defective! I started to panic, but I kept my composure over the phone. Clark then told me that he would check inventory at another store to see if they had the bike. He said he would personally go pick the bike up if they had it and let me know! He told me he would call me back after checking on the bike. I received a phone call about 25 minutes later from Clark letting me know that he had located another bike and that he would pick it up on his off time and put it together personally. I felt reassured to some degree. At least a person who is a permanent staff member instead of a seasonal employee would be taking care of my situation. I was informed by him that he would call me by Wednesday around noon to let me know when I could pick it up! To my surprise, Wednesday morning around 10:30, I received a phone call from Clark letting me know that my bike was ready to be picked up! I was on my way to pick it up because it was the most opportune time to pick it up while my daughter was at school. When I got there, they called for him to bring it up, and he did! He told me «he didn’t want to disappoint a little girl on Christmas!» I was so happy and thankful that he was there to take care of this situation. He was great! The bike was perfect and I am sure my daughter will love it! I received very good customer service at a time when it can be sketchy(the holidays). This location has always been very good and is usually very well stocked! Very good location with great customer service and great staff!

It’s Toys R Us, and there is not another one close by. It has baby stuff, which makes it very convenient for me. There is no other place in town that carries breast pump/milk supplies like they do short of ordering stuff through the mail. They have some great sales reps that are very helpful, and one or two that are not, but what large store doesn’t have those folks. I have had a great experience when I have to return items etc — but I am pretty nice to people, so I expect they don’t get that much. The selection is ok, but like I said, it’s the only one around. There is a small toy store at Festival Riva, but they are expensive. I will agree with Erin, it’s a bear to get to, you have to go to the light, turn into the mall, make a u-turn to get back in line for the light and then you can get to it(if you are coming from main Annapolis). It’s a pain. But that’s the price of doing business. If you are leaving the mall, it’s convenient as it’s on the way out if you go that way. Oh and they are starting to carry more and more organic products and they also have clothes for children up to 5T. Not bad!

Full disclosure, I’m here for the toys. I don’t like trying to get to this particular TRU. It’s on Defense Highway, and there is NOWAY to get there except coming from the direction of the mall, so if you’re coming from downtown Annapolis, it’s a pain. Recently, I’ve visited here twice, and the sections I visited were not stocked the first trip, and on the second trip, they were. So it’s hit and miss, so far. As I said, it’s difficult to get to, so I don’t come here that often. I’ve never been approached by any salesperson, which is fine for me, since I know exactly what I’m looking for 9 times out of 10. Now that more of my friends are having kids, I guess I should visit the baby section more… but right now I’m more interested in the toys!

This store is now a Toys R Us-Babies R Us combo. On the plus side, the store is large and well-organized. The baby gear selection is very good and most prices are competitive. The strollers, car seats, gliders, and highchairs are prominently displayed so that you can try before you buy. The staff in the baby area is knowledgeable and helpful. The store only carries infant feeding supplies that are BPA-free. A big plus in my book. Both restrooms offer changing tables, and there is a private mother’s room that’s ideal for nursing/feeding and diaper-changing. The toy area was well-stocked too, though prices are generally higher than what you’ll find on Amazon or other sites. Would love to add a fourth star, but the parking situation is not great. Entering and exiting from Defense Highway is a pain in the azz with all of the traffic out that way now. Would love to see more toy displays for the kiddos too.
